At no time did he ever push something on me, if anything he advised of practices to be weary of with ANY installer I should choose. He explained clearly what sets Miller's apart from the competition and I must say that even if I don't choose to use them for this specific project, I will be a future customer. I would like to share my experience with Atomic Plumbing. Please read all the reviews before going…read moreto any Plumber! I had a light flash on my hot water heater and called the warranty department. The warranty department informed me we had to do an elemental check and will need a plumber to come out to check the reading. Once the plumber comes out give us (the warranty department) a call and they will walk them through on the issue. I called Atomic Plumbing and explained to the reception on the issue at hand. Gave her full details needed before the tech came and like most people who wrote the review, I too got a diagnostic fee but mine was 198.00. The tech came out, I gave him the details, and he informed me that an additional 130.00 will be added to the diagnostic fee because he was not informed, he had to make a phone call to the warranty office. I shook my head and said no, I was told the diagnostic fee was only going to be 198.00 because of the short notice and we need a tech to come out today. The tech informed me if he makes the call, it would be an hourly rate. Normally the call will take 30 min to an hour or more, he would have to wait on the call, give out details, and eventually delaying him on getting to the problem at hand. I told the tech the work has already been done; we have a case number already in place and they are waiting for his phone call. Tech said he can only do what the company would allow him to do. I agreed to the new price and the tech made the call. The tech gave the case number, and he was immediately routed to the department. The phone call literally took 11.23 min, I clock it. So, the 11.23 min that he was on the phone I was charged 117.00? 117.00 dollars divided by 11.23 min = $10.41852181656278 per second The tech said he will be back with a quote, gave me the quote and I paid for the diagnostic fee total 315.00 (The tech gave me a courtesy credit of 31.50.). I am getting the service done on Friday with another provider who informed me switching out the part should take no less then 20 min and with a quote that was an 84.939759036145% SAVINGS than what atomic plumbing quote. I am highly disappointed with Atomic Plumbing both with the service and with the hidden fees.

Fantastic Not only did they spare my white recently remodeled bathroom and not drag the electric snake into the house, they didn't take out the toilets and ran it through the roof (the hole in the pipe was tried first but no luck). They got the clog out, patched the hole and came back the next day. I always had water and sewer. And they even checked to make sure my kitchen was good. He took credit card. Very friendly and professional. And according to the neighbors, I got off CHEAP. So call these guys. They're fantastic. I'm saving them for future fun projects because they're a good price and cool dudes

Not sure if it is a company issue or just the individual tech we had out. Ryan Obregon was our…read moretech. He came out to inspect why we had no AC and told us that we had a large refrigerant leak. He told us that our system was outdated and took r22 which was expensive to replace and therefore recommended a complete replacement. He quoted us $8000-$18000 to replace our unit for a 1400sqft home. I discovered by looking at the manufacturer's label on the unit that ours was r410a refrigerant, which is newer and less expensive. The unit was only 10 years old. When confronted with this, Ryan offered to come out and find the leak for free and quoted me a ballpark of $3000 to fix the leak and refill the unit. Not trusting this anymore I contacted another AC company who came out. They discovered the system had 0 refrigerant in it but were unable to locate a leak. They filled it with nitrogen overnight to test if the pressure dropped and it didn't indicating the leak was likely a pinhole size. They repaired the line using ez seal and refilled it, which cost about $500 total. The new guy from the other company stated he questioned if the previous company had actually drained my refrigerant as he said there is no way a pin hole leak would lead to 0lbs of refrigerant in the system and not be detectable unless it's been empty for years. With this he stated that a new unit our size with labor would likely be $3000-$3500 tops with labor. All this to say, be cautious with this company, or at the very least this tech. Seems to be a very sleazy way of doing business. It's a shame that some take advantage of less informed people to make money.
