The people taking donations are some of the most incompetent people I think I've ever seen. Wanted to donate some things today, 10-21-24 after work 4:45ish. There were 4 cars in line before me, so instead of blocking the entrance to the actual "Goodwill" store side I decided to pull in front. I let every car go first before me that had been there prior, and when it was my turn I got out to explain I had some things to donate (in the mean time as the cars that were there before me started leaving, new cars were pulling up in their spot). The woman working seemed very confused, and informed me that "I can't take your stuff, you need to turn around and go to the back if this line." Like I had not been parked there the entire time. She was extremely flustered and for the life of her couldn't understand why my car was in front. NOT ROCKET SCIENCE LADY! I guess this teaches me something though trying to donate things. There needs to be some serious training basic training, or atleast a competencey test I guess. I was simply not trying to block the sliding doors to the entrance of the actual shop area by pulling foward. I'll find somewhere else to donate my things, this place is a joke, if you want to donate something save yourself the headache and avoid. read more

I love this store and employees! The only reason I didn't give it a ***** rating - some products are priced WAAAY too high. But on Fridays there's a FaceBook coupon every week that offers 25% off $25-. That helps. The clothing racks are PACKED - lots to choose from!! The store is well-maintained and orderly. read more

I have never seen a store with so many rude workers in my life let alone you can't take in something to pass out so that people can get free clothing for their kids and free backpacks without somebody snatching the thing out of your hand rudely I've never seen a worker do that before in my entire life I don't know what you guys are doing but maybe you should do better training. read more

A brand new Goodwill, opened in June 2012. Big, clean, and spacious! The only downside is that it's so new that there aren't a lot of great deals or markdowns. There were no half-off discounts for a certain color tag, and no grand opening specials. A lot of the merchandise seems to be clearance stock from Target and other stores, so there's not as much of the vintage and quirky, though I'm sure this will change as donations come in and the stock turns over. If you're in Aberdeen, you should go. What else are you going to do there? read more

Without a doubt, this Goodwill store is more like a department store, with an incredible amount of different items to choose from. We were on a camping trip and had an accident on a hike, and needed a cane. We looked up a Yelp recommendation, and PRESTO, at the Aberdeen Goodwill we had a choice! I shopped there today. The good news is that the store is very clean, organized, lots of inventory, and has large dressing rooms. The bad news is that when I asked to use a dressing room, I was refused. This was ONE HOUR and 30 MINUTES before the store was due to close. I was told the dressing rooms were already closed so the staff would have time to clean them. I was told I could either try on my clothes in the middle of the store (over my own clothes of course!), where there's a mirror, or buy them, take them home, and return the ones that didn't fit tomorrow. This is probably a staffing thing--there was one cashier, Emily, who was a real sweetheart, there was a person who said she was the manager for that time of day, and I think the person who said "no English" when I asked her if she could help me, was also an employee. But really, a clothing store that won't let you try on the clothes?! Why can't they leave ONE of the 8 dressing rooms available? read more

I purchased a Tom Tom GPS from Aberdeen Goodwill after it finally opened from the shut down and went to my car to check it out, mind you it was about 10 mins and the Tom Tom did not work....I went back into the store to get a refund and was told " we are not refunding at this time due to the virus" I said, but your taking donations...yes but we have them in warehouse for 72 hrs. ....I said but you can refund my money and put into warehouse for 72 hrs. This GW wasn't in Aberdeen the last time I drove through. Good think I stopped at Top Food & Drug and saw it across the way in the parking lot. I went on a weekend so they had double color tags (50% one and $1.29 for the other color). I agree that some of the same was a little empty, like in furniture and the selection was a little wierd in the artwork section as well as toys and furniture. But I was really surprised at their men's selection. There were so many shorts and jeans in my size AND this GW knows how to move merchandise with those prices. There wasn't hardly anything that I bought that was over $6 and mind you I got some 1/2 off and $1.29 stuff too. Well, I lie....I bought a very nice quality juicer for $8.99. I mean...come on....$9 for a almost brand new juicer!!!! The staff was friendly and there seemed to be an abundance of staff putting out a lot of new stuff. Again, I found the prices really really reasonable prices and good selection for what I was looking for. read more

I usually donate here, but don't shop here. I had an hour to kill so I decided to check it out. I was impressed! The best looking Goodwill I have ever seen. I tried on a couple pairs of jeans, couldn't find one to fit, oh well, but I have decided no more shopping for jeans at high end stores, I'm coming to Goodwill for jeans! They had a very nice book section, almost as good as the famous "you know who they are" book stores. The DVD section was a little weak. Didn't see any DVD's I'd want to buy even though I donated four yesterday. On the other hand, if you need cheap dishes for your RV, good place to buy cheap dishes and pots and pans, and even wine glasses. Plenty of room to park an RV! Although it's easier if you are going East on US Highway 12 as opposed to West, because it can be a busy street and if you are going West, you have to turn left to get into the parking lot. Little dicey to turn left. read more

Goodwill needs to bring more stuff down from their other collection points. The offerings at this new store are weird. Not your typical Goodwill stuff. The space seems a little empty. I'm sure they'll get it sometime soon, but right now it's a rough start. read more

I have found a few bargains here as far as furniture. Stuff you can repurpose. The Christmas stuff is AWESOME. I bought over half of my Christmas decor stuff here. Mind you, I will spray paint anything... some of it is dated, but if you are handy with paint and stuff, you can find some fun stuff. read more

Used to love going in and looking thru the old silverware to find different patterns i liked or to match to a pattern that i have. They have just started putting them in bags of 4 pieces to force you to buy the junk silverware that they cant give away -- too bad i wont be back read more

Visiting from Lacey and needed to stop on our way home from Ocean Shores. An avid thrift shopper myself, I had to check it out! It's HUGE! Lots of inventory, the racks were tight with selections. Had to use the restroom but when I asked for a key from a cashier she said that it was "stolen". I asked if I could use the men's instead but she refused to let me because it wasn't unisex. I had to go find another place. Completely ridiculous. If your women's restroom isn't open then let your customers use the men's. Never going here again. read more

I shopped for the first time at the new Aberdeen Goodwill store today. The selection was extremely of poor quality goods. Most items had the look of something worn completely out and next to holes. There is a clothing bank for that kind of worn out good or a garbage bin. The back section of the store had stuffed animals and kitchen, house wares. My eyes began to pus up from something. It made it un-shoppable. I dare not touch my eyes in there. I hope the store can get better donations and clean that back section or at least vent the area. Not sure when I will go back, if ever. The prices were not great at $8 for most un abused goods at average, and 6 for visibly worn, 3 for garbage. I realize that it is second hand, but most looked like 8th hand, including spider webs, blood and vomit stains on some. I did find a few tee's and camp clothes with the tags from store still on, but paid the higher price of $8 for them. Hoping that If and when I am in the market for some low budget goods, I can at least venture back to the area of choice, without needing an air-mask... To note, There are also Ross and Marshall's adjacent to this store with prices close to this used store, but in new condition. I will update my review upon a return time. read more
