I had a great experience with Rubricx Pavers…read more Interviewed three well recommended companies for installing a paver driveway. Rubricx was the most expensive bid, but I got the distinct impression that the others would rush the job and were cutting corners, especially with regards to foundation preparation. Last thing I want is to spend money and find myself with problems a few years down the line. Joseph was very responsive and took the time to discuss all my concerns with me. I wasn't disappointed with my decision. The crew was great and did first rate work, responsive to my idea about installing a catch basin to be able to capture debris as part of the drainage system modifications, and generally went above and beyond. The driveway turned out beautifully. As I said, perhaps a bit more expensive, but if you are someone who cares about quality and value for your money, I highly recommend.

The owner John & each employee really were so precise to detail & this was a very large project that we had called several companies on that wanted much more money for the job. They actually showed up early for the job, took great care of our property and also gave some great suggestions to help my husband in completion of this project. Great people with great work ethics! After three years in our new house we could no longer tolerate the concrete driveway and walkway…read morethat were riddled with cracks and stains. It was time for pavers. We met with and got estimates from three contractors. All had installed pavers for neighbors and all had received high marks. We chose Justin Canova of Moderna Pavers because he was direct, professional, and fairly priced. He inspired confidence. From start to finish throughout the project, Justin was a pleasure to work with. He is helpful and 100% reliable, something that cannot often be said of contractors. The pavers were delivered on time, in the right color and quantity. His crew installed them perfectly and in record time. What's more, they cleaned up thoroughly before leaving. Justin delivers an outstanding experience and product.

I noticed some sunken spots in the driveway and called Moderna a week ago to see about repairs. An answering service picked up during regular business hours and I left a message for them to call me. No one bothered to call back. I'm disappointed in the fact that the driveway has sunk in spots and more so that the company couldn't even return the call. Follow up is just as important as the main job at least to me it is. I have another company coming out to give me a repair estimate. Update: I am upgrading my review as the issue was a communication issue through a third party. Justin was willing to come out and do the repair with no hesitation. Just about every contractor out there is backed up with projects due to COVID and Moderna was no different so to leave the poor review was not appropriate since it was a poor communication issue.
