Ultimate junk hunt with treasures galore! So much to look at with the most random (but cool) finds. Plan on spending some time walking through here, there's so much to see. If you're looking for an alternative stress relief solution, belly up to the break a plate smash counter. Pay for dishes from plates to vases, mugs and more to fly at the wall. Treasures are organized by category for the most part. Divine masterpiece antique hutches and furniture can be found here too at times. They do a good job of sorting through and displaying truly vintage items at fair prices. Family run, you can find everyone there hard at work and happy to help and answer questions. Good people! They also take in animals from locals in town and host sell. You can usually find bunnies for sale, and even pups from locals (not the business). You can hold them and pet them too! We walked in to see cool things after brunch, and left with a Netherland Dwarf bunny from a family who had just dropped off a litter. We were able to get good starter care information before they left (again, not the business themselves but a resident in town). Always love popping in to take a gander when in town, beware of the cute bunnies they may cast their spell and you'll go home with one! read more

We hit up Arlington n our mega summer Roadtrip last summer (5 weeks from Northern Canada). Came here with a friend who is a local and had a blast checking out the town but really loved this shop. My teen was thrilled to do plate therapy and we found so many cute little Knick knacks we wouldn't loved to bring home but sadly our car was already overflowing as this was our last week before heading home. I would 100 percent recommend checking this place out if you have some time to mosey. read more

The dude and I recently took a day trip to check out Arlington's downtown historic district (and its plethora of thrift and antique shops) and Arlington Pickers was our second stop. The place is pretty eclectic, selling everything from bunnies (yes live ones) to pianos to, of course, assorted ephemera from days gone by. Just after entering we were startled to hear that sound all thrifters dread: shattering glass. Turns out they have a plate-throwing station in the back and the first one is free. Seems like a great opportunity to let off some steam, though I'd recommend wearing the (provided) safety glasses if you go. Additional plate throws are just $1 each, which honestly seems cheaper than therapy. They seemed to have a lot of everything here, from kitchen items to records and books and other collectibles. We were most intrigued by their huge assortment of 92-cent items (assuming that's because it comes out to an even $1 after tax), which included a LOT of tools, hardware, and other brick-a-brack to choose from. Most of the store is very well-organized, though prices were more difficult to find on some items than others. It's definitely worth a stop and a browse if you're looking for that elusive ______________ to add to your collection. read more

i am absolutely disgusted to read that this business is "selling" neglected, sick, and pregnant guinea pigs. they are being kept in FILTHY bird cages. they have wounds from fighting and not being properly separated, along with ringworm, mites, scurvy, and abscesses from the wounds and malnourishment. no hay (which guinea pigs need in unlimited amounts at all times), water bottles either dirty, not full, or fallen into the cage. no idea if they had ever gotten veggies, which are to be given 1-2x a day. oh, not to mention they also abuse and neglect bunnies! what a surprise... here is a direct quote from their facebook: "Don't forget about our furry friends. Males $15.95 Females $29.95 Guaranteed to be pregnant!" with a photo of them all holding the guinea pigs with smiling faces. to think that they not only SEVERELY neglect these small creatures, they purposely breed them and sell them pregnant to anyone willing to pay them. there seem to be no regulations for their "breeding" either, and were told that after they have their babies they're sent straight back to be bred again. guinea pigs are being surrendered in mass amounts to shelters and rescues all over the US right now. the last thing we need is places like this who not only neglect but "breed" with no regulations just to make a buck. DISGUSTING. they also refused MULTIPLE TIMES to surrender these poor piggies to rescues who would take good care of them. if that doesn't say something about these people and their agenda i don't know what will! on top of that, they (specifically DUANE THOMAS) even removed a rescue's posts exposing them. well, duane, sorry--you can't even pay to remove yelp reviews! and i thought petco & petsmart were bad... THIS IS ABUSE. guinea pigs are not your "furry friends". they are your pretty penny. read more

I'm not sure why a "Pickers" store has Guinea pigs for sale to begin with but it also has no respect for the welfare of these animals. "GUARANTEED to be pregnant for a female and males housed with other females caused many to have severe wounds which will likely abscess and need surgery. Disgusting. read more

Just went to Arlington Pickers today looking to purchase a piano from their shop and pay for their delivery service. The two workers there, one man and one girl, were at the desk. We browsed the available pianos for five minutes, not one word was said to us. Wanting to purchase one, we went all the way up to the desk and then greeted them. The man proceeded to nonchalantly explain his services. You know, the way you explain things to a child when you don't really care what they do? Yeah. We tuned out his half - sales pitch. You'd think a local business would provide that good old customer service to boost their sales. Not here, folks. read more

We've been in here quite a few times and never been greeted or asked if we needed assistance with anything. Today was kind of the straw that broke the camel's back. Staff is not wearing face masks, no social distancing, and once again the staff seems as if they don't care if you or they are there. We will not be returning as there are other places in Arlington that actually appreciate your business. read more

I admit my Arlington expectations were low, but the downtown area is actually pretty cute! The newest addition to their row of antique and home-decor stores is Arlington Pickers, by the owners of Rusté just down the block. This seems to be the place for everything that was too weird, beat-up, or black-velvety to make it into their other store, and it is full of treasure. You'll see rows of mason jars lined up in the front window, but don't be put off -- this is not a cutesy Pinterest wall of a shop. Inside, it's a hodgepodge of vintage dishes and glassware, kooky art and decorations, antique furniture, and shelves of old hardware and tools. Hubcaps, bedframes, fake plants, signs, you name it. During our visit, there was a pretty great black-velvet bullfighter painting and some other wall art for very reasonable prices. We walked out with two paintings because they were just such bargains! If you love "bad art" or thrift-store art, or you like to take vintage paintings and alter them, this is a great place to pick up inexpensive pieces. It's a fairly small store, so it won't take you long to go through it, but don't overlook the stuff tucked in the display windows and corners. Definitely worth a visit if you're antiquing around Arlington! read more

This little shop is a treasure trove of goodies. I actually like that the staff don't try to coddle me. Staff is friendly but not in your face. If I wanted someone to schmooze me I'll go buy a car. Lots of cool stuff. They're expanding to get more of the stuff out to view. Wear a mask or don't wear a mask. Like the stuff in the shop it's choices. I like choices. When we're in Arlington we stop buy just to see if there's something there I can't live without. Prices are real reasonable. Don't miss this shop next time you're up North. read more

I love this store. For those people who are saying the staff isn't friendly, you are very wrong. They give you space to look and make decisions but they are not in your face hovering over you. When you need help all you have to do is ask. They are wonderful people and want to be helpful. I have gotten many treasures here and love to go every chance I get. read more
