I highly recommend this place for anyone who bought a bike off Craigslist and just needs a normal tune up without the added bicycle-guy pretension. Bring cash as Joe doesn't take credit cards. And be mindful of the very adorable storage policy - you will get charged $1 per day if you don't pick up your bike after three days of when it is ready. He does have some pretty sweet vintage Schwinns in great condition for about $150. I did take off one star because as soon as I test rode my bike, something fell off of it. BUT, Joe did get it back on in less than an hour at no charge. So...maybe just a heads up to take it for a spin down the block before you are on your merry way.

The shop is crammed to the gills true and you can't walk through it due to this but it didn't even matter. When I stopped in…read morehis shop, I told him I was from out of town (Dothan, AL), and he still spent nearly 1.5 hours answering questions and walking me through the "need to knows" of bicycle purchasing and riding. After I left his shop I e-mailed him for two weeks asking additional questions so I could choose the bicycle that was right for me. I ended up purchasing a Cannondale Catalyst 1, ONLY, because a Fuji Nevada 1.7 was not available in my size at time of search, and it was a requirement for me to stay under $550. [The local Cannondale/Trek dealer in Dothan sold me the Catalyst at his cost ($500)] I highly recommend River City Bicycles, and Ronald, if you live in the Chattanooga area, or just passing through.

When I walked in one of the 2 guys shouted hello from the register area. I proceeded to walk the entire store and looked at merchandise. I even stopped at the counter and looked because there was a helmet on the wall I was interested in. Of the three men now at the counter, no one said one word to me. I eventually turned and walked out of the store with no intentions of ever returning. Maybe I just didn't look like I needed help, maybe it's because I was a woman, or maybe it was because I'm black that I received no service. I can't really say for certain why I was ignored but it certainly wasn't because they were busy. I was the only customer in the store. I promptly told my friend who referred me that I'll never return. He's apparently had good experiences and decent service on his visits. Maybe because he rolled in on his Harley. I wasn't on my bike when I went in. I went to a different bike store and spent my $2k and received excellent service. Overall, I wouldn't recommend the store because customer service needs to be improved.

I spent quit a bit of time looking over the motorcycle merchandise. They had a great selection to choose from; everything everything from leather gloves and jewelry to chaps, helmets and patches and much more. The prices are very reasonable and they have a veteran's discount. Do you have patches that need to be sewn on or are you looking for patches? Not only do they sell a great selection of patches, they can sew them on for you. They also have a machine that can sew patches on pockets which is rare. It is great to have this store in town and if you ride, I recommend you give them a try.

Not even a hello or acknowledgment that I entered their store. Anyway, enough about the other store... I received what I was looking for from Fleet Feet. They let me jog outside to test out the shoes. They spent like 45 minutes with -measuring my feet and giving me suggestions. I asked for the most inexpensive shoes that would provide great support for my short distance running (currently up to a mile). Davis enthusiastically brought out 6 different pair. He didn't have the "man-I've-really gotta-sell-so-I-can-make-good-commission" face either. It seemed like he genuinely wanted to help me. I ended up buying socks along with my new Hoka running shoes. Great customer service! I'll be back for my next pair.

Such a beautiful nature park! We love coming here to ride our bikes and enjoy the outdoors with our…read moredog. This park is well maintained, with restroom facilities, and offers easy hiking trails, paved paths to jog, walk, cycle, or push strollers. Keep in mind that if you walk on the area where vehicles can drive on, all pedestrians are supposed to be on a certain side of the road. Just follow all the signage and instructions around the park. The park staff are friendly, and it's nice that maps are provided in the welcome center as well as select map stations around the park. A police vehicle is stationed at the front and is occasionally seen patrolling the park. Another neat park feature of the park is the bunkers! We've found at least one open to view inside. Supposedly, the bunkers were used to store TNT. The cherry on top to this park, though, is the newly added dog park, Barks and Tails. Our dog LOVES it, and so do we. Enterprise South Nature Park is really wonderful and an easy place to enjoy a fun filled outing.

Whenever you go the parking lot may be quite full. You definitely won't be the only one there. Poe Run Path is only for pedestrians is the trail I decided to take after seeing the bikers on a different trail. The bikers trails looked liked fun. There is also a business office open to the public. There you can find assistance and restrooms.
