Richard was one of five builders I contacted in the area. One of them, a more well-known name…read morelocally, dismissed my project as something they were "too busy" to take on. Although Richard's quote wasn't initially the lowest, his vision aligned closely with mine from the beginning. He collaborated with me and improved on my initial design, always focused on enhancing the final result. He also suggested practical ways to manage costs--like having me purchase certain furnishings--without compromising the quality or look I wanted thus providing a finished product well below every other quote I was provided by others. Admittedly the project was unique as a hidden speakeasy, but he approached it as something fun and unique. In the end, I can't imagine any of the other builders delivering the same level of craftsmanship and commitment to the original vision that Richard did.

Joe came in and took measurements and we discussed what type of shelving we would like and what color we would like it to be. He also suggested a spice rack for the back of the pantry door. He gave us a quote that I felt was very fair and within a week we had new shelves, a spice rack and a very organized pantry. I would say the best thing is his attention to detail. For me projects are about the details and he gets them right.

Huge shout-out to Yelp and the "Projects" feature!…read more I recently had a new fence installed, and unfortunately, the installers nicked a pipe, covered up a couple of sprinklers, and left me needing repairs ASAP. I submitted a request through Yelp Projects, and several companies responded. I LOVE this feature! The first company I contacted through Facebook Marketplace quoted me $1,270! I told them I wasn't about to let them bust me up and leave me leaking! After scheduling a few appointments through Yelp, C&L came out at 1:30 p.m. and sent Damien. He assessed the situation, gave me a fair price, and I accepted on the spot. I canceled my other appointments because I knew I had found the right person. Let me tell you, this young man has SKILLS! I watched him work, and this guy is a PRO! He got everything squared away faster than he originally estimated, used less equipment than expected, AND still had time to fine-tune my sprinklers. Damien didn't just do the job; he took pride in his work and made sure everything was taken care of. That kind of service deserves recognition! C&L, give this man a raise! Better yet, make him a trainer and have him teach your team how to deliver that same level of service. If you keep employees like Damien on your team, you'll never be short on customers! I highly recommend C&L! And Damien, if management is reading this, I hope they know what an asset you are to their company. Great service, fair pricing, and a job well done. What more can you ask for?
