He left for a trip to shop. Jordan returned in a short time and began to work after he was sure what I wanted. He was soon by Mike at two work tougher very nicely and no time the project was completed a the Wife and I had a new set of stairs. We are very pleased with the project. The cabinet beneath our sink collapsed due to a leaky garbage disposal. We made contact with Arcadia, and they sent out someone within 24 hours. The service tech did a quick diagnosis and found the issue. He did not have the correct part, but made a quick trip to pick up the part and returned to make the fix. Additionally, they sent a tech out a week later to replace the bottom of the cabinet. They cut out the damaged area and replaced and painted the new part within 4 hours. I have to start out saying I. Hate. Surveys! & the w/the amount of requests now-a-days, it just gets overwhelming. And when I often wonder, what has happened to Customer Service? However, when I do receive Exceptional Service, I've just got to stop & share some comments. This time, I'm glad I trusted my gut instinct. Because "Arcadia Property Services" gave me a good feeling on my initial contact. They gave me an almost immediate response (very Important to me), & con't to maintain timely correspondence throughout the entire process. I'm giving them a high rating for a few reasons. As a retired Realtor, I've lost a lot of contacts, & some for the better. I've had some challenging experiences, w/contractors not showing up, attempts at padding $$ the jobs, shoddy workmanship, etc,. But this time I was in a crunch for some plumbing work & turned to "yelp" for some referrals, I liked the added assurance (on some contractors) of the "yelp Guarantee" & the License Verification, giving me a jumpstart on cross referencing. Mick was my Tech, & Boy was I Lucky I ended up w/him! He showed up right on time, he worked diligently to take care of my few plumbing jobs & correcting issues resulting from the plumbing problems. In fact, he finished ahead of the projected time. That made me Happy! He (Mick) seemed to be very meticulous in cleaning too. I think he might've even hit a little extended area Most importantly he never gave me the idea I was bothering him, (also very important to me) w/my many questions. In fact, I might've even learned a few things in between. I would recommend "APS" based on my satisfaction of the jobs well done, (very proficient) & I intend to use them for some upcoming projects. I had a hole in my garage roof. I scheduled with them twice and no one showed up, nor did anyone alert me that they would need to reschedule until well after they should have been there (no work, no pay for me, so two days lost pay). By the time someone actually did show up, another critter had moved into the soffit and I needed to call my pest guy to correct that issue again. Once the pest issue was resolved and someone from Arcadia came out, I was charged for four hours @ $75 an hour, though the tech was there only three (and about 1 of those was a trip to the store because the plywood he brought was the wrong thickness). When I inquired about the price, I was told I was being charged for the initial visit -- if someone had showed up on the first scheduled day, or even the second scheduled day - there would have been no need to bring the pest management guy back in (and pay for another pest removal) - the scheduling screw ups on their end allowed time for another pest to move in. The tech was very nice and seems like he did a good job on the repair - but I won't be using this company again. read more
