I'm not sure of why Albuquerque, NC is showing. This review is for Dynasty Nails on Central Ave in Charlotte, NC. They were a life saver after I'd removed my polish and thought that I'd be serviced at another nail salon. It was a Sunday and I was running out of time. Dynasty was closing within the hour, but the person answering the telephone told me to come over. I was just getting gel polish. It was probably the fastest appointment I've had. I don't remember my nail tech's name, but she used two nail dryers for the gel polish. I had at least one nail that had broken due to someone else's work. She put my polish on in a way so you couldn't tell. This photo was right as I was getting the polish removed 3 weeks later. If I needed to, I'd definitely return. read more

My pedicure nail tech was great, but the prices for a pedicure in Charlotte have gotten a little ridiculous. It was $40 for a basic pedicure (with regular polish). The location was clean, they had the sani bags around the pedicure bowl and they pulled nail tools from a wrapped bag. There wasn't anything to make this place stand out, but it was a decent pedicure. My leg/foot massage was at about the same attempt my husband gives when he's hoping for something, but doesn't want to put much effort in. It has lasted over a week, but nothing has made me say "oh I definitely need to go back there again". They provided the menu of services after you sit and then, like all other salons, look at you when you say "just a regular pedi" . I just feel like unless you're getting gel or something crazy on your toes, it's a waste of their time. (Again general to CLT). They don't let you pick a polish color. They have you sit and then you look through a book with sample nails to get your color. I prefer putting bottles to my skin to see what the color will look like on my pasty complexion. They do provide complimentary beverages with a service. read more

I have been going to nail salons since the early '80s. This place is absolutely one of the worst ever. Jenny is unprofessional and has limited skills. I told her that I wanted my toenails cut short and squared. I had to repeat this several times. Before she began applying the French gel pedicure, I noticed that the nails on my big toes were shaped differently. I asked her to fix them. After the pedicure, as she removed the foil and cotton from my fingers, I had to remind her to be careful taking off the polish from a nail that needed to be repaired. Apparently, that was too much for her. She said I should go somewhere else for a manicure because she was "uncomfortable". I asked another person to do it and things really went downhill from there. A nail tech that uses a drill to remove gel polish from natural nails is either lazy or ignorant. The tech next to her removed HER client's polish quickly and completely without a drill. After Jaclyn took the top layer of my nails off, I was speechless. I asked her not to do it, but she didn't listen. The manicure is terrible. As I was paying $125 for the poor work, she told me to never come back! As if there was a chance that I would! I had intended to get an eyebrow wax. I can only imagine what that would have looked like! I went elsewhere. These women seem to think that they are doing you a favor. They clearly do not understand that they are in a service business and customers have every right to ask for what they want. There was another incident while I was there. A tech was upset because a client was getting a pedicure from someone else. He walked out and refused to do her manicure! These people are rude and unprofessional. Don't go here. I came here and brought my family . I thought the prices where decent, however the older techs can not shape nor color nails. I asked for the first picture and she couldn't do it. So then she said she would do a freestyle because it was getting late and this is what she did like clown nails. I came back the next day and was refused service from multiple technicians. They didn't want to give a refund for my money. I paid over 70 for this garbage. I'm calling my bank and asking to dispute the charge. They were disgusting human beings. And they told me that I had to call the police in order to get my nails serviced. do not come here. Update the nail has come off in one week. Also the owner is lying with his response his technician worked on another customer till 9:30 but because we were black he's assuming that I was with that woman. His technician called the police because the next day after I refused to leave demanding to speak with the owner and a refund of my full amount. They are racist. They didn't offer to fix nor refund my money. I had to call my bank, in which I was refunded my entire fee. Do not make me post the live where ur technician told me she wouldn't do my nails. If I could leave no stars I would. I got these done less than a week ago and spent more than $100 only for them to break. I don't have a heavy lifting job and they broke while I was driving and getting dressed. I would not recommend. The problem is the little amount of acrylic on the nail. It shouldn't have snapped that easily. I would not recommend this place at all. The problem isn't with my own nails because it broke the actual French tip. When I told them I wanted it fixed they said they didn't have time. Don't waste your money here. Update: Let me try and explain this situation. These people are complete liars and hypocrites. Not only are they trying to falsify my statement with their comment they are being unprofessional calling me a liar when I know how much I spent at their establishment. I'm trying to explain that you changed your explanation on how the nails broke when you messaged me and when you posted the comment. This is completely unprofessional. As you can see by the rude response they have provided there are not a good place of business to work with. I suggest anyone to go to a different place. In the message I was completely understanding that things happen and nails brake. The other person I was there with got the exact same nails and still had them. The tech did the same treatment but mine took less time. I was alright with being cooperative so that I could leave a better review, because YES I did enjoy my time there. Super disappointed by my experience. They nails were beautiful when I walked out the door Saturday and by Monday, they were peeling. I've done dipping powder for years and have never had that result. I think it may have been an issue with the top coat or base (they used the UV light after the dipping powder). The technician was named Rose and she was combative as soon as I walked in for the corrective appointment and even accused me of being at fault. Kun took over to fix the horrendous job done. LYING bunch of *#?! Went in because my regular tech had a death in the family & I have an event out of town I'm flying out for. I asked specifically if they were able to do the service on my nails, as I do not have traditional gel polish or acrylic. I was told yes they could do it. I always have my toes and fingers matching although I don't do anything special for my toes outside of matching my fingers. After finishing a 60$+ job on my toes I was moved to another person who quickly explained how the lady checking customers in just doesn't understand English enough and sorry they don't even do it what I asked for. I have been here many many times and today was the first time I've had a pretty awful experience. This man did my nails and 1. He hurt me and I said OW really loudly. He then said, that hurts? And I said YES, and then he kept doing what he was doing. 2. He says "do you like foot massages? And I said yes. And he said, okay, get off your phone." Nope. Don't do it girl. Don't do it. I really tried to give this place the benefit of the doubt. I tried it maybe a half dozen times. The first and second times I went, I had a nice experience. The second time in particular. My nail tech was ROSE and she knows her stuff! I loved my nails. Next time I went there, Rose was out of town. I asked for her and they told me she's gone for a month. Okay, no prob, I'll see someone else. That tech was awful. Bubbles in the gel, uneven filing. When you ask for particular techs, I guess they get upset because they want you to take whoever is available, hence the reason why they don't take appointments. When you request someone specifically, they tell you that it will be a 2 hour wait. They told that to me. And Ive witnessed it happen to several other women. After the person leaves because who wants to wait 2 hours? After they leave, the next walk in person is seated immediately and there is no wait. Dynasty nails is a shady business with shady people. I hope I see Rose at another place soon, she is amazing and her skills aren't utilized at this place. My suggestion for people who are turned away because the business is a bunch of shady bees, go across the street to Tip Top Nails. I asked for a French tip acrylic set and the price started at $65 which is reasonable. I asked for a slight cut down on the tip applied and gel polish, was told it was going to be $105... crazy price jump for one and decided to leave after waiting with the acetone burning my finger tips.
