Decent coffee in an unexpected place. Friendly staff and great customer service. I got a latte and yogurt parfait. Yogurt was ok. Not amazing. The latte was pretty good. There were several milk choices, spices (like nutmeg and cinnamon) and more. It's refreshing to see such a variety in a place by the side of the road. Cozy sitting area. There is a part walking distance. I took my coffee for a walk and got to watch ducks swim in a pond. Overall - nice neighborhood coffee shop to bring a friend or read a book. read more

I saw this cofee shop on Yelp and just had to try it. Its not far from me, so I had to take a quick run over there. when you first turn turn the corner to get into the parking lot, there is a sign that says "Do Not Enter" and so I quickly realized that you need to drive into the parking lot from the back, if you are coming from the opposite side of the street. The place looks like an older cafe feel, and the place seems to be decked out with Branding merchandise. There were some people there having cofee and working, but plenty of seats when I came, even though I was not staying. The gentleman behind the counter was very friendly and offered some bakery goods. It appears that they do bake some goods onsite, so I will have to try it next time. He also offered some healthy options, since I mentioned I was watching what I eat. I ordered a Flat White, which some places think its just a Latte, but they seem to know how to make it very well. Don't go to a chain when you are in a new area, try the local places. This is what Eagle is and it is great. It is located in a little strip mall and the inside is adorable. There is some great art on the walls and lots of seating if you are not in a rush. They have some coffee that will remind you that caffeine is called a drug for a reason. I am awake now. Oh my. But they also have a great hot chocolate that any kid or adult will love. It is made not from some package, but fresh and wonderful. They have a nice selection of baked goods, from items you can lie to yourself and say, ya, this is healthy, to my favorite chocolate chip muffins and orange scones. The service is great. So go there. This is a great place to hop on wifi for a couple of hours, get a little work done and enjoy a great cup of coffee- or in my case, hot chocolate. Honestly, the best cup of hot chocolate I've had anywhere. Definitely on the sweet side, but if I wanted something that would make my lips pucker, I'd chew on a lemon. I also had a bacon egg & cheese on a bagel and it was really good.... fluffy egg, the bacon didn't taste like it came out of a microwave... very well done. The best cold brew I think I've had outside my own home (I think I make a good cold brew haha). No acidity and very easy to drink black, so adding milk is definitely optional. Smooth and delicious. My wife and I popped in for coffee to go and she had a cappuccino which was also very good. I generally prefer cold and refreshing and I'll drink cold brew in the middle of winter. It's on the semi-highway, so easier to get to if you're going down the correct way on 35, but coming from the other way is fine if the road isn't busy, which is what we did today. They have a modest amount of parking, but also right next to residential areas, so probably easy enough to park behind I figure. When we went, there were plenty of spots. There's also a Philadelphia Pretzel and a Rita's in this mini complex, so I could see it getting crowded in the small parking lot. After I sipped the cold brew, I ended up buying a bottle of the cold brew concentrate to take home. Looking forward to that :) read more

My daughter and I stopped in on a weekday afternoon and she enjoyed a beautiful summer salad with fresh strawberries, blueberries and nuts- walnuts, almonds, cashews, pistachios, ... with a light and bright balsamic vinaigrette dressing. Traveling for work, I end up in random areas of NY and NJ depending on any given day. Each morning becomes the "I need coffee...and don't want it from the hotel lobby" mission. Thanks to Yelp, Eagle was closest to my hotel, and made the morning. Awesome selection, tasty coffee, selection galore BUT in the best way, groggy me was able to say "I want...uh...a big dark roast" and the extremely friendly and helpful barista/cashier said "got it. I have exactly the right one for you. Our selection is huge". Perfect. Followed up by French macaroons, he mentioned they get from an NYC bakery, and a few more treats. Wonderful place, great coffee, and a huge selection, but the help for those like me that don't want to read a menu, and "no worries, I know exactly the right one" helpfulness. They catered a breakfast spread for our office yesterday and we normally have pretty pedestrian bagels etc. but I could not resist having a glazed donut as that is an office unicorn. SOO good. My wife had a craving for a krispy Kreme type jelly with the glaze outside. They had one of those brought it home and she said great. Nice spread with good variety and I would order this if you can. I showed up at 915 am and ordered 2 coffees and 3 buttered rolls. The place had no coffee ready. It took 15 minutes to get a coffee that wasn't even close to hot. The people were happy to make me a hot cup. The place just didn't seem like it was ready to do business that day. The end result 2 coffee.... 3 rolls... 14 bucks and 20 minutes to get done (with no line). I don't think I'll be going back here. read more

Very clean, great music, and solid food. I had an egg white sandwich, it took a few minutes to cook but was well worth it. The coffee? So many choices. I've never picked a bad one. The staff is quick to lend any information if you can't make your mind up. The owner is so nice. Stopped in to grab a "quick" cup of coffee while I waited for the Philly Pretzel Factory to open next door. I ordered a simple medium decaf cup of coffee. I watched the clerk grind the beans, and slowly pour the coffee. It reminded me a lab assignment in college. I waited patiently and hoped the coffee would be worth the unexpected wait. I have to say, "wow" that was one of the best cups of coffee I've ever had. It was well worth the price and the wait. They have a great selection, and if you're not too sure what to order, the menu has a clear description and typing for each type of coffee.
