"Oreo" - at one point there may have been oreos in here, it's Oreo flavor now.

Not impressed at all. The girl that took our order mumbled fast and I had to tell her that we didn't understand her - she continued to mumble defiantly, with her frown. Rude and tense. The two burgers were obviously both burgers I've had before from the frozen section at the grocery store. So, totally overpriced. The supposed quinoa had no quinoa and tasted like the black bean patty I've had and husband's tasted like boca burger. The shakes were okay and obliterated rather than blended, I could not taste the peach at all but saw specks of peach. The best thing were fries, probably the best I've had ever. Will never be back.

As a citizen of earth and a fan of burgers, trying earth burger felt like the logical thing to do. The exterior is brightly colored and welcoming and the interior was just as nice with ample seating and a lot of natural light. I ordered the double cheese burger with a kale and carrot Side salad and ginger kale lemonade. It was great and guilt free. When it comes to reviews I'm concerned with the food quality and then the service after. In this case the service was great and the cashier walked me through the menu and options. All in all it was a delicious meal and probably the best burger in its vegetable based category I've tried in recent memory. To quote the late fighter pilot Captain Steven "Steve" Hiller, USMC, in an indie 1996 documentary titled 'Independence Day' ...."Welcome to Earth!"

Kid's meal: junior burger with tots, peach tea, and cookie. I also tried their brown sugar oat milk latte, which was outstanding!

Ordered via drive-thru during my lunch break. I wasn't too hungry so I got the kid's meal, which still came with quite a bit of food. Junior burger and crispy tots were tasty, the meal also came with a drink and cookies. Additionally, I tried the brown sugar oat milk latte, which was so delicious. Employees are friendly, but it took a little while to get my food due to the lunch rush. I will return to try other coffee for sure!

    Chik-N Sandwich

I don't think I've ever had such a hearty no-meat burger before! I've been trying to go vegan recently so I naturally had to give Earth Burger a shot and I'm SO glad I did. We went through the drive thru this time around and the wait was admittedly on the longer side, but it wasn't to the extent that we considered hopping out of line and leaving. The cashiers were super friendly and made sure they got our order right. We chose The Classic with no tomatoes, and the Chik-N Sandwich. Though these sandwiches were a little on the oily side, they didn't bother my slightly more sensitive stomach. Both were made with hefty patties and the additional veggies added to our sandwiches were thick cut, fresh, and juicy. The texture of the patty on The Classic was surprisingly close to that of a beef patty and was just as hearty as one as well. The flavor in this patty was pretty fantastic in and of itself, but the secret sauce really made this burger. The patty on the Chik-N Sandwich was also super similar in texture to an actual chicken patty and was one of the better plant based chicken patties I've had. The batter on it was also super light and crispy and had an excellent crunch with each bite. I'd highly giving Earth Burger a shot, even if you aren't vegan. My non-vegan fiancé enjoyed his Chik-N Sandwich so much that he said he would absolutely return with me the next time I want to go. We can't wait to try more from the menu!

I always enjoy Earth Burger! No matter how busy or slow their traffic is, they always make the food fresh. Everything I've tried is tasty! This time around I decided to indulge in the loaded tater fries, and was surprised by how much of a flavor profile it had. There were French fries, tater tots, fried pickled onions, and then the creamy sauce with "bacon" bits. Everything was super crispy and those pickled onions reallllly upped the flavor.

I came here to this small establishment with my family for my brother who's vegan. He mentioned that this place had really good food and wanted to try. The place itself is pretty small but does have tables inside and outside so a decent amount of seating is available. It was a cold day and we went around 11 am before the lunch rush came in. The place was well kept and clean too. The people were nice, but seeing only 2 people there to handle the food and customers (counter and drive thru) was interesting. They did get our food out fairly quickly, so impressed with that. I had ordered the Ranchero burger, which wasn't too bad. I would say the fries here were the best I had anywhere. They are easy to warm back up as well if looking for leftovers and would come back just for that. I also ordered a peach shake, which wasn't so bad either. They had a chicken wrap I thought was good and my nephew really liked the chicken strips. This place is not so bad for folks to come try, especially if you don't eat meat. I would recommend anyone to come try and definitely would consider coming back again. A good experience all around.

I got the classic burger and it was super delicious. The fries were well seasoned and the peach tea was good, but a little sweeter than I usually drink. Overall if you're looking for a great meat alternative fast food place this is the spot.

Went and got the chick-n tenders meal. The price was very reasonable, the food was hot, so we knew it was freshly made. The staff were very nice and helpful too. Gave me suggestions on what to try next, where to begin considering this was my first time there etc. it was very like calming, peaceful when I went. I'm very satisfied and will go tomorrow to try out some breakfast options.

We swung by for lunch on a friend's recommendation and we're very pleased with our experience. Walking in we were greeted quickly and able to order right away. My wife tried the classic burger combo and I tried the ranchero burger combo. The food came out super quickly from the kitchen. Both burgers were very tasty and the fries were hot and crispy. I will admit I was a bit skeptical on the taste of a plant based burger but they executed it perfectly! There was a bit of a charbroiled flavor to it and the onion rings and sauce on the ranchero were a perfect addition. We both agreed that it was a wonderful lunch (that didn't leave us feeling overly stuffed) and that we would be back again soon!

Completely vegan fast food restaurant with food that tastes amazing! The patties are packed with veggies, the condiments are delicious, everything is fresh and made to order. The crinkle fries are perfect every single time, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The poblano dressing goes well with everything. This is pricey for fast food but these ingredientes are high quality. You won't be disappointed.

    Coconut Soft Serve!

I really like that Earth Burger is an option in SA. When I lived in San Antonio, I frequented Green, and they opened Earth Burger right after I moved away. Luckily, work and personal trips still bring me down to SA a few times a year, and since it's super close to the airport, I manage to stop by on most trips! The chik-no tenders are a great meal on the go, but the burgers are good too. Sure, it's more expensive than McDonald's, but the combo prices are pretty comparable to nicer non-vegan fast food places, which is awesome. And they have a drive-thru and the employees are usually pretty friendly. My favorite thing from Earth Burger is the coconut soft serve though. I can pick one up on the way back to the airport and finish it just before going through security. Yes, I'm eating the cone as I drop off the rental car and walk through the airport. IT'S A PRIORITY, Y'ALL. Anyway, don't sleep on Earth Burger. It's good for herbivores and omnivores alike and I wish we had one closer to me! (Come to Dallas!)

Is the cheese used here vegan also? It was amazing which makes me wonder since I've yet to find a vegan cheese I like.

They have both if I remember correctly

Are the burgers made with soy?

They use Beyond Burger patties, so I don't believe so. Here is the ingredient list: Beyond Burger: pea protein isolate, expeller-pressed canola oil, refined coconut oil, water, yeast extract, maltodextrin, natural flavors, gum arabic, sunflower oil,…

How much of the food is frozen be made in house?

Don't know, don't care. The food is plant based. That's the best part.? You do realize Cows, chickens and fish are not made in house at restaurants that serve animals right? ?

At first it did take me a moment to find the place as the building itself doesn't say the restaurant name (written on a chalk board) but thankfully found it and came at a time when it wasnt crowded. Inside definitely doesn't give restaurant vibes. It gives more of a home vibe and has alot of board games and crayons/paints you can do. Also they have a game console in the back which is pretty cool if you like playing Mario cart. It did seem a bit dark inside as not much lights were on but once sun came out was able to see. The guy that took our order was very nice and helped us understand some of the items on the menu. He even gave us a discount for being first time customers which I appreciated. It take take some time to get our food but when we did it was all fresh and hot. We had ordered a few tacos. My brother had the phish tacos and they were actually pretty good. It almost tasted like real fish and definitely would consider getting the next time I visit. They also have us some salsa which was also delicious and tasted great with all our tacos. I did like the potato and egg I had too. It did throw me off when I tasted it with corn tortilla but it was still good. I prefer potato and egg over the bean and cheese but that's just my preference. I did order the pozole soup with jack fruit and tasted pretty good. It looked really pretty and alot of good stuff in the soup. I do feel it needed some more lime or something else but it was good regardless. Overall it was a better experience than I expected and my family even said they would consider coming back here. Can be pricy depending what you order but worth a try at least once. Another good vegan restaurant.

The food feels like the chefs were given good quality materials, but had no idea what to do with them. We ordered a funghi pizza to share then a cinghiale, a costine (short ribs), and a dentice (bass). Funghi pizza was the only dish that made coming worth it at all. It had a nice flavor, but if you're expecting the notes of an earthy mushroom flavor, don't. It's just a nicer version of a standard cheese pizza topped with some onions and mushroom. The cinghiale was just stunningly mediocre. The meat was flavorful, but the pasta itself was shockingly bland. It was just so... ok. The dentice was the best of the 3 individual dishes, but it is just what you would expect some average short ribs with random sauce to taste. The costine was just terrible. Salty on the outside, yet flavorless on the inside. Avoid at all costs. The service was passable, but they clearly overwork their servers as one server just handles an entire section and is too overwhelmed to be timely. I came to cheer myself up, but honestly it only made dinner comically worse. I seriously can't imagine what would cause someone to rate this as 5 stars. Maybe if they thought Olive Garden was 4.5, then I guess this would barely be a 5 in comparison? Either way, if you're looking for good food for your dinner, keep looking. You won't find it here.

It doesn't end there, because I have yet to discuss the flavors that this place dishes out. If you can imagine that other taquerias in town as as good as mamma's cooking, Plantaqueria is grandma's cooking saying, " I taught them everything they know." The counter service, decor and neon lights transport you to a pueblo that you probably have no business being in but were fortunate enough to get lost in. I feel that the people working to advance this visionary concept are in love with what they do because you get that experience with every bite of fresh, homemade goodness, weather you dine in or take/order out. Dude, fresh corn and flour tortillas, C'mon, man!! And speaking of vision, the owner, Sofia, who looks like she would get IDd at a bar has created something truly unique and incredibly delicious. Food was yummy, not the best ever but definitely not bad. Service with a smile at the counter is…read morealways nice and we had no problem pulling into a parking spot for lunch. I also love the spacious outdoor seating with covered playground for kiddos!! The two main issues I had are the pricing for amount of food (way overpriced for tiny portions of average food) and secondly everything is dirty/sticky. It gives dive bar vibes which is fine but for a family friendly place it is very grimey. Also side note, the homemade "ginger ale" tastes like straight ginger soaked in water so I'd recommend against ordering that.

I visited this restaurant with two vegetarian friends who are visiting from out of town. I've been…read morewanting to check it out for years and now I wish that I'd eaten there sooner! Hugo served us, and he was very polite and helpful. The decor, murals, and paintings were all wonderful. All of the food was so delicious and fresh. The nachos appetizer was huge! It was a gorgeous mountain of food. The three of us couldn't finish the large size. The chips were crispy and the toppings were yummy. I can honestly say that these are the best nachos that I've had in San Antonio. I ordered the soft "chicken" taco plate. The "chicken" had a great texture, and the corn tortillas were excellent. The rice and salad were also good. We really enjoyed the beans! My dining companions ordered the kids' chicken tacos (which was a huge serving, and she took one taco home), and the cauliflower mole. They both loved their meals, but wished that they ate less nachos to make room for their entrees. My dining companions also had pineapple agua fresca, and they enjoyed it, too. I was really curious about desert but I had no room left in my tummy to try any. I can't wait to go back again. Next time, I'll get a small nacho and split desert with someone. Five stars.

Our meal felt more of a health focused meal than an exciting bold flavors meal. Maybe other items would have been more exciting though. I liked the atmosphere out on the patio. My general rating system: 1 star: I would stay away 2 stars: Has some good things about it but I generally don't recommend. 3 stars: Pretty good. I wouldn't go out of my way to go back but a decent place 4 stars: Great place. I would go back. 5 stars: I highly recommend stopping whatever you are doing and making plans to try it out! An Evie favorite!
