My car needed a brake part that was unavailable nationwide, I asked for the part number and spent time trying to find a solution. I found an amazing parts fabricator, I had to pick up the broken part and Uber it to the fabricator, Uber to pick up the part, and take it to Hay Tire Pros. A month later my car was chiming with brake light and message that the brake fluid was low. I was on my way for an urgent appointment. I called them at 7am, 3 calls, no answer, left an urgent message. They never returned my call. Drove in a panic to an auto parts store, purchased the brake fluid, there was zero brake fluid in the car. I believe they replaced the part I'd had fabricated and did not add brake fluid. No one had mentioned this during the full hour I was sitting there. I said never mind and asked for my keys, and then they couldn't find them. Apparently the technician had taken my keys with him to get gas. Eventually they returned them and I left. I drove straight to Jiffy Lube and ten minutes later my oil change was done. Zero out of ten. I would never go back to Firestone.

Do not provide business to Affordable Tire and Auto Service…read more It pains me to write this review after a year and a half of good service at Affordable Tire and Auto Service. After replacing all four brakes and attempting to diagnose a steering wheel wobble over a few visits, I noticed damage to the underside of my vehicle. My vehicle is a full-size Ford Transit commercial van and it was obvious that someone jacked it up on the body welds where you would lift a minivan or small car, denting it. In the most cordial manner possible, I brought this to the attention of Martin, understanding that mishaps happen. He maintained a position that his shop was not at fault for the damage. I demonstrated that his floor jack fit into the dent. I have pictures of the underside of my vehicle before the damage occurred and the vehicle was not serviced anywhere else for over a year. There is no reasonable explanation other than the damage occurring by them. Begrudgingly, Martin agreed to have my vehicle repaired. The next few weeks went by with many unreturned voice messages and texts, and finally a visit to a body shop of his choosing that turned down the job. The second body shop he sent me to provided a quote which I promptly sent to Martin to review. Another few weeks went by with difficulty reaching him. At no point did he ever try to initiate any contact to move towards a resolution. When I got back in touch with Martin over a month had gone by since bringing the issue to his attention. In order to try to bring the matter to conclusion, and avoid having my van tied up for weeks at the body shop, I offered to reach a settlement for an amount below the estimate. This angered him and he seemed to think this whole matter was some kind of scam. A week before my appointment to drop off the vehicle for repair I received a call from the body shop informing me I needed to provide a deposit for half of the amount. When I told them Affordable Tire would be responsible for the cost they further recommended they pay the entire quote in advance to avoid any problems releasing the vehicle to me when it is completed (the repair cost was relatively small in terms of body work). For the next several days both the body shop and myself tried to reach Martin with none of the texts or voicemails getting answered. When I reached him he was upset that a deposit was required and was unwilling to pay the total in advance. On a follow-up call he told me the deposit was taken care of. The morning I dropped off the car the body shop told me the deposit still was not paid. I got Martin on the phone and he personally came to the body shop in anger. He had a position that he has a special relationship with the body shop and didn't think he should pay anything in advance but eventually put the 50% deposit down. On the service paperwork I wrote "to be paid by Affordable Tire and Auto Service" and kindly asked Martin to initial it. To this he became irate and totally refused to put anything in writing. Eventually he stormed out saying "I ain't signing nothing!" In shock at these events, I had to go sit in my car to decide what to do. With the past as a guide, I can only expect further frustration dealing with Martin and it's not worth the hassle. I profusely apologized to the staff at the body shop and left with my van. With Martin's unwillingness to put the agreement in writing I am forced to explore either small claims court or start an insurance claim which will seek damages on their business liability coverage. It's worth mentioning in this saga that the repair estimate was not very high, about the same amount I paid Affordable Tire to get four brakes done. This makes it particularly sad because my motivation was not to recoup money, it was to give them an opportunity to make things right and hopefully continue using their service. Do not provide business to Affordable Tire and Auto Service.

I was having battery and possibly alternator issues. So I dropped it off, asked that all the fluids be topped off, tires rotated and balanced because I have bought new tires there for the last 5 years. I wanted them to assess what the problem was, but when I picked my vehicle up, nothing had been done but a new battery was put in. Tires weren't rotated, fluids not filled. I am 98% sure the vehicle never moved from the parking spot I put it in the day before. They said the alternator and battery/cables were fine. The vehicle was 'fixed'. I was charged $250+ for a $150 battery I could have installed myself however, that was a punch in the stomach. Next I realized that my headlights were not working, so I brought it back. An entire day later they called and said 'this is out of our expertise to fix'. Again picking up my vehicle it had not been moved. Mind blowing incompetence! I took my truck to a different garage who my friend knows. He informed me I overpaid for the battery. The negative battery cable needed to be replaced and the alternator was not returning enough power to the battery. The employees at NTB/Mavis were young, inexperienced, and incapable of communicating effectively. I will never bring my truck here again EVER! U have completely lost ALL of my business permanently.
