On June 3, 2026, the technician advised I change the filter monthly and he would drop a pack of filters off that week. It took five phone calls and over two months to receive the filters. I just received them today on August 12, 2026. The tech who brought them was extremely polite and asked if my AC was still working properly, and offered to change the filter for me. I had a light flash on my hot water heater and called the warranty department. The warranty department informed me we had to do an elemental check and will need a plumber to come out to check the reading. Once the plumber comes out give us (the warranty department) a call and they will walk them through on the issue. I called Atomic Plumbing and explained to the reception on the issue at hand. Gave her full details needed before the tech came and like most people who wrote the review, I too got a diagnostic fee but mine was 198.00. The tech came out, I gave him the details, and he informed me that an additional 130.00 will be added to the diagnostic fee because he was not informed, he had to make a phone call to the warranty office. I shook my head and said no, I was told the diagnostic fee was only going to be 198.00 because of the short notice and we need a tech to come out today. The tech informed me if he makes the call, it would be an hourly rate. Normally the call will take 30 min to an hour or more, he would have to wait on the call, give out details, and eventually delaying him on getting to the problem at hand. I told the tech the work has already been done; we have a case number already in place and they are waiting for his phone call. Tech said he can only do what the company would allow him to do. I agreed to the new price and the tech made the call. The tech gave the case number, and he was immediately routed to the department. The phone call literally took 11.23 min, I clock it. So, the 11.23 min that he was on the phone I was charged 117.00? 117.00 dollars divided by 11.23 min = $10.41852181656278 per second The tech said he will be back with a quote, gave me the quote and I paid for the diagnostic fee total 315.00 (The tech gave me a courtesy credit of 31.50.). I am getting the service done on Friday with another provider who informed me switching out the part should take no less then 20 min and with a quote that was an 84.939759036145% SAVINGS than what atomic plumbing quote. I am highly disappointed with Atomic Plumbing both with the service and with the hidden fees.

Always friendly and professional. Jake handled a slow upstairs tub drain easily and diagnosed a potential larger issue with the seal. The gamble paid off to further investigate as the 30 year putty had worn down and was causing it to leak. An area below the tub in the downstairs ceiling had stained recently and all but confirmed the tub seal was the issue. A new drain & seal and I was good to go after testing. The entire mess was cleaned up. He also installed a shower head I had purchased. Their rates seem competitive. Keep in mind with being small they back up easily. Allow days to sometimes a week for them to address your problem. They likely have emergency service at an additional cost. They cover all of the Southside of the 757.
