While we appreciated that the hostess quickly seated us, the service we received afterward was extremely poor. Unfortunately, we did not catch our server's name, but he was bald with facial hair. After our food was delivered, he never checked on us. We had to ask the hostess for assistance just to get a coffee refill because our server was nowhere to be found. When he eventually returned, he seemed bothered by our request, which only added to our frustration. This level of service was especially disappointing given the cost of the meal. don't apply here as an employee and don't come here as a guest…read more for all employees they pay lowest of the low for hospitality industry standards in miami beach. they don't pay any employees on time. the owners make you beg on a weekly basis just to receive your check that you earned. they will hold your checks for no reason at all. yet they commit tax evasion on all cash paid, bottle sales. they recycle used bottles, don julio, casamigos, etc. and put some cheap no name, house liquor in the more expensive bottles, reseal them, and sell them to guests. as a guest, you're better off taking your money to mr. jones or anywhere else. this place is dirty, ghetto, unsafe, often times empty, the least attractive crowd in all of miami, they allow 16 year olds and 17 year olds in and serve them alcohol. will try and scam you out of every dollar just to skip the like into an empty club. the ownership is terrible, cheap, and could care less about the quality of hospitality that this club is offering. the promoters are bottom of the barrel and will try to scam you at every chance they get. truly a bottom of the barrel club in miami. take your money elsewhere as a guest and save yourself the time and apply at any other club as a potential employee. there's a reason this place has had to re-open, close, and attempt a rebrand multiple times.

(I remember this area when I went to high school nearby and it was just the hood, but I'll leave it at that...don't want any more gray hairs to pop up!) Anyways, Wynwood / Design District has grown up and diversified now and known by the mainstream. Nowadays you're likely to see a DJ performance in front of a local (non green mermaid) coffee shop with live breakdancing, live street painting, performance art such as planking in one of the public spaces, and bands in the other . You're also likely to run into a bunch of majorly cool people around the different galleries too. Don't forget the bunch of new restaurants, plus the food trucks either! Sure, parking can be an adventure and / or overpriced ($10 for an unimproved lot where my "Eleanor" gets dirty?? ) But what would a hot night in the city be without a little adventure!

Learned a lot about the group that owns this spot from our friendly bartenders. Drinks were good, the playlist matched the loungey vibe, and the prices were in line with what you'd expect (gratuity included). Overall, a nice early nightcap. We did pop our head in last year around 10:00 p.m., and the place was ramping up. I've no doubt it's a great scene the later you get.
