And though I'd driven past this mall many times, I finally stopped in a few weeks ago. What a neat place! It's not the biggest antique mall ever, but the booths (most of which are pretty small) are generally well organized and full of interesting finds. Some have themes (like kitchen, or mid-century), and there are all sorts of vintage items throughout. Clothing, toys, furniture, sporting goods, baskets, automotive... you name it and it's probably in here. I really enjoyed the atmosphere here, and the fact all the booths I visited were clean, stocked, and well organized. I'll definitely be adding this to my regular rotation for vintage shopping!

The owner was super friendly, offering information to my questions regarding recommended dining and entertainment. I bought only one thing during my first visit, a charming Bobby bottle stopper. I could've easily bought more, but make a point to limit myself to one item only. I'll be back, no doubt.

Dilly Dally is full of better than average antiques at very reasonable prices. Many shops have low quality items that the owners try to sell at inflated costs. NOT so here! Prices are good and the items are great. Well preserved table and furniture pieces are in display - along with silver, tea sets, quilts, pictures, and other things from years gone by. We got ourselves a few pictures, a beautiful lace tablecloth, and an old globe (I'm a sucker for maps and gloves)! Best news is we didn't break the bank! Ha! This is a wonderful antique store! The owner on site was very friendly and we chatted with her a wee bit as we checked out. Stop in, shop local, support a great business and leave with some great finds!

They are not good about posting good descriptions or taking very good photos. Always leaving key information out and then being upset when the buyer points that out. Horrible photos and completely WRONG description led me to win the auction and when I went to pick the item up it wasn't what they tried to sell it as. I said as much and the owner gave me a spiel that it was my fault. I won't be doing any more business with them and you shouldn't either.

And now that I live only a few miles away, it's a regular stop when I'm in a thrifting mood. As with most things these days, the prices here have gone up a bit the past few years. But they are still very reasonable, and they have daily 50% off and 99-cent tag sales, plus other specials throughout the week. They also have a loyalty program where you can earn points and discounts based on how much you purchase. This still ranks as one of the cleanest and most well organized thrift shops I've ever been to, even moreso since their recent massive re-arranging project which I really appreciate. My favorite section is their sewing and craft area. If you're a fabric hoarder like I am, there's always something fun to be found there. Their clothing can be hit and miss, but if you visit regularly you're sure to find something new and fun to wear. And don't miss their vintage/antique section which has some really fun finds.
