I want to give a shout out to Scott and the service team at Parsons. My family was wrapping up our…read morevacation Thursday, one daughter was driving in from Minnesota to spend the last couple of days with us. We had to be out by Saturday. When she pulled into the resort I could hear that she had grinding coming from the rear area of the vehicle. After calling other garages in the area, all booked out to later the following week, I was lucky enough to speak with Scott . Their service department had a similar timeline but he said if I got over there asap he could have a tech take a look at it. Now mind you, service closes at four and I roll in at about three, he hears how bad it was and said "Hey we're gonna take care of you." They had most of the work done before closing but ended up needing one more part which was installed Friday morning. Great job !!

After a weeklong vacation over the 4th of July, my family & I were headed home to Central Illinois…read more After turning onto the road to start out 400 mile drive home, we heard a loud bang under the front of the vehicle. I got out & looked, and noticed a broken rod hanging next to the drivers side tire of our GMC Acadia. We SLOWLY drove to Parsons, HOPING they would be open on the Saturday of July 4th weekend.... Lucky for us, they were. And they fit us in right away since we were trying to get home. They quickly diagnosed the issue. The Service Advisor, Ashley, brought me out to the service floor & showed me the damage- Broken driver's side sway bar, plus I would need to replace the sway link AND Driver CV Axle. What was I going to do? I had to get home. It was a holiday weekend, I'm from out of state, and I HAD to get home. They could pretty much charge me whatever they wanted, because I was stuck. They basically had me bent over a barrel...... But here's the thing- They didn't try to take advantage of the situation! Ashley and the service tech told me that although they COULD fix it, they wouldn't be able to get parts until Tuesday. They also were upfront & honest and told me that although it is important that everything is repaired as soon as possible, I WOULD be able to drive home to Illinois SAFELY and have everything fixed there. PLUS, they gave me a parts quote with the replacement part numbers to make everything easier when we got back. I was thrilled just to hear that I was able to drive the car home. They were fast, friendly, & HONEST. And when they handed me the paperwork & my keys, I asked them what I owed- "Nothing. Just drive safe" was their answer. THANK YOU ASHLEY! YOU PARSONS OF EAGLE RIVER! The whole thing took you less than 20 minutes, but I will remember this for a lifetime.

Not only did they get me in the next day I arrived before the shop even opened. Prepared to wait in my car for 15 min till they opened I was surprised when they immediately got me in. This shop goes above and beyond to take care of people! The staff was pleasant and made sure I was comfortable and had some fresh coffee while I waited. Then in no time they had me off and on my way to work. I just can't say enough about the staff and quality of service from this business. They come highly recommended not just the service department but sales as well.

I was told everything was ok, and left. 4000 miles later, I was charge by the Toyota dealer in Chicago $260 to replace and install the new tire locks. Rhinelander Toyota had "totally barbequed" them (this is what I was told by the Chicago dealership). In addition, I would have been UNABLE to replace the tire if it got flat, and I could have been stranded far away in northern Wisconsin. Rhinelander Toyota refused to take responsibility (I wanted to be reimbursed $260) initally, then offered $60. I simply want my $260 but they are being rude and disrespectful. I have filed a complaint with the BBB. This is why people think corporations are stacked against them. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

STILL waiting on a call back from regional after the dealer gouged me on a diagnostic, diagnosed the WRONG part (saying I would need to pay $1700 to fix it), and claimed my warranty was expired (I have 15,000 miles and a year and a half left on a bumper to bumper warranty). I wound up having to go air my pathfinder to a local mechanic to get the correct element fixed, and I WILL be demanding they cover the repair. It's unfortunate that this is our only option for Nissan in the northwoods. They're obviously scammers.

It was a Friday afternoon and I was only in town for the weekend. I decided on the vehicle and about 3pm. I specifically said I would only be financing thru Ripco and said they would be closing at 430pm so we need to get this done while they were open. The Sales Manager did give me the "numbers" for 45 minutes. I agreed on them and Butch have my info to the F&I person. He specifically told him that I was financing thru Ripco and to get the ball rolling on this asap. F&I did not contact Ripco until 5pm after they had already closed (I heard him try to call them on speaker phone). I again said only Ripco, but then on Saturday morning F&I called me and said he "got me approved" ( credit score is not an issue here) from a different back and a ridiculously high interest rate. They lost they deal because they made me wait around and lolly gagged playing the game of we will wait till good credit union is closed so we can push him into a loan at a bank where we get a commission. This isn't acceptable customer service. I feel bad that Butch lost the deal because his management likes to play games. If you are going to purchase I vehicle here I would recommend Butch for your salesman but arrange your own financing ahead of time and don't let the dealership do it. Additionally, I did have to have so service done on my existing vehicle and Service Advisor Katie was excellent!!!
