After evaluating my Ford I was told that there was a Technical Bulletin that came out from Ford several years ago. I am impressed that they did the research to evaluate my car. They told me I did NOT NEED A TRANSMISSION. I only needed an update on the vehicle computer. Here's the numbers. Ford wanted $3500 for a rebuilt transmission. A new transmission was $6000. Final cost at Scotty's $150 to evaluate $250 to upload the new software Total $400.00 Can't say enough good things about this place. Talk about trusting a Mecanic!!! You need to understand the businesses today , when it comes to getting parts , right now it's very slow shipping and harder to get any parts for cars . It's not their fault if parts are hard to get and taking longer than usual. Only commenting on this because seen some people complaining about it. Both Juniors can really fix everything. Great place to trust with your cars . They are rocking good . Keep up the good work guys from G & C. Ignore those pain in the ass customers that don't want to understand how business used to be and how slow business run this days in the whole country because of the pandemic EVERYTHING SLOWED DOWN , INCLUDING GETTING PARTS . G and C are quick once their pats arrived . So complainers don't complaint so much . Be glad to have a good mechanic shop around your neighborhood. William Blue 65 Bug.

I'm writing this review as a former employee who wants to offer insight for potential customers…read more During my time working at this mechanic shop, I witnessed several troubling practices that customers deserve to be aware of. There were instances where parts were charged for but never actually installed. In some cases, unnecessary parts were sold to customers who didn't need them, and at times, the work billed was not fully completed. These practices were not isolated or accidental--they happened frequently enough to be considered routine. Additionally, the shop often lacked qualified technicians to perform repairs properly. Corners were cut, and customer vehicles did not always receive the level of care and attention they deserved. I'm sharing this to encourage others to ask questions, request to see the old parts that were "replaced," and to get second opinions if something doesn't feel right. Your safety and your wallet are worth protecting!
