He explained to me everything that needed to be done and about his research to find the exact colors I need for my powder coating. It wasn't just him that gives this place 5 stars. But it's also his employees that all approached me as I walked in, they greeted me with smiles and were super friendly asking questions about what I'm having done. When I first brought my car in for an oil leak, I was told it was only the oil pan gasket. So I had…read morethat replaced, but the leak continued and even got a little worse. I brought it back in, and at that point I was given a long list of additional items that needed to be replaced. I ended up paying $2,020.46 for the engine oil pan gasket, passenger-side valve cover gasket, and driver-side valve cover. Even after all that work, the car still leaked, and I was then told I also needed to replace the rear main seal ($941.52) and cam plug seal ($396.27). On top of that, there was an oil stain left on my seat. I had to bring the car back again to have it shampooed, and afterward my vehicle had an "old gym sock" smell that lingered. Unfortunately not a great experience. I would NOT recommend this place.

When I questioned them as to why, Will in service advised me that they are not authorized to fix anything under warranty. When I questioned him about why I had to pay $796.74 when they accomplished nothing, he replied that they had diagnosed the problem and spent time on it. PURE BS. DON'T TRUST THEM.

on a friday afternoon at 3:30pm in jackson, tn. a small bushing on my alignment machine stripped…read moreout causing my alignment machine to be useless. we could not get it locally for 3 days and i already had multiple jobs lined up that required alignments! i googled the part i needed and equipment city showed to have it in stock. i called and talked to john who was extremely helpful and directed me to the correct part (i gave him the part number for the bushing for the opposite side). he was able to ship the part from nixa, mo to jackson, tn overnight through ups and i got the part saturday morning at 9:30am. ups had already made their pick up for the day so they had to physically drive it to the ups store to get it shipped. i was able to complete all the work i had promised out because these guys went above and beyond to help a stranger on the phone. all of this for a $7.00 bushing. well done guys. michael ragan old hickory car care in jackson, tn

I was told there was problems with my engine and they recommended that I spend another $400 to have it fixed. I declined and they said it would be a few more minutes before they had my tire changed. Another 30min passed and I went back up to the front desk to see what was happening. I was told the tires that I requested weren't in stock and they had to drive across town to their warehouse to get them. Another hour passed and I got my tires. I try to be a patient person but 2 hours and 30min seems excessive for two tires.

In the process they found that my front brake pads were dangerously thin. So I got front bearings AND front brakes for about $580+. Through the whole process they kept in good communication with me. I would definitely recommend this place of business.
