And that was my experience for the several months I attempted to conduct business with them. Very pleasant, no action. I finally had a appointment set at my home for them to look at the furniture I had to sell. I confirmed the appointment the night before, and they were a no-show. Furthermore, I didn't receive an explanation for this, much less an apology. It was months ago, and I still haven't heard from them. And, they were a professional referral, so I thought the would care about that, even if they had no regard for me.

They also have a great outdoor courtyard area full of all sorts of kitschy/rusting finery - everything from old bicycles to mattress springs to car bumpers just waiting to be repurposed creatively. One thing I like about this antique mall is that it's not just an antique mall - several stalls feature new (yet vintage-like) items and signage. The prices are typical for an antique mall (a litlte high, but hey where are you going to find this stuff anywhere else?) - but not outrageously so. This is an antique store for all ages, not just grandma and her collection of porcelain teddy bears, or whatever. Here you'll find everything from legacy furniture, décor, signage, tools, kitchenware, tableware and clothing, to toys, comics, figurines, sporting equipment, jewelry, records, DVDs, VHS, books, and probably a whole lot more that I am forgetting. But clearly it's been awhile since my last stop to Bow-Edison having stumbled upon Hedgerow in Edison back on 8/25/18. Tiny, lovely shop. So many well curated and arranged items of interest throughout the shop. I especially loved the desk I had photographed while in the shop. Another co-worker and her friend stopped by the following weekend just on the merits of a few photos I had sent her. It's one of those spots that you just might find something special for someone or treat yourself!

There is a wide variety of merchandise for sale, with a mix of antiques, collectibles, junk and garage sale type finds scattered throughout multiple rooms, outdoor structures and fenced off areas. The owner is a friendly older gentleman who has lots of stories about the items he sells. He's willing to negotiate discounts, and seems to be happy to meet new customers. I highly suggest checking this shop out. It's such a great example of roadside eclectic Americana, I'd hate to see fun places like this go under.
