I'm not a big fan of gift stores, but both my companion and I were HIGHLY impressed with the very well stocked cigar humidor in the rear of the store. I'm an occasional smoker, but my companion really knows her cheroots and was literally thrilled by both the selection and the surprisingly reasonable prices. After we purchased a few favorites, in our AirBnb that evening, we enjoyed a couple of tots of bourbon and two vanilla infused cigarellos - the perfect end to the first day of our vacation getaway.

My wife spotted some earrings she really liked, but she felt they were a little out of our price range, so she decided not to get them. After she walked away, I asked the clerk, "Did she like them?" "Definitely," replied the clerk. So, it being the holidays and all, I said, "Ring 'em up." The clerk quickly and slyly (my wife was still in the store) took care of the sale, and I was able to surprise my wife later with the beautiful earrings. Had a cup of their coffee Friday morning, and it was so good, we returned Saturday morning to enjoy another cup o' Joe. I'm a raven, so finding anything about ravens is exceptional and rare. Lots to look at here. Spent far too much money doing it. What's a raven, you might ask? If you have to ask, the distinction won't make an impression on you. For those that know, they're ravens, too, It's a safeguard thing: Odin made the raven an imparter of wisdom. Anyway... This is a great store! The proprietress is a fascinating individual with whom I loved talking, and if we hadn't had a mandatory obligation 80 miles away at an appointed time, I probably would have spent more time and money (yes!) in the store. It's on my list of places to revisit when we return to La Conner.
