I recommend Wrenhaven Vintage Market and the entire 3rd Street shopping to anyone. Except the one store about 3 or 4 doors East of Wrenhaven, where everything is lacy and white...full of cute stuff. That could be good or bad, depending on what you're looking for. Like an antique mall, it's one big space divided into smaller stalls, and you can more or less tell where each stall ends. The individual stalls might or might not be organized according to a theme -- some are just piled with random used stuff. One of my favorites was toward the middle of the store and included some mineral specimens, fossils, deer antlers, and jewelry, but the prices were a bit high for me. Some of the stalls do seem to be more antique-focused for collectors. There's one that specializes in novelty cookie jars, and another that has a nice selection of Bakelite bracelets for just $5-10 each. There were some Pyrex pieces too, though overpriced. But many of the areas just seemed packed with used clothes, housewares, kids' toys, and random items. I guess that's the "flea market" part. A lot of it is so cluttered and messy that it's just difficult to look through, though. There's probably some good stuff in here, but it needs to be cleaned up and displayed more nicely to really be fun to shop. It's worth a quick stop if you're already here, but I wouldn't go out of my way to visit again.

The day I went, everything was 50% which is the only reason I walked out my arms full. The lady at the counter was super kind and personable. She greeted me as soon as I walked in and explained the sale for the day. The store is a good mix of women's clothes, decor, and housewares. Not much for kids clothes that I saw but they did have an entire aisle with toys and games. Lots of puzzles, glassware, DVDs and vinyls! If you love a good thrift hunt, this is a must!

At first glance, with its sidewalk clothing racks full of all things fun and vintage, it seemed to have potential. So we went inside. Now, I don't mind a semi crowded or even slightly disorganized thrift shop. After all, half the fun is in the hunt, right? But this place took cluttered to a new level. While some areas of the store were fairly organized, others were literally piled with junk. It became not so much a hunt for treasures as it was an effort to just get through the place without tripping over something. I found myself wondering just how long some of these piles had been around, and what sorts of creepy crawlies might be lurking within them. I did my best to wander through and try to find a treasure or two. But after a few minutes I started to feel pretty claustrophobic. When I realized I've watched episodes of Hoarding: Buried Alive that looked eerily similar to this shop, I quickly made my escape. All that being said, they did have some interesting looking finds. There was another lady in the store who I had spoken to who would vouch for his wonderful work and service as she is a longtime customer.
