It's a beach town gift shop loaded with stuff to buy that you don't really need. Unless you like cheap kids toys or beachy type clothing there's not much there. We went in for their selection of salt water taffy. We like to get taffy when we come. There's not much to say because there's probably ten stores just like it in the Shores. read more

We enjoyed this gift shop whenever we come to Ocean Shores. The iconic shark mouth you enter thru is fun for the kids and the selection inside has something for everyone. Gave my kid a budget of $10 and he was able to find something satisfactory with a very kind staff person who helped him look at prices and showed him things he might like in his price range. Had I given him $20, he probably could have gotten just about any toy in the store so I think the pricing is good too. Got myself a mug, magnet, and my kid the sweatshirt with the shark with sunglasses and a matching shirt, loved that they had those in bright pink too. We like stopping in here and always feel welcomed and it's nice not to have to be self conscious of my overly friendly autistic 7 year old who wants to talk the staff's ears off, they were thrilled to help him. read more

I feel like this place is just your average tourist spot. They had a good amount of merchandise, clothing and swimwear. I think the part that stood out to me the most was the variety of different sizes. I believe I saw sizes all the way up to 5x. read more

My kids had such a great first experience they kept asking when we'd be going back for over a year after that visit. When we told them we were going as part of our two daughters' birthday adventures 6 months ago, they were thrilled. This is a fun souvenir shop and always a great photo op. They have a nice selection of clothing and toys and it's a highlight for any kiddos you might have with you. It is a small independent shop so it's a little on the spendy side, but you are supporting a local business so it feels worth it. I saw someone posted a nasty-gram about Sharky's mask policy (they are required to shop and she felt entitled). So you bet I made sure to stop here and make some purchases on a recent weekend trip. Staff was friendly and helpful. Great variety of items and the salt water taffy is abundant and fresh. Hmmm. Where did I see Sharky's again? I think it was on a website called Atlas Obscura which shows what unusual sites there are to see in each state. I got a pretty good Yelp bookmark list based on that. Probably the best thing about Sharky's is the giant shark head with it's gaping mouth and teeth, beckoning you to enter it. Otherwise Sharky's is your usual tourist place for beach attire, trinkets, candy and dust collectors. I would give this store zero stars if I could. Upon checking out, I had a simple question and an answer of No or Yes would have been ok. I asked, Do you give a military discount? For some odd reason, the employee wanted to tell us the owner who was military, believed he gave enough and didn't support the military and feels he does not have to give a discount. Also the employee told us he, himself didn't support the military. My husband is a member of DAV ( Disabled American Veterans) and was very offended. Usually when I ask that question which is often, it a simple answer. Not this awful explanation. It was just cheap Chinese stuff in the store anyways. read more

OMG, we walked into the mouth of Jaws!!! My son absolutely adores this place - not just because of the shark's mouth, but they just have so much stuff in there. We found some great souvenirs, that were priced lower than many of the other stores we checked out. I got an awesome tie-dyed Ocean Shores hoody that cost $5 less than the place next door. Although we didn't buy any, the saltwater taffy selection was breath-taking, and the layout of the store was also pleasing. Not too crowded, but with tons of stuff. They even have little jars with actual dead sharks in them. The finned creatures are actually in some sort of liquid, but they are pretty cool - and my son loves them. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for reasonable souvenirs in a fun shop. read more

This store is all about sharks: shark masks, shark toys, shark tooth, shark mints, they even sell pickled nursery sharks in little jars! Ew... Most of all, they sell awesome salt water taffy! Sharky's is the place to feed your inner tourist! Tons of Ocean Shores, WA and Sharky's shirts, sweats, stuffed animals, baby clothing, toys, socks, slippers, and other expected gift shop items. They have a good selection, friendly staff, and reasonable prices. The "Sharkbucks" shirts are 2 for 1 right now, woohoo. I got a gift each for 8 people and made it out at 125 bucks, pretty good if you ask me. If you're looking for Ocean Shores WA shirts, this was the best place we found. The sizes range from toddlers to adult 4x. Most of the prices range from 9 to 18 bucks, the hoodies are more. If you are looking for dolphin, sea lion, whale, and crab stuff, not too much as everything is pretty much beach or you guessed it, shark themed. Get your shark on! read more

T-shirts, jackets, hats, bathing suits, shot glasses, snow globes, you know the basic tacky goodness but with the cool shark theme. They did have some great sand castle building toys. And a great salt water taffy display. With some excellent flavors. We got a huge bag of candy to munch on all weekend. read more

They sell RACIST shirts. I shopped there a few times last year and they had shirts saying "My Indian name is Runs With Beer." You would think that with such a large Quinault tribe population they might try to be less offensive to the Native American population. Poor quality clothes. Images start peeling off and stitching comes apart after 3rd wash. As far as knick knacks(picture frames, snow globes, figurines, ect.), you can see the hot glue strands. Most of their products seem to be cheap imported garbage. And TAFFY: sometimes it is fresh and sometimes it is very old and hard; tooth chipping hard. I planned a roadtrip around visiting Ocean Shores to see this place. The building itself does not disappoint. Images of sharks adorn every inch of the exterior and the entrance is a huge open-mouthed shark. It was awesome. Sadly, the interior let me down. You can't help but stop at Sharky's, regardless of how many times you've been there before. The giant shark mouth seems to require a new photo every time you come to town. The kids love the place. Shopping should be done with caution though as a lot of the basic toys lack ties to this cool vacation destination. Many of them can be purchased significantly cheaper online. The t-shirts, posters, and some of the toys that are labeled "Sharky's" or "Ocean Shores" are plentiful there and great sources for souvenirs. The selection at Sharky's is the reason to come as they really do have a great deal to look at and hunt through. I was deeply offended by the first product I noticed when entering the building: dead sharks in a jar. This place could do something cool like educate people about sharks and maybe promote an organization that raises money for shark conservation. Instead, it promotes unsustainable, dumb gifts that contribute to the destruction of the environment. Super disappointed. read more
