This USED TO BE a cool eclectic antique/junk store!! No more! Now it is like other shop on the street, bleh! I won't bother to stop again. Seriously bummed about Jacks being gone! The employee was very pleasant, store was clean and well organized but unrecognizable. Nothing there that i would consider read more

This colossal antique shop grabbed my attention almost immediately upon walking in, due to the sheer variety and volume of quirky and interesting knick-knacks and kitsch on display just inside the door. Further exploration kept my attention engaged, as we moved through the various showrooms, seeking ever more interesting treasures and relics from days gone by. Nasty's Jack's collection is anything but, and the selection here is far less...stuffy, I guess, than other antique stores. This is an antique store for all ages, not just grandma and her collection of porcelain teddy bears, or whatever. Here you'll find everything from legacy furniture, décor, signage, tools, kitchenware, tableware and clothing, to toys, comics, figurines, sporting equipment, jewelry, records, DVDs, VHS, books, and probably a whole lot more that I am forgetting. You could spend hours here raiding each and every bin, hoping to dig up that special treasure that grabs your attention and pillages your wallet. Nasty Jack would be proud if you did! read more

Such a fun store. If you look at everything in details, you can easily spend the entire day here. I found lots of fun items, not necessarily old things but amusing items. My kiddo love their wooden slingshots, Grady for scouting! read more

Sooooo funky!!! Crazy little shop! That's for sure. If you like antiques this is totally for you! I've visited this shop a few times, every time I'm in LaConnor anyways. My husband loves this shop. There's all sorts of funky and antique-ey things ALL over the shop. It does smell kinda musty like an old... antique shop! but also... assumed I suppose. haha! The people are always friendly and there's always a plethora of items to admire. Prices are ... ok ... not cheap but not over priced for vintage items either (in my humble know-nothing about antiques opinion). :P Def a must-stop shop on your stroll! read more

I always seek out antique stores & malls, so upon a drive through La Connor recently, a stop at a place called Nasty Jack's had to be factored in, right? This isn't a huge antique mall but it isn't tiny by any means either. Two floors, with the second floor housing a lot of books, furniture and records. There are plenty of knick knacks to be found all over this place. I settled upon a book about birds and figured the next time I was through La Connor (which is about once every 7 years or so), I'd be back. read more

A lot to see in this Antique Mall as it's fairly large. There is a big selection of desks, dressers and chairs. Also a fair amount of memorabilia such as record albums, magazines and such. Owner was extremely nice. Even though I was here at the end of March I did find some nice vintage Christmas ornaments. Definitely a place to have a look. read more

Super fun nostalgic antique shop. Lots of amazing things to look at here. Even just fun to browse. They have an upstairs also with furniture and tons of old records and odds and ends. My favorite part was Old Nasty Jack himself the pirate. It's one of those fun old fortune-telling machines, still works. I got my fortune for $1 lol. They even have some fun old stuff outside the shop. It's Inside a neat old building you can see photos of its history and what it use to be inside. Must visit if you're in La Conner. read more

Our first time in La Conner, and we really wanted to go antiquing. Loved this little gem of a town, and we saved Nasty Jack's for last. Not much there unless you really are into tin signs. Just so disappointing for an antique store. I will definitely go back to La Conner, but will not bother wasting time at Nasty Jack's. read more

This was a fun stop to check out on our trip! This antique store is LOADED to the brim with antiques, so there is plenty to see, although I wish that there could have been some clearer labels to navigate the sections of the store more quickly. It was tricky to move through at times because of both people and stuff. Social distancing, sanitizing and masks were NOT enforced at this location for the fully vaccinated, so some people wore masks, some people did not. read more

Went early in the season for the surrounding area's Tulip Festival during a quickie escape to Vancouver BC...and decided, on a whim, to stop by La Conner to discover what this much-heralded port town is all about. Another PNW wanna-do crossed off the ole' bucket list... After being treated to spectacular, vista eye-candy -- kaleidoscopic fields of blooms stretching into infinity against snow-capped mountains -- we ran across Nasty Jack's Victorian digs. What an odd, fun, quirky and interesting find of a store, semi-mustiness and all !!! It's kind of like traveling back in time in a Twilight Zone episode...lost in one's thoughts of the past while browsing through Nasty's myriad, eclectic displays. It helps to be older (with a rich catalogue of memories) to fully appreciate the stimuli this store uniquely offers. A lot of fun, a lot of reminiscences...and a nice, clean restroom to boot. We bought a number of enchanting items, for which the owner (Nasty Jack, Jr. ?) was receptive to a modest cash discount. We liked the positive, uplifting and fun vibe of the store, which is reflective of the discriminating and thoughtful owners. Highly recommended... ;} read more

Antique stores start to look the same to me after some time but this one, I will definitely never forget. First off, we were conned that the kiddie rides outside were working...you know, those single pony rides that go back and forth for a quarter... We were by the ice cream shop behind and didn't realize that it was part of an antique shop's display. They still have those things in Queens and Brooklyn...and they're still rocking! Anyway, we didn't have enough time to really look at each merchandise but several things struck us and made us realize why the store's called so. They had lots of kinky stuff from the old days--- like a calendar with Marilyn Monroe's naked shot (for display purpose, parts were covered with playing cards), bottle openers in the shape of men and their *bleeping bleeps*, naked lady letter openers, and (ones that I've never come across before) brothel tokens! They were quite interesting and had pretty graphic inscriptions on them too. Nasty, nasty Jack! Hehe! read more

Nasty Jack's Antiques - Antiques Near Me - La Conner, Washington

I bribed a friend to go with me to the Tulip Festival with the agreement that we stopped by an antique store along the way. After doing some research I figured that Nasty Jack's Antiques seemed like a good prospect. The website was quirky, the history was captivating, and the Tulip Festival recommended it. I have lost track of the number of antique stores I have been in these last few months, and I must admit I won't forget this one. It had some cool things that other antique stores did not have such as records and old cassette tapes. There was a photo studio as well where people could play dress up in vintage clothes. A few things surprised me though. The website advertised it was one the largest antique shops around, yet it felt smaller than most. There was a lot of room to maneuver, but slim on the merchandise. The other thing that surprised me was the amount of broken items. I don't think I have been to an antique store yet that displayed the amount of broken items as this one did. There was a statue that resembled a Greek statue of Athena. It would have been really cool, good size made of bronze, but the bow was missing, the hands were cleaved off, and the helmet had considerable damage. Most of the little statues were like that - a missing hand, a missing weapon, metal that was scratched - and the price reflected like nothing was wrong with the item. It caught me off guard. We looked around for fifteen minutes and then left. It wasn't worth any more time. read more

When in La Conner, one just HAS to visit this store. It's been around for years, and it's got character, unlike most stores which, let's face it, have none. This is the kind of place to reminisce about one's childhood. There's tons of memorabilia from the 70's, 60's, 50's and earlier. Brady Bunch lunchboxes? Coca Cola posters? Elvis albums? Original Saturday Evening Post magazines? They're all here. And much, much more. It's a fun place. Oh, and they now have an "old time" photographer in the rear of the store, if you want to take those cheesy old-time photos (which can be fun for the family). read more

From the pony ride machines out front to the bins of old records in the back, and all the signs, vintage magazines, furniture, signs and novelties in between, Nasty Jack's is really fun to browse. The major thing I noticed about it was that there was no dust on anything, right up to the back wall, signalling that this is one well-kept store. According to the display about the store itself, it's still run by the family of Nasty Jack, a hippie type who started the business in the sixties. I'm not normally a big antiques fan, but I liked the spiciness of this store and the surprises around every corner and up in the rafters too. read more

Disappointing. Lots of furniture, mostly oak and IMHO overpriced. Fine if you are not too discerning but don't expect to find anything really unique here. read more

This place has something for every one and for any pocket book. the prices were reasonable, and everything from something nostalgic for Grandma to a toy or book for the kids. and prices ranging from any to what ever. in other words 1 buck to 3 grand. I bought a few things to take back to friends. So go have a look you wont be sorry. read more

Nasty Jack's Antiques - the tin signs were a hoot. here are just a few. - Antiques Near Me - La Conner, Washington

I love this antique shop. It's huge and fun to explore. There are a mix of old things and newer replicas of old things. They have a bunch of fun items too, like old motel keys, new (old style) brothel coins, and new wood-carved rubber band "guns." There is a huge collection of magazines that are well organized including a bunch of Life magazines. They also have a rotating stock of antique furniture, much of it beautiful and in good condition. The owners are pleasant and will occasionally give you a deal if you make a reasonable offer. read more

I loved this store...its eclectic, it has sinking floors, it smells old, but its not nasty smelling, nor does it have nasty things (although I found a book called go the **** to sleep on the front table) We spent almost an hour wandering, digging through their records ( they have a really large selection!) and gazing at the plethora of metal signs. The signs are priced really reasonable one for $25 or two for $25. My Hubby bought an old texaco truck for his collection. He was very happy with it. I loved the old tin badges the had for sale (especially the brothel inspector...I was thinking any bachelor party would love these). This is a place we will be back to and spend some money at in the future.. read more

OMG. This place!! I mean, I don't particularly like antiques [germs]. But...I do like old toys from my childhood. This place has a little of everything...those cool tin signs, old photos, toys, collector cards, comic books, old Life Magazines [all in plastic], old Playboy Magazines [in plastic]. I bought one with a Carrie Fisher INTERVIEW. There's so much cool stuff in here, I could have done damage. I must have picked up and touched hundreds of items in there. The guy working there is cool too. He totally didn't judge us on the Playboy. read more

If you're in La Conner, you may as well stop in here. Even if you're not a huge antique person, this place is still pretty cool. They have a huge selection and everything seems nicely organized. Very lovely to look at, so well organized and laid out, but everything is overpriced.

This is an antique store that you want to love going to- but there are almost too many reasons to make the place not even worth the visit. Not even being greeted when you step foot into the store is definitely one of the biggest reasons. There are barley ever any customers in there and the cashier is very close to the front of the store, so the employees can definitely see you when you enter the store and they have no reason for not greeting you. In this store there are plenty of things from furniture to nick-nacks but I would never actually buy anything there because of the prices. In my last visit to Nasty Jack's, my boyfriend ended up purchasing an overpriced old Coca-Cola glass from the store and honesty, I now wish he wouldn't have because of how rude the lady at the cashier was. Every time I made eye-contact with her, I would smile and all she would do is stare back at me with a rude and blank expression. The whole time we were checking out she did not say one word to my boyfriend and I, until she was finished bagging up our glass. Then the only word she said was, "bye.". No "have a nice day" or "thank you for coming" or anything. Her unfriendly manner has scared me away from ever stepping foot in there again. read more

Amazing place to spend an hour, beautiful antiques, always a funky surprise around every corner. The staff are great. Something for everyone

This is my favorite store to visit when in LaConner. It's never boring in there. I do think they get fresh merchandise in there as well as old stand-bys because I always see something new every time I go in. There is so much to look at. It's a big place. Tons of novelty signs that look old, which is cool. Funny ones, actual real advertising signs from long ago, plenty of antique furniture and most importantly, you can pick up a classic looking Felix the cat, shaky-eyes wall clock in many different colors. Who doesn't like THOSE, right? Lastly, old school rides out front for the kiddos and they have this trippy fortune teller in a big, glass box named "Zoltar the Great" and it's just funny and silly. I love that. read more

This place is very popular with tourists and visitors, but it's extremely expensive. There's a huge Life Magazine section, but there's $15 a magazine, which is overpriced. Other antique stores have them for $6-7. Only bought one magazine (not Life) and left. Popular, but too expensive. read more

This was a fun store to browse with out of state company. Our friends are experienced antiquers and they felt prices were very high compared to other stores in the area. Then the owner came to check out our small purchase and he was not kind in the least not a smile or any chat. As I looked around the store I kept seeing things to bring my husband in to check out for more serious purchase discussion. I believe we will be giving our business to someone that can treat their customers like they appreciate their business. read more

not sure why it calls itself an "antique" store. theres brand new merchandise being sold in there! and a Brittney Spears trading card is HARDLEY an antique... anyway, everything was very expensive. the 20 something year old kid behind the counter was more involved in his lap top than engaging the customers. he appeared to have zero interest in antiques. if you skipped this place on your visit to La Conner, rest assured, you didn't miss anything. read more
