Spent the weekend thrifting and came across this hidden gem. Not the largest thrift store in the area. A smaller bright clean trendy space. A fitting room and sitting area. Definitely a larger selection of men clothing and custom nikes. Military friendly, ample street parking, and friendly service. Urban outfitter meets custom sneakers. Mostly junk. Also, the owner lives on West Beach Road in the 1800 block and has his yard littered with used and junk cars. He also has a half dozen vehicles lined up along West Beach Road in front of his house. A complete eyesore for the community and a hazard for bicyclists and pedestrians. read more

Everything is priced like they don't want to sell anything. It's SO expensive. Some things have been there for years and not had price reduction. It's so messy and hard to find anything. There's items out on the floor that they said aren't for sale yet. Really hoped to love it here, but have been disappointed every time I come back. read more

i went into this store in August 2023. I spotted a vintage Abalone shell night light. the price was $56. I offered Jason $40 and he said he will check the value. i walked around the store and when I came back to the counter , he had raised the price $100 ! up to $156.00 I asked what's this BS ? His reply was that's what's it's worth, I can't sell it for any less. when I got home I found 5 other similar lamps on EBay. i bought 2 at $30 each. what a jerk. that junk pile needs a reset on prices. read more

Giving two stars because the owners/staff were friendly. I really wanted to like this place and give it my own opinion considering the other reviews, But sadly that was the only positive experience for that shop. I have been antiquing for a while now and understand and love the charm of a slightly disorganized mixed matched store however this store is extremely disorganized and dirty in there. I saw some of what could have been some quality antiques but the price they were charging and given the condition they were in is outrageous. Because of the disorganization And excessive amount of items just walking though the shop felt like a hazard I was constantly worried I'd bump into something and break it! It also feels like your missing out on items that could have been a great finds but we're too hidden. On top of the excessive items a few of the antique table wear had what looked like newish dry food on them still, and some of the dust and crud on items would leave lasting damage that would need repairs, knowing that and the price you would be charged for the items made it not worth the buy. I would definitely reconsider the shop given the owners kindness and attempts of helpfulness, but it would need to be cleaner and the items prices match the conditions and current value they were in. read more

I went there once, I will never go back. The store is jam packed with WAY over priced stuff so much so, you kind of think they are hoping you will knock something over so you have to pay for it. It is dirty, dusty, claustrophobic with not much room to move. I wish I could give it zero stars. Forget this dump. Go across the street to WAIF a GREAT thrift store that benefits animals, Island Thrift Store or evening Habitat for Humanity. This store looks promising, but is a complete waste of time. read more

1/12/2020 My husband took all of Jason's(owner)things that he wanted him to sell on EBay. He did, per his request. My husband asked Jason's wife that was at the front counter if we could have our $50 back from a layaway. She said that Jason wasn't there and we'd have to ask Jason because they were consignor items. (We were never told or shown of any layaway policy). When I was in their store, they told me that I didn't have to put any money down. I gave them $50 anyways so that they knew I was being honest on my part. I have paid in full a layaway with them of about $400 in the past. 1/16/2020 About 10am my husband called Jason at his store to ask about the $50. Jason said that they don't give refunds on consigned items. (They never told us their layaway policy). Jason said that he called the people telling them their items have sold. And he would work something out. My husband said ok, I'll call you later. My husband called Jason about 5hrs later. Jason said that he was busy working on his furnace at his house. 1/19/2020 My husband has not been contacted by Jason to resolve this issue. The items I had on layaway was a lamp $100+, entry table $180 and glass painting $200+ My total was over $500+ I asked my husband to get our $50 and all of my items returned from their daughter's store Uniquely Put. 1/11/2020 My reason for this is because I don't feel SAFE around those people. They broke into my boss's home on Fort Nugent Rd to retrieve their few pieces of furniture. All they had to do was ask one of us to unlock the house for them. They messed up the lock to one of the doors. My boss had to get something from his house and saw what had happened. Later in the week, Jason admitted to my boss in a text message that he was the one that did the Breaking & Entering. read more

Ugh I agree with most of these reviews. While the owners came across as kind, they were pushy. The place is an over-priced mess and I don't see how they stay afloat. Junky. I only put the one star so I could write this review. Take my advice whatever you do; do NOT take your belongs to this place of business. Don't hire them to have an estate sale for you. They are liars, and thieves. The most unprofessional person/people I have ever dealt with in my whole life! They won't return your phone calls, no communication whatsoever. Shame on them for taking advantage of people that have just lost their loved ones. I will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau as well. read more

As you can see by other post, this place is a joke. They try to be hip and cool with records and comic books but they don't know what they are talking about. Over priced records that are not clean at all. Comic books, you do all the work to find some books but then they look they up online and charge CGC 9.4 prices for a 4.0 book. If you call them out on Facebook they will block you as they do not want other to know how bad they are. read more

This is a great place. Not only is it fun to look around (visual education!) the staff of super friendly and welcoming. They went out of their way to help me on my search of what I like to collect and took my name and number to contact me when something of interests comes in so I wound have to come back every week to see if they have something new. It was around Sep or Oct when Jason contacted my wife asking us to come to a home staging they where doing by Mariner's Cove, Oak Harbor to see if there were any items there we wanted. It ended up me moving heavy furniture out of the house for them and he did not even offer to pay me. Later on he contacted my wife again to ask us to help them with an estate sale they were getting ready to do and we were there from 11 am to 6 pm with our 6 year old daughter and once again they didn't even ask or bother to pay us for helping them move very heavy furniture from the attic to the garage all day. They also asked my wife to cover the store for one hour and she ended up being there for almost three hours without pay. His reason was it was Shark Week on TV and he had to take food to his wife. My wife almost missed our daughters Taekwondo class and I had to leave work early to make sure that didn't happen. Our friend Steven had them sell an antique doll. He called ahead of time to confirm with the store that they had his money. The Lady working at the counter could not get a hold of Jason, he wasn't answering his phone. Jason's excuses was the $60 was at the store and he couldn't find it. Steven did end up getting his money later on, not when it was promised. We also have a female friend who was hired on as a part-time employee and they never paid her for all of the days and hours she had worked at their store. Worst experience in my business life. Hired these people to handle an estate sate of my families belongings fall of 2016. They were done first part of January 2017, it took four months to receive final payment. Excuse after excuse and lie after lie. These people are not to be trusted. If they wat to do an estate sale for you run the other way. I wish someone would have warned us. read more
