Eastern Air Services just installed two new heat pumps for us. Ed Sullivan and his crew were outstanding. We got five estimates; Ed's quote included top-rated equipment and his price was the best of the five. When he discovered part-way through the installation that the ducts were compromised and needed to be replaced, he gave us a fair price for the replacement even though at that point he had a "captive audience." Ed was onsite the entire time. He paid attention to details, including reinforcing our attic floor, where one of the units is located, so that it would be easier to provide service in the future. His team arrived on time, and worked efficiently and neatly. They put down tarps to protect our floors, and they thoroughly cleaned up after themselves. They also were friendly, exceedingly polite, and very accommodating, telling us several times that they would do whatever was necessary to make us happy. A VERY GOOD COMPANY! Having returned from an out of town trip, I arrived to an 85-degree house. No AC, circuit breakers tripped and water everywhere. The next morning (Sunday) I searched for a local vendor nad found the Yelp review. I made the call at 7AM on a Sunday morning and Eastern Air Services was at my house by 9AM. They quickly and corrected my issues and diagnosed and corrected a few additional issues left behind from a past contractor. (I found out the last company did many things wrong like installing a new compressor blower motor that blew in the wrong direction.) I can honestly say John and Eastern Air Services is the very best HVAC contractor I have ever dealt with. HANDS DOWN!! I contacted Eastern Air Services after having a new HVAC installed incorrectly in our condominium in Lewes. The original installer, Top Notch, did a horrible job: damaging equipment, failing to install paid-for equipment, lying about the work, not showing up, etc., etc. Eastern Air actually showed me installation paperwork left in the ductwork by the other company! Eastern Air was the perfect remedy! They were prompt, professional and made recommendations that should have been obvious to the previous installer. They are ELITE Certified on our equipment - and that makes a huge difference. I am so glad we now have a service agreement with Eastern Air. Excellent customer service. Came across this buisiness last minute due to an air conditioning emergency and Johnny is the office has supplied the absolute best customer service. Air conditioner (heat pump) had to be replaced because it was the original equipment that came with the condo. Lance and Paul showed up to do the install and even came back out at a later date to replace the standard thermostat that came with the unit, with the wifi thermostat we wanted that was on order. Lance and Paul were courteous and went above their call of duty. Would DEFINITELY recommend this company to ANYONE. It's just a shame I couldn't give them 6 starts. Beware!!!! My son worked for this company and he recently passed away. I asked them to give me his tools back and they wouldn't. I tried to take them to small claims court but when the court tried to serve them, the certified letter came back to the court saying insufficient address. Something not right about that. So I can't get his tools back cause the court said I need to hire a attorney or a process server. I can't afford that. So beware I don't believe they are trust worthy. it's a shame because my other son wanted his tools to use and to have something to remember him by. read more

We called at 8am, were scheduled between 10am and Noon, and John called at about 9:20, saying he was running ahead of schedule and asking if he could come earlier. Loved this company!!!! Our air conditioner stop working in the middle of the night called first thing in the morning and they were her even before they said! We were assuming a new unit (49 years). They had us up and running within 20 minutes. Two new capacitors. Much more affordable than a new unit. We our retired and on fixed income. So this made our day! I went to my shore home with my 96 year old mother and the air conditioning broke, with the temperature at 93 degrees. Eastern Air had someone there within an hour of my call; and, we had new central air installed by that evening. Excellent work, clean-up and very courteous.
