The Dyson Service Center in Bolingbrook is awesome! We brought our stick vac in because it wasn't connecting to charge. Without warranty there able to fix with a new assembly for $135, which is reasonable considering a new vacuum is around $500. Service technicians are knowledgeable, pleasant and professional. Everything went great. Someone came out and greeted me quickly. I told them my vacuum had lost suction and that I thought there was a blockage. They got me signed in quickly, helped me locate the serial number and while I was inputting my info, they had already diagnosed the problem. It turns out there was no blockage. The machine is about a decade old and I had cracked a piece of the cyclone and air was getting in. So he replaced it with a new cyclone for $91 and that machine has suction again like brand new! Top it off, the new cyclone is purple! This is my second time here. A few years ago the same machine did have a blockage, which they took care of quickly and for free! Very interesting service center. Minimalistic and modern but very clean for a service center I brought a fan and as soon as I plugged it in, I got a an error message. After talking to online support, they recommended me bring it to this location Location was easy to find in a strip mall. Plenty of parking and food if you ever need to wait. Inside the shop is clean, and minimalistic. Basically they have one of each model (fans, vacuum, etc). And a little bench I think. The staff there were very nice and friendly. They asked if I could wait 15 mins and they should be able to diagnose between a big issue or minor issue. Luckily there was not a problem Sadly, my fan needed to be replaced and that was the end of my service. Overall, nice staff and clean location. read more

Two of my Dyson vacuums were serviced here today. The stick vacuum needed a new wand as the old one had become loose at the top end. They did not have the exact color, but sent me home with a replacement and ordered one to match the old one. So I have had two opportunities with different machines over the past two years and both times I had service person, Mark, work on the machines . Mark is absolutely outstanding!! He asked if I had a little time to wait and he would try and diagnose the problem. Both times he was able to diagnose and fix while I waited. I know that it's not always possible to diagnose and fix all items while wait but I appreciated the fact that he was willing to try and in my case solve it. My experience with Dyson started off so rocky starting with the call center then I went to the Bolingbrook location where I was meet with a guy by the name of Josh, he was so rude and disrespectful to the point where I was ready to walk away in tears, he called me dumb in so many words I felt so bad. He told me that I shouldn't even have a Dyson because I didn't know how to take care of it, and he walked off from me. My husband had decided to just throw out our Dyson vacuum cleaner that would not suck up anything and also drop dirt on the carpet. I took a chance, drove almost an hour to the Bolingbrook service center to see if they could fix it! Joe was so friendly! He asked me to take a seat and took it in the back, dislodged something that was stuck, gave it a quick tuneup and cleaning and within 15 minutes it was returned to me like new. My Dyson supersonic hairdryer stopped working after accidentally dropping it on the floor. It's a 2 & 1/2 year old dyer so it's out of warranty. I called the Bolingbrook Dyson Service Center, and talked to Mark. He was exceptionally nice. He said as long as I didn't blow the motor he could fix it. Mark called after only having it a couple of days. Saying it works fine. I had a small amount it debris in it, and once he cleaned it out it started working again!! OMG . First of all, Dyson products usually never need repairs. Second time I've been here in 8 yrs since I've owned a Dyson. I've a large ball upright. I purchased my 2nd from this store, a powerful upright canister, something lighter, per my husband's request who was ill & wanted to still help out around the house. I recently bought my 3rd, newest model for the main floor. Came in cuz the older one's canister kept getting stuck & couldn't empty. Was always a bit 'sticky', thought it was normal. Gregory kept at it till he resolved the issue, by replacing the canister, even though my warranty was up, as a courtesy. I brought in my Dyson stick and vacuum cleaner for repair. The stick was not working well and the vacuum wasn't working at all. The person who greeted me was professional and personable. I explained the issue I was having with the Stick and he immediately knew what the problem was. He also identified the issue with the vacuum cleaner. He took both to the back to have them worked on. In the meantime, another associate came out and greeted me and updated me on the repair progress. I would name both young men but unfortunately, I can't remember their names. However, I am very pleased with the service I received. I don't always write reviews but the service I received was exceptional. The friendly associate on the phone did their best but we couldn't figure out how to fix it, so he suggested I stop at the Dyson service center. I went in, associate greeted me and took the vacuum. In about 10 minutes he came back out and the issue was fixed. Store was very clean and pleasant. Honestly, I had thought $400 for a vacuum was too much when I bought it. I have been to the Bolingbrook service center several times and the service is always amazing! Today was no exception. I took my Dyson for a tune-up and was assisted by Mark. He was friendly, pleasant and very efficient. He gave my vacuum a thorough check and was quick and efficient in doing so. He then offered to carry the vacuum back to my car for me. This place is a joke. I was referred by Dyson Customer service to bring my DC 23 to this location. I called ahead to confirm they could fix the DC23 head because it was not spinning. Prior to my visit I had read on the Internet that the head is no longer being made nor are there replacement parts available. When I arrived the employee told me it was probably a button on the side of the head that converts vacuuming the floor to vacuuming the carpet. After two minutes of his review he informs me it's unrepairable. I asked what part was broke and he said he assumed it was the turbine fan blades. I asked if they took the vaccuum head apart to confirm that because I had done so before I came to their location. He acknowledged that he did not disassemble the head because they have no parts to repair the head. I asked if he could look at the belt inside the head. Again, we don't have parts so it can't be repaired. Whose to say the belt even needed to be replaced? So much for looking at a problem and trying to fix it versus taking the easy way out and using the excuse of parts are not being available. I guess I will have to go back to my vacuum that I have had for over 25 years that has never broken down. read more

Took in a Dyson that a number of years old. I spoke to Mark, and he quickly diagnosed what was wrong. He saw what was wrong, asked if I was having trouble with the wand and some suction. He was right on. He said to give him some time and they will try to get it fixed. Within a few hours, he called and said it was complete! The part is brand new, works great and it comes with a six month warranty. The vacuum now runs like it is brand new! Great service and turnaround time, and Mark was great! read more
