Belinda is so caring and thoughtful. We hired her to help us with our rescue Siberian husky. She…read moreneeds a lot of work with basic training like sit stay etc she was very door reactive ( she actually ran out of her house once with the door cracked). With Belinda's help We taught our Siberian husky to sit, stay, climb, ext and she would sit even when I had the door open. Unfortunately for our lifestyle we were not able to keep our Siberian husky because she is too active and we are very busy with work and outside responsibilities and couldn't give our Siberian husky the type of a lifestyle that she needed... so with the heavy heart we had given her back to the rescue shelter Fortunately for our Siberian husky we had fostered her back to health taught her quite a bit of obedience through the help of Belinda. Knowing that our heart was broken that we had to take our Siberian husky back Belinda called us and was very comforting. She went above and beyond to let us know we were making the right decision and gave excellent support Belinda is a fantastic trainer!

My oldest boy was a rescue who came to us extraordinarily scared and timid. It took me a good 6 mos to get him to trust me, and now he's my little shadow. He remains timid and very shy, and I fear a shock collar would make him revert back to where he was when we got him. My younger dog is also a rescue but he's just a little guy and when I felt the "shock" of the collar even at a very low number I knew I couldn't put one on him. Enter Belinda! Positive and explains dog psyche. Gives advice on adding a new command onto a learned one. She spent some time getting to know my boys and they loved her. I just wish she were in Arizona year round, as I lost several months training time with her due to a knee surgery.

Amazing.. Compasionate.. Phenomenal... Those are just a few of the words to describe Dog Trainer…read moreUS! The team here is everything and more you want for your furr baby! Kristi and Wesley in particular will make you feel like you have hit the jackpot on dog trainers! I had originally sent my dog to K-9 games when it had Kristi and we loved it... My dog had some regression and needed a new session that was a part of the lifetime package and the new K-9 owners said for another fee she could fix it. We went along with it, bad decision.. This not only increased the regression but caused more fear and then we were told that they were no longer going to train. Thankfully Kristi and Wes stepped up and took Dexter under their wing! They came in when we had lost hope and helped us. While Dexter is a very difficult case, Kristi and Wes agreed thy wouldn't give up on him, even when he had to be rehomed to be in an only dog home. If you are looking for trustworthy, skillful, amazing dog trainers these are your people! You wont be dissapointed !! Thank you for being amazing trainers and helping those dogs in need!

So I live in New Jersey and have been using a very well respected and highly rated dog trainer in…read moremy area. While they helped me with many things they fell flat when it came to getting my 10 month old German shepherd mix past the puppy stage. When he hit 9 months the treats and positive training STOPPED working. He did great with no distractions but real life? Absolutely not. I wasn't able to walk him anymore. He was TOO much for me to handle at 70 pounds. My dog loving Aunt who uses him with her dogs and fosters suggested I sign up for his online lessons. At this point I figured what could it hurt and it was less money than 2 private sessions with my other trainer. Ok so...20 minutes in...positive and negative reinforcement?!? Hello!?! Makes so much sense. I did the research and got the pinch collar and the ez trainer 300 collar and less then 1 week later...here we are! On a walk with other dogs, other people and he didn't pull, no lunging and I didn't fear once the life of a passing pedestrian, dog, cyclist, squirrel or chipmunk and I didn't fear being pulled into another state on a last minute whim of my 10 month old Sheprador which let me tell you was fully a worry of mine a couple weeks ago. So excited to continue these online lessons. I finally feel like I'm equipped.

Nate Dog Training - Walk time

We have a almost 2 year old Goldendoodle rescue named Mulligan that we adopted 7 months ago. While…read moresweet, he was super reactive to other dogs. This made walks in our neighborhood truly challenging with the crying, barking and jumping. We stumbled across Nate when he saw him on TV. He had all of his dogs in tow, which were all sweet and behaved. We decided to purchase Nate's book first and focused on the fundamentals that he stresses with in-person training. That was a great foundation. But ultimately, we knew we wanted to have training with Nate. From start to finish it was truly a positive game changer. He first came to our house for the initial 2 sessions. He brings his dogs as well! From there, you still do 1:1 training but out in the real world along with in a group setting with other dog families. I would highly recommend Nate. Our dog has transformed. He can be around other dogs without getting overly excited. We can take him to restaurants without being embarrassed and most of all, he's not stressed and can just be a good boy.

We had a very disappointing experience with Nate and, in my opinion, potential clients should…read moreproceed carefully and trust their instincts if something feels off. We hired Nate to train both of our dogs and paid over $1,000 for the program, which was a significant investment for our family. After the first private session, we were told that one of our dogs was essentially "untrainable," yet no refund or adjustment was offered for that portion of the service. That was our first concern. During the first session, I personally observed handling of my Chihuahua that, in my opinion, was unnecessarily rough and alarming. At one point, the dog was grabbed by the top of the neck and forced to the ground. I understand trainers may use different methods, but this felt excessive and inappropriate to me. Initially, we were hopeful because the first session seemed productive. Unfortunately, things declined quickly afterward. Multiple scheduled sessions were canceled or rescheduled by Nate. After the third change, I called to explain that repeated rescheduling was difficult for our family because both of us had to coordinate time away from work. I also noted that the client cancellation policy appeared much stricter than the flexibility being shown on the business side. During that phone call, Nate became hostile and used disrespectful language. We recorded the conversation after the call escalated. In my opinion, the tone and behavior were unprofessional and concerning. He also accused me of not following through with the training and claimed only my husband had been participating. That was inaccurate. I work from home and was the primary person consistently implementing the training exercises every day. We also attended a group training session where Nate brought his girlfriend along with a German Shepherd. She was never introduced, no explanation was given as to why she was there, and the situation felt awkward and unprofessional. It created an uncomfortable atmosphere for what was supposed to be a structured training environment. Most importantly, the training did not produce the results we were promised despite our consistent effort and compliance with the program instructions. I have since spoken with others who shared similar dissatisfaction, though I can only fully speak to my own experience. My advice to anyone considering group sessions is to stay afterward and speak directly with other clients about their experiences and whether the training has been effective for them. In my opinion, it is valuable to hear honest feedback from others before making further commitments. This review reflects my honest personal experience and opinions. Others may have different results, but based on our experience, I would not recommend this service. If you would like to hear the audio recording of our phone interaction, feel free to reach out to me at Rayrayforthewin66@gmail.com. I strongly encourage anyone considering hiring a trainer to research thoroughly, ask detailed questions about methods, policies, and scheduling expectations, and choose someone whose professionalism and approach make you feel confident.
