They were never returned. Five years ago, she got back to Anacortes, but the store was closed while she was there (2020 and all that madness). Quick advance to September 2025, she had to drive round looking for the store, we finally found it close to a shipyard, but its doors were closed for good. There happened to be a note on one of the doors, giving us the address where the store had relocated. Not only did she find the place mats that she'd lost, but much more... I went into the store after she returned to the car (puppy to tend to), and I found a number of things I was looking for: old coins, nautical stuff, old photos, a veritable treasure trove. This entered my list of places to revisit, and I'll be sure to find a new supply of snarky magnets (which I leave on the refrigerator door of a few deserving victims... heh heh heh). Nice place. Excellent selection, lots to see, more to buy. Enjoyed talking with the proprietress.

It's very well organized and…read morethere is a lot to choose from - in fact, several of the vendor spaces are devoted to specific themes, like cowboy/western, nautical/mermaid, wine, tiki/Hawaiian, vintage cooking, etc. If I was going to do some kind of theme room I would definitely start here. They also have a great outdoor courtyard area full of all sorts of kitschy/rusting finery - everything from old bicycles to mattress springs to car bumpers just waiting to be repurposed creatively. One thing I like about this antique mall is that it's not just an antique mall - several stalls feature new (yet vintage-like) items and signage. The prices are typical for an antique mall (a litlte high, but hey where are you going to find this stuff anywhere else?) - but not outrageously so. The passageways are a little narrow, so keep your bags (and elbows) tucked in. This is definitely not a place I would dare to bring a small child. Best to plan your visit for an adults-only outing!

Further exploration kept my attention engaged, as we moved through the various showrooms, seeking ever more interesting treasures and relics from days gone by. Nasty's Jack's collection is anything but, and the selection here is far less...stuffy, I guess, than other antique stores. This is an antique store for all ages, not just grandma and her collection of porcelain teddy bears, or whatever. Here you'll find everything from legacy furniture, décor, signage, tools, kitchenware, tableware and clothing, to toys, comics, figurines, sporting equipment, jewelry, records, DVDs, VHS, books, and probably a whole lot more that I am forgetting. You could spend hours here raiding each and every bin, hoping to dig up that special treasure that grabs your attention and pillages your wallet. Nasty Jack would be proud if you did!

But clearly it's been awhile since my last stop to Bow-Edison having stumbled upon Hedgerow in Edison back on 8/25/18. Tiny, lovely shop. So many well curated and arranged items of interest throughout the shop. I especially loved the desk I had photographed while in the shop. Another co-worker and her friend stopped by the following weekend just on the merits of a few photos I had sent her. It's one of those spots that you just might find something special for someone or treat yourself!

There is a wide variety of merchandise for sale, with a mix of antiques, collectibles, junk and garage sale type finds scattered throughout multiple rooms, outdoor structures and fenced off areas. The owner is a friendly older gentleman who has lots of stories about the items he sells. He's willing to negotiate discounts, and seems to be happy to meet new customers. I highly suggest checking this shop out. It's such a great example of roadside eclectic Americana, I'd hate to see fun places like this go under.
