I took a lamp here that I had tried (unsuccessfully) to rewire myself. The original design was very…read moreprecarious and when I took it apart, I found the previous owner had really crammed any and everything they could to get this lamp upright and working. They had cut the bottom open crudely with a soldering iron and left it open and jagged. The lamp was always crooked, wobbling, tilted, and never screwed tight so I thought I would definitely improve it after rewiring it but- I could not figure out how to put it back together and so it sat in pieces, my beautiful lamp, in the back of my car for years. I wish I had taken pictures of it before I brought it to Pat Eggings in a bucket. Just so you could see the stark comparison of my sad lamp reduced to nuts, bolts, vintage brown glass globes, bronze/brass pillars, to this sturdy, solid and completely restored piece of art. He even put a perfectly cut slab of masonite on the bottom to safely close the jagged opening that had been carved on the bottom. The price was very reasonable and I will happily come to them with all my lamp repair needs! Of course it's also a great place to shop for one of a kind antiques and collectibles. Thank you so much!

And though I'd driven past this mall many times, I finally stopped in a few weeks ago. What a neat place! It's not the biggest antique mall ever, but the booths (most of which are pretty small) are generally well organized and full of interesting finds. Some have themes (like kitchen, or mid-century), and there are all sorts of vintage items throughout. Clothing, toys, furniture, sporting goods, baskets, automotive... you name it and it's probably in here. I really enjoyed the atmosphere here, and the fact all the booths I visited were clean, stocked, and well organized. I'll definitely be adding this to my regular rotation for vintage shopping!

I've been working on adding some vintage/antique touches to my house, and found MORE than a few cool items here. Including some vintage sewing items for my sewing studio. I brought home a trunkload of cool things, and still only managed to make my way through about half of the booths. The major of the booths here are well stocked and organized. There were a few exceptions, but most were amazing. Several of the booths were having sales, so I was able to score some items for 40-50% off. The staff here are also extremely kind and helpful. The gentleman at the front counter even carefully wrapped my fragile items so I could get them home safely. Regarding earlier reviews, this is no longer half antique store half antique mall. It's 100% antique mall now. Happy treasure hunting!

Take your time to look around, you'll find something that you never knew you'd ever want. The owner was super friendly, offering information to my questions regarding recommended dining and entertainment. I bought only one thing during my first visit, a charming Bobby bottle stopper. I could've easily bought more, but make a point to limit myself to one item only. I'll be back, no doubt.

Dilly Dally is full of better than average antiques at very reasonable prices. Many shops have low quality items that the owners try to sell at inflated costs. NOT so here! Prices are good and the items are great. Well preserved table and furniture pieces are in display - along with silver, tea sets, quilts, pictures, and other things from years gone by. We got ourselves a few pictures, a beautiful lace tablecloth, and an old globe (I'm a sucker for maps and gloves)! Best news is we didn't break the bank! Ha! This is a wonderful antique store! The owner on site was very friendly and we chatted with her a wee bit as we checked out. Stop in, shop local, support a great business and leave with some great finds!

I even follow them on Facebook after we return home. The Volunteers are among the best, always there to help. You know how some thrift stores have that musty, old odor? They have a…read morelittle bit of everything - from clothing to kitchen items to crafts to books - and most of it is pretty reasonably priced, too. The shop is well organized and there seems to be a good turnover of items. I visit whenever I'm in La Conner (about once every month or two) and I rarely see the same items sitting for too long. The staff (who I think are all volunteers) are always helpful and friendly, too. They're quick to offer assistance, wrap up a breakable item, or answer a question. On my most recent visit, which was yesterday, I was excited to see they had some nice Christmas items in stock - including a Christmas 50% off table, and even some beautiful 1980s era Christmas china. I've always wanted a whole set of Christmas china, but had to resist the temptation to buy it. Should have grabbed a pic as it was quite lovely!
