I signed up for a player's card but no great freebies right away. Dillion was the one who signed me up for my card, he was nice. Alyssa was the bartender who took care of my friend's & I. I really liked her. She was friendly, engaged in conversation with us & was quick to wait on us & bring us our drinks. I played some video poker but didn't win anything. Bathrooms are single, male and female and they're strict on boys using the boys & girls using the girls per a sign they have hung up....lol There is one pool table & a few tall table tops you can hang out at. It does seem more of a dive bar with a younger crowd, like 20 year olds. My friend's & I were prob the oldest ones on the bar side.....lol I love the outdoor décor, so cute!!

Let's just say...where has this cover band been all my life?! The five of us got in line at 7:30pm, just to get a good spot on the floor right when the doors opened at 8:00pm. Admission to get in was free and we were allowed to bring in our own water and snacks. A small bar is also located inside. I drove here so I couldn't really drink any alcohol or cocktails, plus I left my water in the car, so I got myself a soda, which was only $3 plus tip. What a deal! Club Madrid is one of the coziest clubs I've been to so far. The surround sound was perfect (not too quiet or too loud) and the dance floor is very spacious. Seeing everybody dance along to their favorite classic rock songs was totally awesome, and I got to dance myself and get up close with the band at one point. As someone who has parents that listened to a bunch of classic rock when I was younger and being hooked onto it ever since, I knew and sang along to every song that they played. Some songs on their set list were Back in Black by AC/DC, Any Way You Want It by Journey, Sweet Emotion by Aerosmith, and Smoke on the Water by Deep Purple. They took the stage at 9:00pm, where they played for about two hours (no intermission) before closing their show with Hot For Teacher by Van Halen. Two people in our meetup group had to leave a little early, but myself and two others stayed for the entire duration of the show. Hint: if you want to see YBR perform, their next show will be at Boulder Station on 4/25/25. They are AMAZING and you will NOT be disappointed.

You can also sit or stand at a table top. The bar opens up and has some big screens (we watched the winter X-Games hosted in Aspen) and a great view of the stage in Club Madrid. I enjoyed a Bloody Mary with extra olives. The bartender is fast, friendly, and makes a tasty drink. He keeps a clean and stocked bar. You can tell he enjoys his job. Everyone was singing along with the band and the seats were full. The only draw back on this particular visit was the smoking. I had to leave. I was getting a headache. The ventilation at this time is temporarily hindered due to the wall that is up right behind that area. The Casino is doing a wonderful job of renovating and unfortunately until that area is complete it's not as enjoyable. You must checkout The Sports book! It is amazing. So nice! I'm looking forward to 80's night when the construction is done.

They had two bars, one downstairs one upstairs. There's two levels upstairs and downstairs The staircase is amazing. You can take some really nice pictures on it. We got lucky getting there early, because it was really starting to fill up inside and out once it started! Note that The Speakeasy is 21+ only. We sat with a guy who was sitting alone at one of the tables out on the patio on the first floor - it turns out his girlfriend works here. We were all given a round of tequila shots, where I selected the silver tequila, their lightest one that they had available. They did two more rounds of tequila shots later that night, but I only did one because I drove here. One of my friends had another Jack Daniel's, which was her third one of the night. Their full drinks come with a cool light-up marble that changes color. While my friends went to go dance along with the live band that was playing various music from the 80's and 90's, I stayed behind and ordered some food, which was well needed for me. I ordered the grill cheese sandwich (stylized as THE Grilled Cheese on their menu) with fries on the side. Various cheeses were inside this sandwich, such as brie, mozzarella, and boursin. A guy dressed up as a squirrel saw me eating this and we struck up a short conversation on how he makes grilled cheese sandwiches the easy way. Though I don't eat these very often, I took his advice. Later on, our waitress approached me and told me that the bartenders were getting ready to close out all open tabs at the bar, and that it would be a great time for me to grab a drink before they stopped all sales for the night. I told her that I would be happy to have one, but I had to drive home. This was a great bar to hold an afterparty! Would love to come back again here next time. The band played well too and I recognized all the songs that they performed.

My friend's got a table this past Saturday & we're told that it's $25 minimum per person which I think is ridiculous. What if some of your people in your party don't drink alcohol? Spending $25 in non-alcoholic drinks is crazy. I think it should be @ least a $25 minimum per table. I decided to get a bucket of seltzers (5 total) & was able to mix & match with some High Noons & White Claws and the waitress said they were both the same price per can. I would have thought that the High Noons would have cost more since they're vodka base. I went with a bucket because one of my friend's said the cocktail waiters wasn't very attentive. I saw her come to our table once. The place wasn't completely full. The one thing that I didn't like was the bartender opened all my seltzers so when the I r started to melt they were trying to tip over which would of resulted in them spilling and ice water filling up into the cans....dumb Staff has always been nice when I've been in here. Two weekends ago I sat @ the star during Zowie Bowie. Female bartender was attentive. Place has always been clean. It's non-smoking. There is a small dance floor if you want to get your groove on. I like this little show room. I've never seen a cover charge to get inside which is always nice. Bathrooms are right outside. There is a wheel chair accessible ramp to get in & out.

It's kind of hard to find throughout the casino, so your best bet is to follow the signs and look for the escalators that take you down to the events center. Once you exit the escalators, you will see a bunch of different halls/ballrooms so make sure to find the right one for the event you're attending. I was attending an gala event at this center called "Healthcare Hereos" to honor local administrators, doctors, medical personnell, and volunteers who have served our community during the ongoing COVID panademic. I was honored to be able to attend and support a family member who was being recgonized at this event for all his hard work in the LV community. The hall/ballroom itself was absolutely beautiful and the stage is at the perfect height to allow guests to be able to see the presentation from any part of the room. The banquet staff were amazing and so kind to constantly attend to the guests needs for water, drinks, dinner etc. Overall the food was so delicious and I think the event itself was a wonderful way to celebrate and honor these heroes. Thank you to GVR and their amazing staff for providing space and service for this wonderful event. I would be glad to attend more events here in the future!
