Their quote was competitive, and while they're not the cheapest option out there, they use top-quality products. My roof actually ended up as an upgrade from what I had before. From the first call to the final cleanup, everything was easy. Timely estimate, great communication, and a crew that was both friendly and efficient. I have a large roof, and they showed up early, knocked the whole job out in a single day, and cleaned up so thoroughly that my landscaping might have actually looked a little better after they left. I wanted to replace it with similar siding because it seemed to be very durable. Replacement was necessary because the original siding was improperly installed and the planks were falling off the house. I repeatedly had planks replaced and paint never matched original siding properly. So I chose to replace the entire siding. My research identified James Hardie as an excellent siding; and it seems quite durable, has a decent warranty, and looks nice. I chose EMA Construction to install because of their long term experience with James Hardie siding, and previous customer reviews. So I am confident I have a good product that was properly installed. Eddie provided the estimate and stayed in contact with me during the project. The installer team was excellent. They commenced work as expected and completed on schedule.. in spite of several rainy days. One area of the house required custom cutting of the planks lengthwise and at a slight angle. The team did an excellent job custom fitting the siding to this area. The total install, including flashing, caulking, and siding fit are all excellent. Total results and cleanup was also perfect. The install team (Nico, Blake and Eric) was professional and friendly and explained what they were doing throughout. I would hire them again should the occasion arise.

James has been very professional to work with and is almost always on time. Our quotes received from Primo have always been within reason of other companies but we've had much better luck getting Primo to show up to actually do the work and the crews actually take pride in cleaning up and not leaving hazardous debris around. You do get what you pay for and although Primo is not always the least expensive of my quotes, they are very competitive and at or below market average from other competitive quotes I've received. Primo is well worth the peace of mind that comes with using them as I've grown to not be concerned when James shows up that the right materials, right crew, quality work and quality cleanup will be handled as a professional company should. In the past I tried to use a couple craigslist and other B and C rated Angie's companies and I was amazed at the difference in quality of work you get with Primo. I honestly didn't save any money with the issues I had to fix on 2 of my rental properties from the cheaper quote Craigslist people. I actually ended up spending almost 25% more on the lower priced guys as they caused damage to installed products that i had to later have Primo come out to properly install and bail me out of jam. I had a roof on a rental property we own not be covered by warranty because a C rated angie's list company i took a chance on installed it wrong. Got water damage, ruined about 8 squares of shingles and needed a bunch of wood replaced. NOT WORTH GOING WITH THE CHEAP GUYS! Trust me! In order to get a manufacturers' warranty for the siding, the manufacturer wanted a final sales receipt from Primo. But Primo didn't provide one. I guess James was too busy to drop it in the mail. How helpful! The contract included Debris Removal and Primo removed it, TWENTY ONE DAYS after final payment was made. Two stars, instead of one, because the crew who actually performed the installation did an excellent job. If I could have worked with them, instead of having to go through "Primo", this would have been a 5-star review. In our case "No Hassle" meant several passive-aggressive incidents that were completely unnecessary.

The back half has no drip edge and with the recent wind a shingle had ripped off because it was not nailed in the nailing strip causing it to fail. When requesting someone to come and take a look they just emailed me and said there is no warranty and a quote to replace 1 shingle for $285. I let them know it was done incorrectly and they told me "I will note your decline of the proposal in our records." Terrible work and worse customer service.
