I was told to come pick it up. That was not the solution I was looking for so the person I was talking to cancelled my order. I checked on it the next day and it hadn't been cancelled and I haven't been refunded. I called again. Dennis Company said I needed to cancel the order on my end. They lied and deflected the blame. Terrible customer service all around for what should have been a very simple transaction. I want to support a local business but I won't shop at the Dennis Company or ACE ever again.

Patrick was working the paint counter. My husband was with me, and wearing two hats. Patrick asked him why he was wearing two. My husband provide an unintelligent answer as he has Alzheimer's. I tried to mouth that to Patrick but I wasn't successful. However, I have the words 'He has Alzheimer's, but gets upset if I say it to other people' typed into notes in my phone for these situations, so I showed it to Patrick. I had grabbed the wrong type of paint for the color I wanted, so Patrick went and brought me what I really needed, and tinted and mixed it for me. We, including my husband, had a very nice conversation while waiting for the paint. When it was finished, he congratulated my husband on the Chiefs' Super Bowl win (his hats), and thanked me for showing him the color match in my phone, to cover for me in case my husband saw me showing him something in my phone Thank you, Patrick, for your extra kindness and courtesy toward my husband and me. And extra Kudos for the phone statement! Nice touch.

Some of the younger people have been helpful. They are also outrageously priced. For twice as much as most other places you would at least think they would be helpful or even nice for that matter.
