    Miami Vice

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY if you are going here for breakfast. This place is conveniently located on the beach strip of Miami. Prime real estate. My wife and I were leaving from the beach and there they were, staring us in the face with a breakfast. We were seated as it was mostly empty. I ordered the two egg breakfast and my wife ordered the yogurt parfait along with a Miami vice. Once the food came that is where things went downhill fast. The powered eggs were horrendous. I strongly do not recommend. The home fries were hard and tough. They look good but taste like yesterday. The two strips of bacon were ok but could have been better. The bread was stale. The Yogurt parfait was HUGE. Tons of granola and fruit on top. Not so much in the middle. The Miami vice was rather weak. The service also sucks. Once you get your food, good luck seeing your waitress again. She stood at the entrance most of the time chatting with friends instead of focusing on her table. Overall I wont be back. This place must be known for the nightlife as its definitely not the food. I wish I checked the reviews before ordering.

Our group was in the mood for some hookah and drinks by south beach and came across this place since they were offering 2 for 1 drinks. All the drinks are $18-20 each even though they do come in Texas size cups. They were all pretty sweet and I honestly didn't get much of a buzz even after drinking 2. The service was pretty good, our waitress was attentive and made sure we had drinks at our table the entire time. The hookah was absolute trash. It was super expensive ($60) and tasted like charcoal. The flavor honestly lasted maybe 15-20 minutes. Even after complaining and telling them that it rated burnt; the hookah didn't get any better. The live music was definitely a plus, had good singers and dancers; had us on the dance floor. Would not come back.

If you're a beach goer this is a really cute location with a nice vibe and outdoor ambience. However the service is pretty bad. I stopped in to grab a bite to eat. I saw they had hookah so also ordered one of those as well as a cocktail since happy hour started while there. I was seated quickly since it was just me. However once seated it took forever for the waitress to come over to greet and take my order. I ordered a bottle of sparkling water, a hookah, and I asked if it were possible to sub the fries on the tempura shrimp platter with maybe a side salad. She said no, but sounded unsure, so I asked if she were certain so she said no and that she'd check for me. She came back some time later with the shrimp platter with fries. I said, you were supposed to let me know if I could sub the fries I never actually placed the order. She said oh sorry but sat the plate down anyway. I didn't make a fuss. At this point I was starved. Mind you still no water which I asked for again and it finally appeared. The shrimp were just fried shrimp. Not tempura battered. Nothing to write home about but not horrible. The hookah I can say was pretty smooth. No complaints there. I then ordered a cocktail, that came out eventually. Each time I needed something I had to search for and flag down the server. She didn't just check on my table. Mind you there were only a couple more occupied tables outside. Finally got her attention for some ketchup and asked if she could keep an eye on my table so I could run to the restroom. I come back maybe 3 mins later and the whole table was cleared to include my souvenir cup I'd had from a previous establishment. Again I'm looking for her and telling the other employees the issue. Finally she appeared saying everything could be made over. I'm pretty over it and just ready to go at this point. I ask for a manager who comes over. I was met with excuses but still tried to remain pleasant. He said he could remake everything, I asked how long because I was definitely ready to go. He said give it a couple minutes or I can leave and pay nothing. I let him know I come places with every intention on paying. He then offered half off my bill. Replaced everything which I took to go. I Paid my check and still tipped although the service was super lack luster. I appreciate the accommodation by the manager, although I wouldn't go back here.

To start off our lil vacy, we decided to go out to eat and get our hookah on! We decided to dress up and walk around to see what spot catches our eyes the most. We walked all way down the main street and this place was calling our name. To the live performance to the vibration of this place! One look at it and we knew this was the best choice for our first night in Miami!! We were seated right away! We didn't have a big appetite but we were in the mood to drink! That's what we did! We got appetizers to try out the food, which was soooo good. We also ordered a hookah too because we haven't done hookah since the last time we're in Miami. That was a few years ago, so yea it was overdue! I have to say I love the food, the vibe, and the service was ok not the best. This restaurant is right next to the beach, has live performances, and lil vendors trying to get you to buy things off them. Once guy was showing us magic tricks that were really good! Another lady was selling roses and my bf of course had to buy me some!!

The bar is nice and the outdoor patio is really cool. There's live music all the time on their stage. The service good and the food was good as well. Bit pricey for what you get tbh. If prices were a bit better I'd likely move this rating up. Atmosphere and music tends to be the best thing here.

    Amanda R.

I was surprised to see such a low rating on this place. Our experience was great, but only went for drinks and we sat at the bar. Loved the live music and decor outside. Bartender was super friendly and asked for feedback on the drinks.

As one gets older , one's tastes get more sophisticated and what would have been OK twelve years back, well...Yes. it's an Ocean Drive "tourist trap" with the sidewalk hostesses. Yes, the automatic gratuity is now 20%. If you want to play tourist for a day, enjoy one (maybe two) gigantic mojitos while recovering from a Miami Dolphins' loss on a rainy Sunday while paying a chicken wing bet Oceans Ten is still OK. The mojitos were decent enough to drown the Phins game, and the caprese salad (#balance) was actually pretty fresh and served with a a slightly sweet balsamic vinegar. Fries were OK, classic sports bar food! The wings were adequate to pay a friendly wager - more breading than chicken. My waiter came by once or twice between the service and the bill, and was reminded that the automatic gratuity was not just for him but the whole team. Of course, being on Ocean Drive there's plenty of peoplewatching, and they have plenty of TV's to watch the games.

Amazing food once again, visited again after 12 years and food is top notch still. The service is amazing the bartender is still awesome even after 12 years Christian thanks for the excellent drinks and making virgin drinks for the girls. Live music and an amazing vibe all night long. I won't wait another 12 years. Peace!

The fries were nice and crispy, and I had them with more than a couple of the little packs that reminded me of elementary school instead of a squeeze bottle like I'm used to from other restaurants. I asked for bbq sauce to dip the fries, and got it after I was done with the fries so I used it instead with the burger. I asked for said burger with no pickles and medium well. While the temperature of the burger was as requested, the burger was overly salty and the American cheese seemed like the squeezable "cheese whiz" type. Also guess what offensive condiment was in the bottom bun? Yes the pickles! While I started to eat the burger keto style (without the bun) I left most of it. While the waitress said she had put the order as no pickle, maybe the kitchen messed up my request.

They've done a good job with the menu in that it still has all those bar foods that you look for in a place like this, but they've put some thought into elevating a number of items (e.g. the short rib poutine!)
