I love my car, I even named her.. she's everything to me and we are closely connected. I don't just hand her off to anyone but after hearing about Royal Collision's work from a friend, and reading their amazing reviews online, I decided to meet with them and see what they could do to get things right again for me. I walked in and I was greeted by the young girl (I forgot her name, sorry!) at the front desk and then introduced to Sergio. They both know cars and it was easy for me to tell that Sergio was enthusiastic about the car scene and wanting to help me. The lobby was clean and they have coffee and water to hold you over through the stress. Sergio quickly came out to look at my car and drew up a quote for me. I asked him to re-apply Xpel clear bra on the front bumper of the car since the previous installation would have to be removed. I found the quote to be fair for the level of service, attention to detail, and impeccable work they do. It was the first and ONLY quote I received for my car.. I left him the keys and requested to please keep my car inside the garage and not outside so that Houston's heat wouldn't do a number on my leather in the 2 weeks I waited for the car's return. During this time, Sergio would always call me to keep me updated on the car's progress. I was in Miami and he gave me a call with photos to tell me that the shop who installed my carbon fiber splitters and front lip did so incorrectly causing damage to the bumper. What I appreciated was that he never tried to upsell me - I could have left it as it was because he told me it wouldn't show once the accessories were put back on but it would if I were ever to remove them to sell the car. I told him to fix it. Joe, the owner of Royal Collision, is a stand up, professional guy. Everything about him just oozes ... perfection. He wants his work perfect and he wants his clients happy. Which is why when the owner of that previous shop called him to speak about the work they had done he stood up for me despite being friends with them. He also personally explained the situation which I appreciated because I know he's very busy. I just got the car back today, as promised within the 2 weeks timeframe. IT LOOKS AMAZING. THEY WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND. JOE, SERGIO, THE GIRL AT THE FRONT, AND ROYAL COLLISION - I couldn't be happier. It looks perfect. The paint is an exact match, the Xpel is done flawlessly, and my accessories were put on perfectly. The front parking sensors work awesome. 0 stars. This was the worst body shop experience ever. They are extremely sexist & just flat out…read moreliars. I've been working with the service advisor, Tomas, since April 5. Not only did they not complete all of the repairs to my vehicle but I was quoted a price by Tomas for other repairs. Later, when the work wasn't done, I spoke with the manager Sam and he essentially said, "because Tomas didn't document it, it didn't happen, therefore we will not honor it." He then quoted me a price that was over $200 more. Obviously prices change by the day here and is at their discretion whether they honor a price, or document a conversation. I know this may seem like an angry rant, but I actually work for the insurance company that my car is insured by, and I know how these things work. I chose this body shop because I thought they did quality work, and while they are not the cheapest body shop, I thought they did great repairs. I've obviously been proven wrong. **Updated review -- I still wouldn't go back. The work that was done, I can honestly say, was done right. My custom colored Firenze Red Jaguar SVR was blended perfectly, but there were other things on my estimate that they didn't even take a second look at. The manager Sam was nice but at the end of the day there was no real resolve. They sided with the employee, (which is understandable from a business aspect,) but not at the expense of calling your document having, customer a liar. What's most disturbing is that because Tomas didn't document the multiple conversations that we had, the manager essentially wrote off anything that I said because he didn't document the conversation. If you choose this body shop, PLEASE get everything you do in writing. Every phone call, every voicemail, make them send you email correspondence. That's probably the only way you will not get cheated.

When I received the paperwork to see the cost they charged the insurance, it was half of the price they quoted me. They charged the insurance around 50$ per hour for labor, and quoted me around 75$. Material prices were also different, therefore they pull out prices from thin air. Next issue was the very poor quality of work they did. I have a white car and they didn't clean it properly after painting and before sealing it. So dust and dirt got trapped underneath the sealer. I had the smallest scratches possible and for them to fail at doing a proper job is very unfortunate. I would never ever recommend this place or take my car again to this place.

I was given the option to have it fixed or be given a touch up. I chose a touch up because I was ready to have my car back but I appreciated the option. I really appreciated the smooth process from drop off to pick up and the ease of communication with my insurance company and the rental car company through River Oaks Paint and Body.

Donny V prepared my estimate and worked with me to get the work I wanted done. I was told the work should be done in one work week and it was. I dropped the car off on Monday and picked it up midday on Friday. Mercedes at the front desk is very helpful with scheduling, status of the work, etc. And she will work with Enterprise to have a loner car brought to you, and have it picked up at V&V when your car is ready. I would definitely recommend V&V for auto body repairs.
