It's a tiny location. I got there before they opened.

Friday Jun 20 '25. First morning in London. I left hotel in Kensington before 7 am to get here for The Full English breakfast. My wife and family thought I was nuts to travel 45 minutes across London for an English fry up. Buy hey needs must. Let me start by saying it was absolutely worth it. This was the best restaurant fry up I've ever had. And I'm Irish. It has everything and is easily customizable. I don't like the fried tomato and hate wasting food so I didn't have it. ( See photo). Cumberland sausages, the creme de la creme of sausages, great bacon, black and white pudding, Heinz beans. Wow. Apart from the food this is a family run enterprise and they are a bunch of characters. Nev heard my accent, and spent several minutes narrowing down what part of Ireland I'm from. Why? He suspected, from my accent, he knew where I was from. Because he hears my accent and intonation and expressions daily from his lovely wife who's family come from around the corner from me in Crossmaglen. I'm from Carrickmacross. ( Now living in LA in US) Nev even rattled off the rhyme "From Carrickmacross to Crossmaglen" I finished by adding the line " There are more rogues than honest men ". Without doubt hands down the best fry up outside of an Irish or British home.

    The full English!

What an incredible English breakfast! I saw the restaurant featured on CBS Saturday Morning and it lived up to the hype!!!! The one thing that needs to be made clear is that it is a "cash only" establishment!!!

I never write reviews, but my experience here so was exceptional I knew I had to! I had arrived right when they opened on a chilly Friday morning and was the first one there, so I truly got to experience the welcomeness and hospitality of Nevio and his family. He makes you feel as though you're an old friend, instantly connects with anyone, and will leave you well fed with a smile on your face. I got the full English breakfast and it was amazing, but it's Nevio and his family that is what sets this place apart. I could go on and on, but trust me that this is THE place to go. Went ahead and got some pesto to go and some shirts to bring back with me to the states, and he gave me tons of places to visit while on my trip. I would travel all the way to London just to come here again.

Stumbled across this famous cafe in Bethnal Green road, fantastic staff bubbly, chatting away to all the customers. 125years old this year amazing!!! Food was spot on, way too much for me to finish but the lady working Anna let me take it home for later. I will definitely come back, but avoid Saturday and Friday as it's so busy they que down the road.

I wanted to love this place so bad, but unfortunately my experience was far from this. When my friend and I arrived, there was a line (as expected). When our turn came, we were welcomed and seated in their tiny but cozy outdoor seating area. We got our drinks, and placed our food order. 20 mins passed and then 30 mins. We noticed the party of 10 that was seated some time after us all had their food, which I found was a little odd so we decided to ask the status of ours. The older gentleman we asked didn't pay much attention to us, quickly saying someone will check on us and shifting his attention elsewhere. 40 mins passed, and we asked somebody else who also practically ignored us, saying our server would check on us. More time passed, this time I watched as the large party seated after us paid and left. Meanwhile we still had yet to be served our meal let alone be checked on by said server. Our food finally came out after almost an hour of waiting. I ordered the full english breakfast, which was pretty generously sized and had a good taste. I wouldn't go as far as to say it was amazing though. Given the crappy service, I definitely don't think this place is worth going out of your way for. I get that it's a small mom and pop shop and wasn't expecting the food to come out quicky, but the fact that we were basically ignored mutliple times just did not sit right with me. Meanwhile, as I waited I watched as staff came up to other tables here and there, laughing and having small talk. They seem like nice staff, just seems like they pick and choose who gets great service.

This place is cash only. When one of the dishes came, we realize we had no flatware or napkins. The server said nothing about coming back with them. When she did, she placed unceremoniously on the table. The servings were generous. The food was terrible. The place was a dive. Some customers knew the people working in the kitchen. We were seated next to the kitchen window. There was this customer who talked so loudly to a staff member from the window. It felt like we were in a pub. It wasn't worth the effort to get here.

I have to talk about this place...E. Pellicci Cafe. What a lovely, fantastic little spot! We visited London this past August, so this review is a little late. We made the 45 minute commute to Bethnal Green from Central London to check them out. When we arrived 2 minutes before they opened. Not long after we were seated a steady trickle of folks started coming in. Within 30 mins of opening, the place was full! Nevio Jr, the current owner runs the cafe with the rest of the family and staff. They are all very personable and seems to be rather popular in their community. We wanted to try their English breakfast, so husband ordered the classic set. Meanwhile, I heard good things about their pesto pasta dish (after all, they are Italian!). I was pleasantly surprised that they serve pasta all day. Did I order a bowl of Penne Pellicci at 8 am? I sure did! They topped it off with Bolognese because "you should try it!". They applauded when I finished it off and called me the "young lady who ordered pasta for breakfast"; "She must be Italian!" Hey, it's dinner time somewhere in the world . (And thank you so much for calling me young ) The best pasta breakfast, if I could lick the plate I would. And that English Breakfast? Is as excellent as they say! It will be hard to top that. They told us that his Mamma Maria was baking bread pudding and we could stay to have some. We have a full day planned so we regretfully couldn't. Next time, we should definitely try the Have the Lot set and bread pudding!

I have been wanting to go here ever since I saw JOLLY's YouTube video with Sorted Food, and I'm so happy I did. :) Top notch customer service!! The employees that work here are so friendly and make conversation with everyone who walks in. I've never felt more welcome. I ordered the full meat breakfast and it was so hearty and delicious! You definitely won't leave feeling hungry. My sister ordered the pesto pasta, and she enjoyed it. There is an option of adding ragu to the pasta, or you can keep it vegetarian. Then, they will add parmesan and pepper at your table. It's a small restaurant, but you will feel right at home. It gets quite busy even on a weekday, so be sure to get there early as they only provide walk-ins. Also, they only accept cash, no cards. Luckily there is an ATM right across the street!

My husband is big on breakfast so I was a bit hesitant since I'm not a fan. However, when in London you have to try a full English breakfast so we had to do it right. We made sure to come early to have a shorter queue, and boy were we glad we did. The line got long quick!! Once we sat down inside, the chaos and buzz was thrilling! Seeing the cook talk through the window to patrons and everyone is joking loudly with each other it was so much fun. The breakfast was so good! When Ana came around with the pesto, it got even better. Do ask for a sample and buy a jar for home because it was to die for... We had such a great time here due to the staff and owners. Ana, was so sweet and funny. She took the time to get to know every one of her customers as you check out. I can't wait to come back to try all their Italian dishes. Definitely worth a trip across the pond for. Thank you Ana and family for the hospitality this place is a gem and we can't wait to be back sooner than later!

This is a very small place. But there was a line (queue). I can see why. The food was very good. The server was extremely friendly and gregarious. We had a variety from mince pie to English breakfast to pasta, and it was all really good. A bit of a walk from the tube stop, but worth it.

This is what I've been waiting for in London! This little cafe came out of nowhere with unmatched hospitality and warm conversation. We had cafe Americano, tea, and cappuccino with "have the lot meat" (full English breakfast). The food was fresh, coffees and tea hot and perfect when you add sugar. All for a reasonable price. We had some fun banter with a few gentleman and felt like one of the family. After getting a chilly reception from some of the locals, we were especially appreciative of this gem. Highly recommend! FYI: cash only

Excellent food and even better service!! This was such a cute local spot for a great English breakfast. There was a bit of a line out the door and a wait for us to be seated, but fortunately we didn't wait too long for our party of 2. One of the servers was so funny and just a joy to be around. He was walking around talking to all the guests and making jokes, I didn't catch his name, but he was super charismatic! I really wanted a traditional English breakfast before leaving London, and this really was the perfect place to stop at for one of the best English breakfasts you'll find. This place is very small, diner-like, and simple, but the food is hearty and will leave you full and satisfied. I got the Have the Lot Full English Breakfast, and it was a full platter (could honestly split it between two people and still be very satisfied). It was a great combination of egg, sausage, ham, hashbrowns, black pudding, tomatoes, mushrooms, beans, and fried toast. Also--note *fried* toast--like the deep fried the whole slice of bread (so good but how can you go wrong with this). Everything was delicious and extremely filling--I could not finish my plate. I would definitely look to come back here next time I'm in London!

Easily best full english I've ever had. We had to wait a bit to sit, but really wasn't bad at all. I'd recommend getting there early to get ahead of the crowd. Super friendly staff, cozy environment, and unbelievably high quality food. Very recommended!

It was actually the buzz inside this place that attracted me most - dozens of dolled up city folks were patiently waiting for their lattes and cappuccinos, while soaking in the yuppy/hippy atmosphere of this space. In fact, I would go as far to say that this is a good mixture between the efficiency of Starbucks and the quirky authenticity of a coffee shops like Look Mum No Hands or St Ali. The stand-out experience for me was the bircher müsli. In fact, it was just like I love it: moist, fruity, & sweet! On the other hand, I was rather disappointed with the drip/filter coffee that they served, as it was quite bitter and off-tasting - hence only 4 stars. Overall I really like this place: there's ample seating and fantastic people-watching!

It was amazing. The London versions I'd tried before had been crappy ersatz versions thereof...until I tried this place some months ago. Full bodied, creamy with just the right amount of bitterness. My regular coffee (about 3 a day on last tally) is an espresso, and i still believe that the italians can teach the worlds best hipster barista a thing or 2 about espresso (cappuccino, latté etc...) and the problem I've always had with these new-wave hipster cafs is that while they can often churn out lovely frothy milkshake-esque coffees, their espressos are disgusting, salty, up dosed/underextracted. None of that here. Nice, sharp and robust but smooth...and no saltiness.

I do think they did more but I was blinded by the arancini... I really only wanted a box of 4 arancini with their lovely garlic mayo but thought I'd counteract the starch with some salad and went for the salad box. £4.50 I believe, for 4 arancini and some basic - but tasty - salad. The salad was fine - a lettuce mix, topped with shredded carrot with chickpeas, and then some jalapenos and crispy onions.
