My '93 Lightning's A/C failed. As a long time customer I immediately called and made an appointment. When I arrived early the problem was quickly diagnosed and a repair quote was offered. I agreed and parts were ordered. Were it not for the parts supplier's inventory error I would have been on the road in very short order. Additional searching yielded the necessary part and the repair was completed. As with my many other visits I was completely satisfied with the service, the friendly and knowledgeable associates and in my opinion a reasonable cost which included an extended warranty. Simply doesn't get any better. Service you can trust!!

We do not have any employees fluent in Spanish at this time but we are looking for another great mechanic and a QC assistant so hopefully soon.

Predatory Practices, Negligence, and Vehicle Held Hostage…read more2ND Unsatisfied Customer Service Complaint- 1st Time in May 2026 I am a Senior disabled Air Force Veteran on a fixed income, and my experience with Christian Brothers Automotive in Goose Creek involves predatory business practices, deceptive billing, and withholding my personal asset. In May 2026, I paid this facility a final invoice total of $3,345.12 for valve cover and gasket work. In their formal written response to the South Carolina state authorities under Complaint ID C26-05334, the shop owner explicitly admitted on the record that they knew my vehicle entered their facility with active Cylinder 1 misfire codes (P0301). Yet, they charged me thousands of dollars, dismantled my engine, and knowingly reinstalled that identical, pre-existing failing Cylinder 1 ignition coil back into my engine block without correcting it.When the vehicle predictably suffered a severe engine shaking failure less than 900 miles later, they towed it back to their shop under the guise of their "Nice Difference Warranty." Instead of honoring the warranty on the exact engine zone they handled, they hit me with a separate, unapproved $331.88 diagnostic invoice (#48960). Because I exercised my legal consumer right to DECLINE the unapproved repairs, this facility is now actively refusing to release my 2003 Jaguar S-Type to my insurance carrier's flatbed tow truck. They are physically holding a disabled veteran's primary asset hostage in their parking lot over a disputed, unapproved fee.My file is under active review with Navy Federal Credit Union's Executive Compliance/CFPB team (Case CAS-2505711-C1S7H3) where the $3,345.12 transaction is heavily disputed under Visa Quality of Service network rules [260824-37401429, CAS-2505711-C1S7H3]. The shop has signed their own admission of mechanical negligence to the state, and I am writing this public warning to advise every senior, veteran, and consumer in the area to stay completely away from this dishonest lot.

I LOVE Low Country Mag & Tire! They have been my choice of mechanic for years, seen me and my…read morehusband through a few different cars of various makes, and always provide the same amazing service, friendly care, and best prices. They really try to help you make the most of your money, sourcing parts or letting you provide your own, comparison shopping on your behalf, things other places would never bother to take the time to do. They have solved mysteries, like when my husband's external temperature gauge would think it was -40* because it was raining. And when it's -40*, the AC won't work. Self-protection, you see. But uh, it's South Carolina, it's 89*, and it's raining. He needs some AC. The car manufacturer had never HEARD such a thing. We figured a bad sensor so we brought it to LCM&T and they found the sensor was GONE and two bare wires were shorting out. They capped em off, no charge, since we had been in the week before with an engine stutter that turned out to be burning oil. When it rains, it pours. And your AC won't work. Until LCM&T fixes your stupid sensor LOL I took my car on a long lonesome road trip and they prepped it for me beforehand as if I were their own child, checking everything twice to make sure I would be safe there and back. They care for their customers like nobody else. This place is a genuine small-town treasure, serving our community in such a vital way. They are my go-to and they should be yours. I hope they continue their excellent standard of care to the autos and their drivers for decades to come. It's hard to find a place like this, with heart and soul, anymore. I am a forever customer.

Asked if they needed to look at my vehicle to see what else was needed because I know I was gonna need an alignment too. They said no to just come back the next day. Went in and was told I needed to come back the next day as they needed to order more parts but still put my tires on without an alignment. A little over $1600 and two whole days wasted. Yesterday I was driving home from work when one of my brand new $173 tire blew. I took it back to the shop being as it hadn't even been 30 days. I got told that bad things happen and that there was no warranty for the tires I got. If I wanted a new one I would have to buy yet another tire. Years of business down the drain but with the new management the whole company has gone under. Wouldn't even recommend this 'repair' shop to my worst enemy

I called AAA and they estimated their expedited response would be 1:30 am. Life360 roadside couldn't send a tow unless I knew where to have it towed. Being from out of town I had no idea where to tow it. Got on Yelp, called Davidson Towing and he answered right away, told me not to worry he'd be there in 20-30 mins. He arrived as promised, got my car on the flatbed and took it back to his shop to be kept overnight. He has a calm and reassuring demeanor which was much appreciated. He took at look at the obvious culprits for my car breaking down and wasn't able to spot anything so he worked the next day to find a solution but wasn't able to. (We took it to Chevy and they couldn't either - something electrical that we hope was just a loose terminal to the battery which was tightened.) Thank you Dustin for rescuing me - much appreciated!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!…read more Dustin and his "uncle" have swindled me out of about $2000 indicating that they could service an engine that they could not service. Then convincing me to buy a new engine that they installed. When the car overheated, Dustin gave wrong advice on how to keep the car from overheating. And we are now having to get every seal replaced in the newer engine. Bolts were missing, including all for the motor mount. I am now having to spend that money again to get the engine repaired. Edited to remove the he said she said but still would like to know why he cared what her parents (me and her dad) do for a living... STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS GUY AND COMPANY! Take this for what it's worth - if you want a response after he does crappy work and blocks you, a review is the only way to get a response from him. Maybe he could call and discuss this like a reputable company instead of asking his uncle for permission to take accountability and make a refund. Dustin - My messages show that I picked it up on 2/2 and on 2/3 my daughter texted that she was broke down on the side of the road. Your response was that you would pick it up with your tow truck. On the 5th you picked it up. On 2/7 you recommended wiring the car to have fans in at all times because he couldn't get them to turn on when the temp hits "210" degrees. As far as waiting this long to write a review, I have had it in the shop for a month getting seals placed, and bolts added that were neglected on your part, Dustin. I'm still waiting on the total so expect in the next month an update with a total of how much your inadequacies cost me.
