Great food and ambiance! With beautiful city park right across the street.

So dang good. This was such a great find! The deli is super cute, crisp and clean with a super cute gift shop inside. The food was great! I would love to see them add more vegan options since it's a restaurant that vegans would especially love! But the veggie sandwich was amazing, with fresh pesto and hummus giving it incredible flavor. The summer salad was good too. One of our friends got the Cobb salad and really loved it. The little downtown is super cute, it kind of reminded us of the city center in Back to the Future, super charming!! It's well worth the drive off the freeway to make a quick visit, and the deli adds the perfect touch. We really loved it and highly recommend it!!

    Brisket wrap. Delicious!

Just about 10 mins off of the freeway, this little gem in the heart of the downtown is a must for lunch. They have an extensive menu to chose from, so we decided to do a wrap so that we have a lighter lunch option. Slice of pickle and Lays potato chips rounds out the meal. The staff were friendly and the restrooms were clean. A good spot to stretch your legs and fill your tummy!

Just moved to a new office off the square in Rupert and was happy to find E Street Deli open. Great cranberry turkey sandwich. I was surprised to find a can Butter chardonnay. Thanks

Very good! I usually get the turkey sandwiches on Caibatta bread. They are usually pretty fast. A little pricey, but what isn't these days.

During the summer they have a covered patio and often have live music. Most tables have a view of one or both of the community's two prides: the city square and the refurbished Wilson Theater. If you go in before 5pm you eat and drink in the bar. After 5pm they open up the dinning room and no under age persons are allowed in the bar. Regarding food: when the owners stick with dishes developed by themselves they excel - finger steaks, potachos, etc. But a majority of their menus is mainstream food service items which is 'okay.' In the past they have employed chefs who created fantastic specials but recently the specials are food service items too as are their desserts But it's the best dining experience in the Mini-Cassia (Minidoka and Cassia countries) area. Service is good when you get a waitress who's made it past their training, but turnover (except in the bar) keeps servicing level moderate. The bar has somehow retained a cadre of good bartenders. The owners are community stewards and take pride in the renovation work they did on this and their other restaurant, E Street Deli. As a local I appreciate there is a restaurant of its caliber in our little town. As a recovering restaurant and bar owner I can appreciate the challenges they face in staffing, training and developing from scratch dishes that appeal to the locals. It would be a five star in the Mini-Cassia area and somewhere between a three and four when compared to other southern Idaho restaurants. If you are looking for the closest thing to fine dinning in the Mini-Cassia area this is your first stop.
