They kept telling me that no one else had this issue before. And they implied I should not order steak for take out. The manager said there's nothing they could do about it. Well there is - warn the customer about this if they order the steak for take out. Or just don't do take out steaks. It's not a problem solving way of how you treat the customers. It's a small, elegant space that feels both intimate and deliberate, with every detail carefully thought through. What we ordered: foie gras, octopus, Caesar salad, and a range of steaks. The meal begins with amuse-bouche -- little bites that quietly announce the kitchen knows what it's doing. The food: exceptional across the board. The foie gras is rich and perfectly seared, the octopus tender with a bit of char, and the steaks are cooked and seasoned with precision. Every course feels intentional and balanced. You get what you pay for here -- and it isn't cheap. Atmosphere: the room is compact but beautifully designed, with warm lighting, dark wood, and an inviting sense of calm. The crowd is an eclectic mix of people who can clearly afford to enjoy themselves -- couples celebrating, small groups, a few well-dressed professionals, and the occasional Leafs jersey on game nights. It's upscale without feeling exclusive or pretentious. Service: on par with the food -- confident, well-timed, and polished. The team moves with quiet efficiency and professionalism throughout the night. Overall: not the best value in town, but easily one of the best steak experiences in Toronto. Perfect for a special dinner, an anniversary, or softening the sting of a tough loss at Scotiabank Arena.

Atmosphere was beautiful and chic. Recommended by all, lobster three ways was what we selected. Infamous lobster tower with fries and two other lobster options. All delicious. The fried fish was also excellent. Steak was good and nice they served it on top of a candle so that it keeps warm or continue to cook. Same with the tea that's served - displayed on a set that keeps the tea hot. We ordered e-noodles and veggies. The veggies were cooked well. You can tell they get high quality food deliveries from their vendors. The noodles were just ok. Their specialties lie in the steak and seafood. Its pricey but good experience to try at least once if you're in the area.

For our mains, the 10oz ribeye and 8oz tenderloin were seasoned and cooked to absolute perfection--compliments to the chef! They came with a lovely side of baby potatoes and vegetables. There is upstairs seating and reservations optional to make; but from what I saw it didn't seem like they're prepared so why bother making a reservation. Based on reviews, got the Singapore chili crabs with the king oyster mushrooms (under the crab it soaked up all the goodness), spicy clams garlic veggies and the beef in black pepper/garlic. Crab was delicious, and the sauce called for rice to be mixed in after the crab was done. It filled us, but not too much. Next time we might try other sauces, but the Singapore chili sauce was killer. Totally worth the money and the hassle. In a mall full of other restaurants this place was the busiest.
