Ok I don't know where to edit my last review so I'm doing it here. Ok my tire is holding air like it's supposed to now, I think. There was a piece of wire or something that was in the tire still which they located and got removed so. I think the warranty deal is 100 and will continue to do business with these guys. read more

Took my wife's bike to ER Bicycle to have a basic tune up. This became more involved than anticipated requiring replacement of the front derailleur....cool. The work was completed to our satisfaction but...but...her Arizona stem cap had been replaced with a basic black cover in the process. We contacted the store and spoke with the mgr/owner who stated the front stem wasn't touched and insisted his mechanic was a trustworthy person. That's all well and good but doesn't change the fact that while in their custody a sentimental part of her bike mysteriously disappeared. We won't be back. read more

East Ridge Bicycles has been a go-to bicycle shop for my family. They have great customer service and a wide variety of bicycles for sale. My husband had an issue with a Cervelo a few years back and Garth went above and beyond for him to help him settle a replacement. They have supported different groups in the area and are always willing to help. All of our professional bicycle fittings have been done by Garth, and it's really helped us continue to ride bicycles fast with less discomfort from the usual aging issues... As a novice, I wasn't sure what to expect. I purchased a cruiser from an independent seller, and we met at East Ridge Bicycles (neutral location) and so they could check it out for me. Chris was welcoming and friendly the whole way through. After I had purchased the bike, Chris took the time to show me features, helped me choose accessories and he even helped me load the thing into my Jeep. Seriously couldn't have been friendlier. I went in to buy new tires for my bike and have them installed. The prices were great, and they have a huge selection of every type of equipment. They brought my old faithful tri-bike back to life!!! After being hit by a car on a highway some years ago - my good old tri-bike's been hiding from the real roads on a lonely indoor trainer with a make-shift setup, fork, and wheels bent enough that when you spin them and tap the spokes - instead of an even tone, the spokes will play the notes to national anthem for you. Anyhow - I had kept this bike inside avoiding the fear of a few hundred dollars in repair to get it back up to spec... but I eventually decided to bite the bullet and bring the bike in for repair. I heard from the local bicycle and local tri communities both that East Ridge is the place to go - man were they right. The mechanics at East Ridge were cool - laid back, and optimistic. They managed to fix my bike up and get it running with just a "general bike tune-up". So now - my bike's ready for the road, even if I'm not. Just wish they had the bike shoes I want available and I'd be set! read more

In my opinion, East Ridge bikes is the best all around bike shop that I have ever been to. I have owned more bikes than I should admit, but I must say that my past purchase at this shop was GREAT! They do not pressure you into purchasing any particular brand. They listen to what you are looking for and make suggestions based on that. I went in "thinking" I wanted to purchase a gravel/adventure bike and after listening to what I intended to use it for, they recommended a mountain bike which was actually 1/2 the price of what I was prepared to pay for the gravel bike! The bike is awesome! First bike that I didn't feel the need to switch out anything. Went riding this morning and LOVE the bike!! read more

East Ridge Bicycles has been my go to bike shop for many years. Both the sales staff and the guys in the shop are very knowledgeable and friendly. On several occasions Garth and his crew have gone well out of their way to make sure that my bike was race ready. The guy that left the one star review is either on drugs or is affiliated with another bike shop in some manner. The staff at ERB simply are not capable of doing the things that were mentioned in that review. read more

Just purchased 2 new bikes and assorted accessories. This makes 7 bikes we have purchased from ERB in the past 28 years and we always come back! Their service is friendly and without any "elitist" attitude like some shops. They take the time to find out what you want/need and offer great pricing and service. When we bought or first set of bikes back in 1990, we had just moved to Atlanta and CAME BACK to buy our bikes from ERB. It was worth the trip. read more

This store has great customer service and I was able to find what I wanted at a reasonable price. I don't know a lot about bicycles other than I like riding them. Chris did a great job listening to me describe what I wanted and how I would be using it, and gave me several options at a range of prices. I felt like a respected customer even though I'm not a bike nerd and the place is staffed with folks who are clearly passionate about what they sell. So far they have fitted me for my new road bike, sold me 4 kids bikes and even took one back and sold it for me to help offset replacement. I find them honest, fair, and reliable. Great customer service. We went to look at bikes and Garth was super knowledgeable and helpful. No push salesman techniques; he offered input and full details on how and why each bike was designed the way it was. We didn't buy a bike, but will be back after doing our own research. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because of the lack of Santa Cruz demo bikes. It would be hard to buy a $4k+ bike without a full mountain bike ride to test it out. read more

This shop is simply the worst I've ever dealt with. In several states, I've done business with many bike shops and never have I had a negative experience except here. This wasn't just one occasion, either. THREE separate times, at least a year apart, I've come here and each time I walked out before buying what I needed. The owner/employees were rude, condescending, and at one point (my first visit) asked me to leave because I was "not serious," when I had actually come in with the intent of purchasing a pump. Take your business somewhere that cares about the sport, not just the profit. 1 star at best. read more
