The Friedman team did a truly *amazing* job!…read more Jason (the owner)'s initial visit to our home lasted more than an hour. He asked very detailed questions to ensure he understood exactly what we wanted to accomplish. The estimate was quickly produced, and was exceeding thorough and clear, spanning a full 2-pages, itemizing all that the job entailed. When there were possible ways of saving money, he offered them. He also suggested a number of clever workarounds we had not considered. The estimated amount was a bit less than the other two quotes we received. In addition, it included items others had not thought to suggest. Other companies said they could begin in 4-6 months. Jason said he would begin in 2-3 weeks and complete the sizable renovation within 3 weeks. Once we agreed to move forward, everything was wrapped up within the timeline he estimated (from my experience, a rare feat!). All members of his crew were friendly, diligent, and highly competent. They were efficient on site, demonstrated great skill, were cautious not to damage anything, and performed a through cleanup, leaving nothing behind. The final product far exceeded our expectations! We are very grateful for Jason's Team and we definitely plan to use them for future projects. Thanks so much! Jon & Courtney

Not happy. I had drainage work done summer 2025 in my…read morebackyard. It took 1 month and many people coming to help the main contractor. spring 2026 and actually drainage is worse. I called to talk to Jason about what can be done. I was basically told we've had a lot of saturation this year and any concerns should have been voiced at the time. They were voiced to the man who was doing the work. not all of the work that was in my written estimate was completed either as the contractor who was here said it wouldn't be necessary. An existing run was completely removed and not tapped into. I was told in the end, the month of work was a loss to them. Probably why they don' want to help me now. And being a woman, you're not listened to or taken seriously. I wouldn't advise using for any water/drainage work. No warranty or even want to make it right.

We recently had our entire roof and gutters done. We are not exaggerating when we say James, the…read moreowner, was the best contractor we've ever dealt with. He was polite, explained everything clearly, told us just what to expect, and was very responsive to calls and texts. They were also on time for every part of the job and, probably most important--he and his people did a FANTASTIC job on our roof. The materials were first-rate, and installation was done quickly, just as promised. He and his crew intruded as little as possible, considering there was the need to park vehicles in our drive and make some noise--one cannot get around that when installing a new roof! (G) But they made it convenient for us to get our cars in and out as needed. Probably one of the nicest things they did was showing a high regard for the area around the house when removing the old, very worn out shingles prior to adding structural elements and then new shingles. Add to that, clean-up was so complete, one wouldn't know a roofing crew had even been there unless they looked up and saw the marvelous new roof! Having interviewed other roofing contractors in the past, once I decided my roof couldn't wait anymore, I called Fine Line Roofing. James is by far both the nicest and most professional fellow I talked with. We now have a beautiful new roof and gutters--all at what we consider a most reasonable price!

Buckeye gave us an incredibly reasonable estimate on the new roof for the house, TWO flat roof…read morereworks, plus gutters AND they repaired the shady fascia board between the first and second floors, under one of the (no longer) flat roofs. Everything looks so good! We chose the same shingles for the house that we had put on the carriage house/garage, and although it's hard to see up top, they do look amazing. And the drainage around the house is SO MUCH BETTER. At the time the crew was out, we were having other repairs inside the house, and everyone did the trades shuffle with grace and humor. You haven't seen a crew work like these guys did until you realize they roofed a 7,200 sq ft historic house in just 3 days--including the flat roof rebuilds. So much attention and care was paid to the fabric of the home, and each flat roof got its own plan and treatment. They did our carriage house in early spring 2026, and the same attention to detail means we now own two very spiffy historic structures. Call Buckeye, you can't go wrong.

He then went on to ask a myriad of questions unrelated to our bathroom project, in addition to again asking if my husband could join us. I told him he was busy and could not join us and that I was the point person for this project. He asked a third time if my husband could join us, citing that I might not be able to remember all the information I was given. I told him if he was not going to provide a consultation/estimate for me, the project owner, unless a man was with me then we can cancel. I led him out of the house 30 seconds later.
