Macey & Paws Pet Sitting

I have so many good things to say about Macey. We had a horrible experience with a petsitting lady…read moreand luckily, a friend knows Macey and as used her service for the past few years. His recommendation came high and told us how great she was - he was understating. I was on pins and needles last fall for our honeymoon, since she was our first attempt at petsitting. Macey's professionalism precedes her. She came over a month prior to meet our dog, then 2 weeks out. She has a calm, kind presence and my dog, skittish and big, was all about her. The entire week we were gone, she sent photos, updates, asked questions and answered my crazy dog mom texts when we were out of cell range. My dog warmed up to her even more, not barking and asking for pets and treats. We have used her many times since and our dog is absolutely in love with her. She also left our house even better than we did. It's like she was never there. I also recommended her to two of my friends and my family members. I have heard nothing but praise about her personality, professionalism and love of animals. 10/10 recommend, but I get first dibs on the busy weekends ;)

We met Macey through a mutual friend and she has been an absolute god send. She has stayed with our…read morelittle schnauzer several times and we've also hired her to do day walks on occasion. She always shows up when she says she's going to and sends a recap after every walk to include pics. You can tell she does this because she loves animals and the money is secondary. Our little Nurbi loves her and we feel she also loves her!

CharlieBar Boarding and Training

Being new to town I was terrified to leave my dogs in the care of anyone else! But CharlieBar…read moresurely proved me wrong, I received daily updates from them and my dogs looked like they were having a blast. By pickup I could tell they didn't want to go lol. We will definitely be back, thank you to the CharlieBar team for taking such good care of my babies! They came home exhausted from all the fun they had!

We can't thank Ricardo and the entire team at CharlieBar enough! It's been a month since our…read more4-year-old rescue, Angus, completed his 3-week board and train--and we can confidently say we have a completely transformed dog. When we adopted Angus, an American Bulldog, he was extremely reactive, had zero impulse control, and was tough to manage. Walks were stressful--he would bark, lunge, and completely lose it around other dogs. Recall was non-existent, and previous trainers had little success with him. After his time at CharlieBar, everything changed. Angus now walks calmly on a leash, his reactivity has decreased by at least 90%, and he thrives during his daily training sessions at home. The most remarkable part of Ricardo's approach is that it goes beyond basic commands--he teaches dogs how to think, make decisions, and self-correct. It's not just about punishment or praise; it's about helping dogs understand their choices. With a simple "uh uh," Angus now stops, thinks, and chooses better behavior--without fear or confusion. We're beyond grateful for the results and highly recommend CharlieBar to anyone looking to make a lasting difference in their dog's behavior.
