Dilly Dally is full of better than average antiques at very reasonable prices. Many shops have low quality items that the owners try to sell at inflated costs. NOT so here! Prices are good and the items are great. Well preserved table and furniture pieces are in display - along with silver, tea sets, quilts, pictures, and other things from years gone by. We got ourselves a few pictures, a beautiful lace tablecloth, and an old globe (I'm a sucker for maps and gloves)! Best news is we didn't break the bank! Ha! This is a wonderful antique store! The owner on site was very friendly and we chatted with her a wee bit as we checked out. Stop in, shop local, support a great business and leave with some great finds!

And though I'd driven past this mall many times, I finally stopped in a few weeks ago. What a neat place! It's not the biggest antique mall ever, but the booths (most of which are pretty small) are generally well organized and full of interesting finds. Some have themes (like kitchen, or mid-century), and there are all sorts of vintage items throughout. Clothing, toys, furniture, sporting goods, baskets, automotive... you name it and it's probably in here. I really enjoyed the atmosphere here, and the fact all the booths I visited were clean, stocked, and well organized. I'll definitely be adding this to my regular rotation for vintage shopping!

There's dressers with specific drawers for buttons, retro valentines cards and old timey photos. There's two different staircases that will lead you two different floor sections with different themed rooms. Pam doesn't have pickers for her items, she does the picking herself. What good taste she has too! Some of the items, she can give you a back history on. Oh my goodness, I could go on and on about this store, but you really need to check it out for yourself. They have pretty much everything - from kitchen items and clothes, to books, tools, art, and even some small furniture items. They also have a small vintage section full of glass and other decor items. Prices, in general, were a little on the high side - though I supposed that describes most stores these days. I started in the kitchen area, where I picked up a couple of knick knacks for my travel trailer. Then I headed to what was a pretty impressive tool section. Although most of the tools were in pretty rough shape, and on the electric items there was no indication as to whether they'd been tested or not. I also checked out the books and, of course, the surprisingly thorough sewing and craft section. I ended with a trip through the very large clothing section, where I also noticed they have quite a great selection of interesting artwork too. Checkout was kinda weird, as there were extra employees (or maybe they were just friends of employees?) hanging out at the cashier area gossiping. I actually had to sort of make my presence known, even though I was the only customer in the shop. It felt awkward, like I was interrupting a private conversation. Kinda weird! I'll probably stop back next time I'm in Anacortes, as it seems like the kind of place that's probably regularly getting some interesting items on their shelves. Maybe the cashier's chit-chatty friends will have gone home by then.
