Called ZCI residential for a siding replacement quote on February 3rd, 2021. · I'm told that once payment is received, work will begin in about 3 weeks. · Payment is sent in and the check is cashed · Endless phone calls and text messages drag on for several months. I hear 3-5 week estimated install about 5 times. · In July I call ABC siding and the rep tells me they haven't manufactured our chosen siding in 3 months and the estimated arrival of this particular siding is January 2021. · I call ZCI and tell them, they tell me I can find it somewhere else and it will definitely be cheaper and they will give me back the difference. · I find siding at Menards that is cheaper and will be delivered in 3 days instead of 6 months · A week goes by before I get an answer back and I am told the siding I originally ordered magically came in.... · The crew installs the siding. I have to manage the install from over 2 hours away because the crew does not speak English and the communication line between myself and project managers is convoluted. Multiple installation issues are addressed including driveway asphalt damaged from a ladder, a light that I declined to have installed which got installed by someone who obviously is not qualified to do so, a new rug that was ruined, an awning that is now laying on the ground that was supposed to be disposed of and a tripped breaker to a deep freeze full of food that spoils. · The install is finally done 10 months later. · I am asked to schedule a walk around with the "crew leader". I schedule it and he never shows. · I am told the next day they will come by the following afternoon and once again, they don't show and I can't get a response or an ETA. NEVER AGAIN. read more

I can't say enough great things about Daniel and ZCI residential. I had been struggling for many months trying to deal with my insurance company by myself before someone I trust recommended that I contact Daniel at ZCI. Daniel then set up an appointment to look at my property within just a day or two from the first contact. Once he came, he did a very thorough inspection of not only my roof but also all the other structures on my property to check for signs of storm damage. He found things that many others had missed and was able to explain in great detail why these finding were evidence of recent hail damage. Additionally, Daniel noted my attic had ventilation issues and came up with many different ways to rectify the problem. He also made note of areas of soffit damage I had due to poor gutter installation. In short, nothing escaped his professional gaze and I knew immediately that I was not only dealing with someone who was very knowledgeable at their craft but also someone who really cared about doing a job right. That is becoming more and more rare these days. Once Daniel got involved with my insurance company, they immediately agreed with the detailed report he had put together and authorized a full roof replacement. It was amazing. His report was so good they didn't even bother sending out an inspector of their own because they could tell from his report exactly what had happened with my roof. This after two previous denials that any damage existed at all. Once the insurance company was onboard, Daniel again went above and beyond to find the exact venting products to insure my attic had proper circulation and that my HVAC unit in the attic would function better as a result. He also was able to offer a limitless variety of shingles and roofing materials to choose from. In short, the entire experience with Daniel could not have gone any better. I don't write a lot of review online (shame on me), but I do read many. As I read reviews I ask myself what was the real message the writer was trying to tell me? For me, that is easy........If you have any issues with your roof, siding, windows, or other home repairs where an honest, trustworthy, caring, and extremely knowledgable contractor could help you........then I would strongly recommend that you reach out to Daniel at ZCI.
