Long overdue review! Birken Flooring was my intro into home renovation services. My realtors…read morecompany have a great relationship with Steve from Birken Flooring and his brother is with Birken Construction. Steve is the type of contractor you dream of meeting- honest, insightful and knows the business and all the connecting companies to do anything in general contracting. They have done plenty of residential work over the years and some big ticket venues like remodeling the Jags locker room, or renovating the bathrooms at the Jacksonville Symphony. AND MORE! Steve handled my flooring and gave me so many recommendations for other projects- from electrical to plumbing to where to find the best countertops! I've come to rely on "Steve the floor guy" recommendations! So- my floors! They only use quality products- we went with a wood laminate ProGen - Cerused Oak POWDER, 20 mil. As Steve put it- you could drop a bowling ball on it and it won't be damaged. It's also waterproof! This brand is highly recommended among reputable flooring companies. We didn't touch the bathrooms (they are tiled) but ripped up all the carpet and the tile in the kitchen and the entryway. I love my floors! Steve also had his "best tile" guys redo my fireplace with a weathered brick I bought from Floor & Decor. During renovations before we moved in Steve and I would just stand and stare at the beautiful fireplace once it was finished! It reminded him of his childhood home~ lovely sentiments. We have been in the house since February and still call Steve for recommendations and for work! His tiling guy will be doing my kitchen backsplash soon! Steve said to me- we treat our employees well and then they do exceptional work and our customers spread the word about our business. Birken Flooring isn't found on Google except for the business licensing- no website, just word of mouth! That's a true compliment to his work~ Highly Recommend!

Exceeded our expectations in every respect. Keith Sheets designed and built the most amazing…read moreaddition. We wanted a room built around a 16' SwimSpa which was a challenging project which several other builders were unable to even quote us because they didn't know how to build the vault to sink the spa 3 feet below ground level and creat a trap floor deck to allow access to the mechanics. Keith knew exactly what we needed and promptly put together a beautiful de sign that included a proper dehumidifier, fan to vent fumes and an external heat pump so we can heat the spa more efficiently (and it cools the water too!). Every aspect of his design was perfect! Our addition is stunning. Once we moved the exercise equipment into the addition, Keith had his team reconfigure one of the bedrooms that was on a split hallway from our main bedroom so it now opens into our main bedroom. This leaves us with two private guest rooms and a guest bath adding a walk-in dressing room off the main bedroom. It is so amazing - the closet space we now have is enviable. His main crew Jimmy and Mike are master craftsmen who not only build your dream but are super nice and wonderful to work with. We are so thankful we found Keith and his team and highly highly highly recommend this Company and Crew. He kept us in the loop throughout the project (via text and calls), explained every step of the permit process in a way we could easily understand, worked hard to get the project done even with some supply chain delays and was wonderful with add-ons and changes my spouse came up with during the project. We can't say enough good things about Keith and are so fortunate we found this amazing company to do our remodel. They really are Remodeling Pros!

If you want to work with a company that is truly professional, call Royal Crown and More. When we decided to have crown molding installed in our entire home, we contacted 4 companies for bids. All 4 companies were well reviewed, reputable organizations. Russell from Royal Crown came to our home to measure the rooms for which the molding was to be installed. Russell was the only 1 of the 4 companies providing bids to walk us through the process steps from our taking down things like pictures and such to their post-completion warranty. The process explained to us is 100% of how their installing our crown molding happened. Short and sweet, Royal Crown and More are true professionals. Russell and his team were friendly, courteous, and did an amazing job. We cannot see a seam in the crown molding whether along a wall, an inside corner, or outside corner. They cleaned up after the job as well as any professional cleaning service would do. We have found no sanding dust, saw dust, paint drips, etc. They even cleaned our driveway where they cut the molding. No sawdust visible in the driveway. My wife and I pride ourselves on doing remodeling jobs ourselves. Installing crown molding is not one that we care to tackle. Royal Crown and More is a marriage saving company. Had we tackled this ourselves, we would have to buy significantly more molding due to mistakes, repair drywall due to the process, buy a 55 gallon drum for our curse jar, enlist the help of a marriage counsellor, and potentially divorce lawyers. The rooms in our home now are finished with the crown molding being the frosting on the cake. Thank you Crown Molding and More for what you have done to our home.
