We went through the whole online quiz to find out core attachment patterns and though the information and initial consultation was oddly insightful, it didn't fully address the elephant in the room; the affair. We went straight through to addressing our past traumas, and it sincerely didn't help that I apply in almost all types of trauma listed. In the few sessions we had, it helped us understand a few things about ourselves, but with work and priorities, it became hard to practice outside of the appts and unfortunately we never discussed a chance for each of us to talk to her separately. And this was the one thing I really wished was required. Would marriage counseling be able to detect abuse? I really wished they did every time, cause then we can talk about my suicide attempt and being on suicide watch on two separate occasions, we could've talked about how my boss mentioned signs of domestic abuse and I scoffed it off but it planted a horrible revelation. We could've talked about how I'm feeling so afraid and so controlled, I was convinced I shouldn't have even felt this way, that immediately after stating my suspicions of being an abusive relationship I was told to be very careful what I'm accusing, and the one person who can see all that with me can't. My trauma now becomes the final blow in every argument, I'm emotionally muted, and I'm trying so hard to feed the fire of my will enough to stay alive. Even my prior therapist said she isn't a good therapist. I wish I spoke up more about it with her, I suppose I have no excuse. Anyways, if you're going through a domestic or emotional abuse, don't go here.

This is the only center available close to our home and on O'ahu back in 2017. 3/5 stars: Licensed Clinical Psychologist and staff of first evaluation for being on point regarding one out of two Dx for my son. Second Dx was a misdiagnosis when we brought him back a few years later for reevaluation. That's now been corrected with two more Dx that are on point. We've been instructed to have him return in a few years. Lots of paperwork to bubble in, write and sign consent forms. Waiting for results takes three months. For instance, if testing gets completed in April, expect scheduling results to be ready three months later, example in July. Wonderful news is all testings and evaluations were covered under my son's medical insurance. Services utilized: 5/5 stars: Social Skills Group: My son attended at age 4, loved it and went every Saturday for ten sessions. Out of pocket expense and not covered under insurance. It's unfortunate the instructor no longer works here and this program is not available. 0/5 stars: Note: I inquired with Licensed Clinical Psychologist in advance what are her thoughts about enrolling our son in Kumon Reading offered at many locations on O'ahu since cost is cheaper per month after receiving reevaluation. LCP highly advised against it without reason or evidence. My biggest regret is I've should've listened to my own intuition and enrolled him elsewhere for tutoring earlier. 1/5 stars: OG Tutoring a.k.a Orton-Gillingham Tutoring: Highly recommended by Licensed Clinical Psychologist for twice a week sessions. There's only one OG Tutor available part-time on Wednesday afternoons and Saturdays mornings only. My son attended in-person sessions from twice a week which eventually dwindled to once a week for a total of 10 months which was mostly due to instructor cancelling sessions on us. Independent consultant charged $50 cash or check only per 1 hour session. We're spending $400-$500 per month of our own money. When my son did testing with the center and at his school on two separate dates, test scores showed slight improvement only by a few points. My son still had difficulty reading words and sentences. Last straw for us was when independent consultant casually strolls in five minutes late without no attempted phone call or text to give a heads up or apologize while we're rushing from his baseball game to arrive here on time. No consideration for time. Not once but twice. Good thing we're able to claim OG Tutoring under medical expenses during tax season. Good news is he's receiving tutoring services elsewhere, flourished in a shorter amount of time, test scores are much higher in school, progressing quicker, and we're saving more money per month. What may work for one child may not always work for another. There's no perfect recipe. Must try and find what will work in the child's best interest.

If you miss an appointment by a minute, they are already billing you and punishing you by withholding medication you physically need. After complaining about HIS NO SHOW, the office staff hung up on me. Since then they fully cancelled the prescription without a word to me. I've also gone weeks without ANY response to see a therapist. If you need real help, avoid this place at all costs. During therapy, the office would constantly interrupt the session , he would even leave the room!!!! They will cause more stress for you. I treat my customers better than this, and I work in retail sales. How can you call this Medical "CARE". Absolutely ridiculous... I have receipts too. What I should do, is release them onto social media and let the public decide. Like I said, avoid this place at all costs. It took me 10 years to finally gather the courage to seek therapy again, and now I'm literally worse off than when I started BECAUSE OF THIS PLACE, and now I'm having withdrawals because they refuse to take accountability. Mahalo Fields Psychiatric Enablers Update... they dropped me as a patient due to "abusive behavior towards office staff" over the phone newsflash , I removed myself because you are incapable of helping me or anyone from what I've seen. This is also after requesting to speak to a supervisor numerous times for multiple incidents through email, spruce, phone call, with absolutely ZERO response, literally ghosted. So here we are, I'm the abuser......Train your office staff to be better, someone's lying, and it isn't me. Your the abusers, I can prove it. Especially that sassy condescending boy that took my last call who couldn't handle the fact that his Dr. was a no show and wouldn't give me his name and then hung up on me. If anyone out there has any legal advice, or where I can file a complaint, please add a review. ACCOUNTABILITY is what I'm looking for. Which they also know about me. I don't get how you pour your heart out to these people, just to have them disregard it all. It's hurtful, disgusting, and a serious punch to the gut. One of the Doctors is also a Veteran! Which is significantly damaging to my mental health. I feel betrayed among a plethora of negative emotions. Absolutely no one deserves this type of treatment, ESPECIALLY from a Pyschiatric/Therapy Group that you are literally paying. You should get penalized for no showing, it's your JOB. I don't have to see you if I don't want to. Maybe we don't want to sometimes, we are obviously seeing you because we have mental issues. Don't take it personal when we no show, you're already getting free money when we miss an appointment. Ever heard of Compassion? Learn how to talk to people without an attitude, you are a reflection of your provider. If you can't handle the energy YOU put out, and just hang up on patients, and claim abuse, you should look for another job. Accept when you're wrong, and take responsibility. You're going to be alright, it's ok to admit when you're wrong.

A friend recommended Dr. Yurie to me, and I'm really grateful they did. From our very first session, I felt comfortable with her. She created an environment where I felt safe, understood, and listened to. I always felt that my boundaries were respected. That made it easier for me to open up and trust the process. One thing I really appreciated about Dr. Yurie was how attentive and present she was during each session. She remembered details from conversations we had a long time ago, in fact, sometimes things I had forgotten myself. It made me feel like she really cared, and that what I shared mattered. She also helped me look at situations from perspectives I had didn't think of before. Her insights gave me ways of thinking that I know I'll continue to carry with me long after our time together. Some of the things she shared and helped me realize have stayed with me and continue to help me in my daily life. Unfortunately, I no longer have sessions with her, and ending therapy with her was honestly difficult and emotional for me :') I'm very thankful for the support and guidance she gave me during the time we worked together. She had made such a positive impact on my life. If you're looking for a therapist and considering reaching out to someone, I strongly recommend giving Dr. Yurie a try. During our initial sessions, I was pretty closed off as I felt I still didn't need therapy. However, Dr. Yurie reassured me that I was in a safe environment and we'd always go at my pace. She never pressured me to dive into things I wasn't ready for and I really appreciated that. Eventually, I was sharing things with Dr. Yurie that I didn't share with even my closest of friends. Dr. Yurie has to be one of the best listeners I have ever come across. She didn't cut me off or redirect the conversation to herself; she truly provided a listening ear and offered unique perspectives that I never thought of. The advice she shared helped to elevate the confidence within myself and the decisions that I made. I finally feel like I can start focusing on my own happiness rather than fixating on other people's happiness all the time. I can't say enough great things about Dr. Yurie. She's a fantastic therapist and a phenomenal person. I'd highly recommend her to anyone looking for guidance and/or an outlet, especially those that are hesitant to try therapy for the first time like I was. Thank you again, Dr. Yurie :)

Everyone that I had the honor of rehabilitating with, took EXCELLENT care of me!!! It was a very humbling and personable experience. Even, after surgery, the numbness was still there. However, during the 12th session in the Aqua Tank, I felt pain on the outside of my right foot and middle toe for the FIRST TIME IN 2 YEARS.
