I was able to schedule and they got me in within a few days. (They are a busy Shop) They were able to flush fluid, replace filter, service front and rear diff's and found a rubber seal was bad that they had replaced no charge. Since having the girl back, She shift perfect, buttery smooth, transmission code went away which was most likely to oil being abit low, dirty or bad sensors but they found sensor was good. Car is running like a champ and will use them again on my other vehicles if i can not do it myself. Thank You Paul and Team.. Nevermind the 1 negative comment. If you know your cars and take care of them when they need it, you will understand how they work and who to blame in Joe W case above. Aint the Shops fault.

The Worst of the Worst…read more I'm from Pennsylvania and was new to New Jersey when my clutch went out on my car. I didn't know any good mechanics so I took a chance with this guy. First, he demanded a deposit to buy parts of $900, then he never bought the parts and I had to, $700 worth. He refused to give back the deposit. Then he took more than seven weeks to return the car to me. He charged me a $100/hr labor rate, more than any other shop around. His labor total ended up being $1250. He wasn't going to warranty anything unless I paid the balance in cash. In the end, he gave me a hand written "Limited" warranty, whatever "Limited" means. Beware.

He asked when I needed the car back, and when I asked how long it would take, he told me it would be ready by 1:30 PM. We exchanged information, and I left the car there. Around 1:30 PM, I called to check if the car was ready, and he told me to give him another 20 minutes. I said okay and left my house shortly after to pick it up. When I arrived, he told me everything was good, I paid cash, and went home. The very next day, while driving to work on I-78, I noticed the car did not feel right. Over the next several days, it continued driving poorly. On Wednesday, May 13th, I took my car to Hudson Nissan for another wheel alignment because they use alignment sensors during inspection. I explained the recent work that had been done. During their inspection, they discovered that the front driver-side tie rod had been overheated to the point that the metal became brittle and damaged. At no point did Herbie Auto contact me to explain they were having difficulty performing the alignment or that additional repairs might be needed. After leaving Nissan, I went to my regular mechanic, who confirmed that the tie rods now need to be replaced before another alignment can even be performed. I understand that issues can happen during repairs, but the lack of communication and the damage caused to my vehicle is unacceptable. I trusted them with my car and now have to pay significantly more money to repair the damage and redo the alignment properly.
