Andrew diagnosed the problem remotely and if he had bet me regarding his remote conclusion, he would have won the bet. Andrew is not your typical e-bike tech if there is such a thing. We did have some communication problems. Bottom line is that he fixed a BMS problem after I had already done an extensive amount of troubleshooting and after having a paid consultation with a rather well known e-bike mechanic on YouTube who missed the problem ENTIRELY. So, especially, if you have already delved into the problem with some basic electrical/mechanical knowledge/skills and done some research, as I had done, and are still struggling to get your e-bike going, then I would recommend Andrew. Save your judgments and you will probably end up saving some money too! And end up with an e-bike that runs like a champ! read more

This person lies. I sent videos and pictures and asked if they can change the tires and if they have worked on the scooter before. Yes many time even when I took the scooter out. But then at the last minute said they can and it says that on the site even through I messaged them directly. Waste of time. read more

I was looking for shops that would repair my e-bike motor issue where some hall sensor wires were exposed/severed causing it not to work and throw out controller errors. The way it looked I was certain it was going to be a new motor purchase because I didn't have the know how to repair it being so close to the hub. So I searched and found this individual and read the reviews and I had my doubts because I tend to read the negative ones 1st. Then read the positive ones. I was desperate not to spend $ on a new motor. He was the ONLY one that said he was able to do such a repair and actually at a decent rate. He told me he could work on it at my home but I had limited space and he said he could pick up and drop off when done so that I can test it to make sure it worked. Told him that it was a major time consuming task to put it back in and didn't want him to wait. Told him I pay him and pick it up when he is done and call and let him know once it is installed and tested. So I was told I could bring it over to his residence and left it with him overnight since I was not going to wait for it and had appointments the following day. I had low expectations and basically if it did not work after his fix I'd just deem it as "diagnostic fee" and bear down and buy a new motor. He was done with the repair and called me early afternoon and I went to pick up and was told he did the best he could to separate the wires that were touching and the wires were not that bad. Told me to be careful since that area of the wire is fragile. So I installed it, tested with no load, and then rode it for a mile and it seems ok for now. read more

I strongly advise staying away from this company. Writing a negative review is not something I take pleasure in, but I feel it is necessary to warn others about my experience. My gut feeling was off from the start, but I ignored it and proceeded to arrange a service with this provider after several messages back and forth. They attempted to explain away the fake reviews flagged by Yelp as an issue with Yelp itself, but it was clear that all these posts were made within the same period. What initially appealed to me was their competitive pricing and the fact that they were willing to come to me. I needed an ebike conversion kit installed and provided them with videos from the company showing the installation process, along with a detailed list of components that required installation. The day before the scheduled service, we had a video chat to ensure they understood the project. Traveling to me via public transit was not an issue, but since they had to travel a considerable distance from Outer Sunset in San Francisco to San Jose, I decided to pay for an Uber from Bart to my house and back. Although they had a lot of questions and seemed disorganized during their travels, I attributed it to the multiple connections they had to make. When they arrived at my house, I was taken aback by their appearance as they were dressed in cowboy boots and a mini skirt with their backside exposed. However, I disregarded it as I did not want to judge their fashion choices. The real problem arose when they started working on my bike. They claimed to have watched a lot of installation videos but did not pay attention to the details. They already knew everything, which was a major red flag. During our discussion, it was evident that they did not fully comprehend the product and described the opposite of what was shown in the installation videos. They attempted to install the wheel liners on the rim but struggled and scratched the entire side of the rim with a flathead screwdriver. When I pointed out the damage, they downplayed it and suggested using touch-up paint to fix it. At that point, I had seen enough and sent them home. To add insult to injury, they had the audacity to ask for $10 as compensation. I made it clear that they could only have the money if they paid for a new rim. In conclusion, I strongly advise against using this company's services. They clearly do not know what they are doing and could damage your bike. read more

Fixed my issue with my e bike battery, fast service. Wasn't what I was expecting but my issue was resolved.

Great and honest service! I got a response within half an hour. He evaluated my electric bike and found a simple issue that was wrong and charged me a fair price. Very honest and he was able to diagnose the issue quickly, a loose charging cable. he cleaned the cable and fixed the port. I also appreciated that it was located in the outer Sunset, not on a busy street, and easy to get to. I will tell others at work about this great place! read more

After reading his reply to my review I feel the need to update my review. I'm including a photo of this guy's "professional" work. The charger that I paid him for. Two stripped wires with no ground at all. So very professional. I went to him asking him to simply change the fuses in my battery and after 2 hours he tells me it's not the battery that's bad, it's my charger. Then tells me it's gonna be a bit longer. So yeah, I was tired of walking string his neighborhood waiting so I took the bus to Haight St. to window shop. 2 more hours go by and he calls to tell me to come get it and this is what u get for 4 hours. He rigged this thing up in 15 minutes and then watched TV for 3 1/2 hours then called me. Wasted most of my day and never fixed my battery. Just conned me into buying this garbage charger. Also when you contact PayPal to tell them of an issue with a business they tell you it will take at least a week to review your case and decide if they will step in and get your money back. This guy must have had lots of bad business in the past because Paypal have me my money back immediately. Within minutes. That's unheard of. You take this guy your business at your own risk. I wanted to warn people and i have. read more

I'm so glad that I found Andrew to work on my bikes! He's very knowledgeable, especially about e-bikes, and he has been super responsive both times I needed service - always texting back within a couple hours. His service is also very convenient, as he will come to your house or office to work on your bike. And because he doesn't have the overhead of a shop, his rates are much lower than the other e-bike repair shops that have given me quotes. Highly recommended, whether you're having issues with an analog bike or an e-bike. read more
