Make sure you get everything in writing. When I was a patient at Advent Dental woman who answered the phone would not give him my messages. I did talk to him about her, but the behavior didn't change much. I had begun to think that maybe she just didn't like people of my ethnicity. I have called the office trying to get dates of service nobody calls back. This is been a horrible experience. If only I had known I would have never, ever, ever, gone there. I see all this to say, yourself. Make sure you get everything in writing. Ask how long is this denture or whatever supposed to last and if it doesn't what will you do to help me? You can tell he truly cares about you as a patient and as a person - not just as a number or a paycheck. As someone who has had severest of autoimmune disease issues and life altering anxiety a very long time, I've experienced both really great doctors and really disappointing ones. This is actually the first review I've ever left because I think it's important for people to understand the difference... and Dr. Dow is exactly what a doctor should be. I had been searching for a dentist for almost a year after moving to Chicago in 2023, and I'm so glad I didn't settle for anyone else. They are the absolute best. His team even calls after certain exams or procedures just to make sure I'm doing okay... which is honestly unheard of these days. I don't ever get uncomfortable or really feel any pain during a normal cleaning so this in itself was unusual. Jody's response was - "Oh so you DON'T want me to get the tartar out" in an extremely rude tone! Is that seriously how they talk to a patient here? This was just one of many examples.
