Dynamex is subcontracted by Amazon for local "last mile" deliveries out of Jessup Maryland. They are sooooooo bad. Latest package was supposed to be delivered 5/21 = "carrier delay" after 6 pm. Apparently they do not work weekends, so no delivery attempts 5/22 or 5/23. Out for delivery on 5/24 = "carrier delay" after 6 pm. Out for delivery on 5/25 = "breakdown" after 6 pm. Apparently they do not wish to work after 6 pm. Dynamex Jessup Maryland seems to be a one horse outfit, and simply cannot handle their business. Amazon needs to drop them like a hot potato! Wish I could rate at negative stars. read more

My package has said out for delivery for days and is yet to be delivered. I needed this package and was guaranteed delivery by 06/10/2020. Worst delivery service read more

I have a package that was suppose to be delivered Dec. 12. I've contacted them 3 times about it and have never received a response. When I check for delivery it will say delivery is expected today, then there had been a delivery exception and it will be delivered the next day. So far nothing. I am amazed that Amazon still uses them with all the bad reviews I've seen. read more

I am a frequent Amazon Prime customer and have never had a delivery problem until this past month when 4 separate orders were routed shipped by Amazon's fulfillment center through Dynamex. All 4 deliveries were posted as "delivered" but I did not receive a single one. I have a motion detector activated video camera at my front door and there was no footage in any of the 4 delivery dates of a delivery attempt. Furthermore, I received a call from someone who actually received one of my packages and was kind enough to track me down and this person lived two full subway stops away from my NYC address. This is a terrible delivery service and greatly blemishes Amazon's delivery reputation. Amazon needs to stop using them immediately. They are incompetent at best and, perhaps, downright thieves. read more

What do you call a courier company that can't deliver packages? DYNAMEX! This is one of those "you only had one job!" kind of scenarios. I mean, if they can't deliver last mile then why are they even in business? Maybe they shouldn't be? At a minimum Amazon should drop them immediately. read more

I was supposed to receive several packages from Amazon yesterday. To my utter shock, the Amazon app states the my package might be "lost" and it is now offering me a refund. This is disappointing because the paying me back my money will not give me back the time I spent waiting and otherwise spending my money on other items. Very unprofessional. read more

Always the same story: carrier was not able to access the building, please contact the carrier. Somehow UPS and FedEx don't find it so much complicated to deliver my package to my door (during weekends as well). Once they also told me that "the package arrived late at the local distribution facility" so they "had to wait an extra day". read more

I have had multiple miserable experiences with this company on two separate occasions and packages were never delivered. You never ever get a response when you submit an inquiry. This time I ordered from Amazon and delivery was supposed to be today. Mind you the package was only coming from one town over. Amazon assured me I would receive my items today under my Prime membership. It is impossible to get any details from Dynamex. I check again and now they are saying expected delivery is two days from now by 9 pm. I have asked Amazon to never use them again when delivering my packages. The manager must copy and paste responses on here because they are always the exact same one. Amazing they are still in business. read more

This is the worst shipping company ever, this is my second order from Amazon that is using this carrier and once again the one day shipment did not arrive. The first shipment arrived several days late so what's the point of paying for Amazon Prime if they are going to use carriers that can't deliver your items. read more

Insanely incompetent. The first attempt they delivered to the wrong address. The second attempt, they could not get into my building. My house is my building, unless you are trying to break-in there is no reason to get in, just leave the package at the door. Customer service was poor as well. I could hear the radio playing in the background and they just recommended I go pick up the package even though I paid for overnight delivery. Amazon needs to drop these people. read more

After seeing all of the terrible reviews, I was very skeptical and worried that my electronics wouldn't make it to me, or suddenly disappear. However, none of these things happened! I am an Amazon prime user and took advantage of one day shipping, not worried about the carrier as I had never used Dynamex before. Amazon was telling me it would be delivered by 9pm today, and Dynamex's tracking service told me it wouldn't be delivered until tomorrow. Boyfriend waited 20 minutes on hold with them to get some clarity, and while he was on hold the package came, 10 hours before schedule. Their website and service could be improved, but since my package came way before schedule, I can't complain too much. Very grateful it wasn't lost as I was expecting. Speed of delivery 5/5 Customer Service 3/5 Overall 4/5 I guess it just depends on each scenario, but I hope the overall quality of this notorious company improves. read more

Worst service ever!!! The last time this lousy outfit delivered a package to my home, they left it balanced on top of my mailbox at the street. I guess driving or walking up the driveway to leave the package on the porch was too much trouble. The delivery was made well after dark and I had no idea the package was on the mailbox until I took the dog on a short walk. As the package contained somewhat fragile and expensive electronics, it was very fortunate that the box didn't fall from its precarious perch. Amazon really needs to sever all ties with this horrible company. read more

They said they delivered my package at 11:52pm! I never received it. Who delivers packages at midnight? What a scam.

Absolute bottom of the barrel. Amazon should stop using this outfit for Prime deliveries. Or at least stop advertising 2 day deliveries on items that will be shipped with Dynamex. read more

I ordered an item from Amazon and was unfortunately assigned Dynamex as the delivery co. I was given a delivery date of 8/15/20 I received a notice telling me that the delivery would be late "usually 1 day" Ok, not happy but I'll deal with it. 16th comes and goes, no package. I call customer service and am told they do not have the tracking number I gave them. I explained that it was the tracking number given by THEIR company. I call again 8/17 and speak to a different rep. This time I am told the package is to be delivered that day. That day comes and goes. I call them again that night and am told that there was a problem with the driver and he was not able to complete his route. They tell me they have given the route to another driver and package will be delivered the next day. That day came and went and here I am STILL WITH NO PACKAGE!! I called them again one last time and was told that they have put me as a "priority" (what ever the hell that means to them! )So foolishly I ask when I can expect to receive my package? The agent tells me that he cannot give me an exact day but "rest assured, we are going to give this priority treatment." B.S.!! I told them to do whatever they want at this point, that I am cancelling my order with Amazon and in my future dealings with Amazon, if they cannot guarantee that they will not use Dynamex on any future order, I will NOT use Amazon for that purchase. Dynamex YOU GUYS SUCK!! read more

I ordered same day shipping from Amazon. Dynamex was the carrier that they used to get that package to me. I saw that the package was transferred to them by 5:08pm and I received the package by 7:30pm. Instantly received a notification was delivered. I figured I'd write a review since I did have a good experience with them read more

Package not delivered !. I used Amazon next day,got text that package was delivered, nowhere to be found, checked security cameras, delivery person was never here.Got refunded from amazon and reordered, for another next day delivery.Maybe second time around they'll actually deliver. Update ! Delivered to wrong address. The first order was delivered to my neighbor, she called me the following day and I picked it up. Second order actually made it to my front door, very impressed. read more

Absolute joke of a delivery service from Amazon. For starers the Dynamex claimed that we have an "undeliverable" shipping address, even though my home address hasn't changed in 12 years. About a week later they listed the package as "delivered", despite the fact that nothing ever arrived. Why Amazon would use them is beyond baffling read more

Worst excuse for a courier company imaginable. This around the 10th Amazon package that is late. This one was supposed to be here 4 days ago. I live in a city where I get can get same day delivery for most items, and next day delivery (which this was supposed to be) for others. The Amish on their horse and carts would provide a faster service than this shower. read more

Week late, no updates, no response to messages, no tracking, nothing. Believe it or not, I actually wanted to receive my package. Wild, right? I would pay extra to make sure Amazon never uses Dynamex for my packages. Honestly would have just gone out to the store if I knew this would take this long. Ya know what the kicker is? They're supposed to be delivering from a location 15 minutes from my house. I could have crawled there and back and gotten my package faster. Still don't have it. read more

Ordered from Amazon One Day shipping ..status shows Delivered but it has not been. I called Amazon, in turn conferenced in Dynamex. The man said he will get someone to contact me tomorrow...Really? read more

Ordered an expensive Christmas gift off Amazon, 2 day prime shipping, great. Listed as delivered on Saturday. It is now almost Wednesday, no package. Did some digging and found out it was "fulfilled" by this company. Looks like everyone else has the same issue. Had to request a replacement from Amazon and I'm just praying it's shipped from USPS instead, I need it in time for Christmas and also since it was expensive I don't want to have to request it to be replaced AGAIN. Fix your business, you obviously have major problems. read more

Worst delivery company! I have no clue why Amazon used them for delivery I have had 5 different orders all 1 or 2 day prime delivery scheduled and dynamex was the company assigned. I received mine if the packages. brithday gifts I ordered never delivered. Wastes your time. If you see dynamex assigned for your prime package cancel the order especially if it's for a gift and time sensitive as there is a 100% chance you won't get it. I will begin to cancel any orders that amazon assigns dynamex for. read more

I had no choice in the matter and amazon decided to ship my package with dynamex. I called them on their number multiple times and my order never arrived. The excuse was "Covid 19 was affecting deliveries". The customer service representative also told me they had a shortage of drivers. Boy did they give me the runaround. If you know you can't deliver packages then don't accept delivery jobs. Don't even bother expecting your package when it ships with them just ask for a refund from whoever you're buying from because you're not getting that package. 0 stars should really be a thing because 1 Star makes them look decent. read more

I am pending a shipment that should have been delivered Friday June 19,2020. I get notified there is a delay HOWEVER the package arrived at their facility on the 19th at 1:25 am and as of today June 22, 2020 its still there!!!! So frustrating read more

Chose same day delivery on Amazon for an expensive product. Dynamex was the carrier. Upon tracking, it showed that the product was delivered this morning, didn't receive the product yet. Checked my front door, my mailbox and with my leasing office a million times. Horrible service ! Do not know if I need to blame Amazon for choosing this carrier or the carrier it self for such irresponsibility. read more

Why Amazon has chosen to use this garbage delivery service, I'll never know. Package supposed to arrive Friday, never went "out for delivery". Amazon offered refund on Tuesday, I took it. Now wednesday, package says "out for delivery" likely because Amazon contacted them. In the meantime, THREE orders supposed to be delivered Tuesday by Dynamex, in delivery limbo. AND I tried to use the online tracker on their website...I got redirected to a site and Norton Security software warning comes up: malicious software site. read more

Amazon has lost its mind with Dynamex, my package was supposed to be delivered today now it says tomorrow or the following day, all Dynamex does is steal packages to resell them... read more

Dynamex is the worst delivery service in the world! Dynamex was tasked with delivering a package that I ordered from Amazon and got absolutely everything wrong. First I was sent a Dynamex tracking number, but it showed no record of the number when I went to their website. Then Amazon's tracking said that it had been delivered, but Dynamex did not show any photo of the delivery point, and it certainly was not delivered to my house. Finally, a neighbor from a different street and a different address number showed up the next day with my package. If this is Dynamex's usual service quality, I will never use them and hope that Amazon discontinues whatever delivery contract they currently have with Dynamex. It's a big NO for me regarding Dynamex. read more

Worst shipping ever! They just flat lie about same day items being delivered and then deliver the next day. This has happened multiple times. Why does Amazon continue to use them? They are horrible. I would give zero stars if that is an option. read more

Highly unreliable and specialize in "losing" packages. I held back from writing a review because I didn't want to write a negative review based on a one-time experience. The first time, Amazon sent my package with Dynamex, and it simply got lost. Unfortunately, Amazon sent another package with Dynamex, and it looks like I'll never see that order. I wasn't aware that courier companies can choose whether they feel like delivering a package or not, or if they even want to deliver. Because apparently, Dymanex does exactly that. If it suits them maybe they will deliver the package, but if they're not in the mood, they won't. This is the second time they have decided not to deliver or just lose my package entirely. Calling customer service is easy, but it seems like they are trained to just say it is on the truck and will come by the end of the day, or if it's too late in the day, tomorrow. It never does come of course, but if you call again they will just repeat the same thing to you. Dynamex has proven to be extremely unreliable, and judging by the reviews, they "lose" packages more than deliver packages. I left a note with Amazon to never ship my orders with Dynamex again, hopefully, I don't have to deal with this supposed courier losing or ignoring my orders anymore. read more

not even worth a star at all. the worst every experience with Amazon due to this crappy and slow and no show courier. I do not know why Jeff Bezos still keep this company. Please please do not ship my prime items using Dynamex. 7 out of 10 packages got lost or never showed up ending amazon refund my money. please amazon kick them out asap. Please Dynamex, stay away from my Amazon orders!!! read more

This is the complaint I filed against this company with the BBB: beware folks! Complaint Description: Extremely poor handling of all issues pertaining to my accoount: communication, delivery of my products, appropriatness, professionalism. Following upon my complaint against IKEA who employs DYNAMEX to deliver their products.Initially, they INFORMED me of the date and time they would deliver by an AUTOMATED system, (not even a person) you could respond to, obligating you to make the call to IKEA who the message said you needed to contact if the hours or day were not good, which I did, upon which IKEA informed me (after waiting for a LONG time for a live person) that I was NOT to call them but Dynamex. So I did, and they said I needed to contact their Hayward office, which was my office, which I did again, at TWO numbers to which no one responded to in the ENTIRE afternoon. So, I called their 800# again and pushed sales so as to talk to a live person without waiting a ton of time again and finally told that person I WAS NOT AVAILABLE at the stipulated time. She said that was fine and she'd pass on the info. that I was only available after 4:00pm and someone would call me. No one did the next day so I called again and they informed me IKEA required a redelivery fee as I had not been there at the stipulated time!!! Finally, after I explained and a big wait, she had her sup. approve the so called redelivery and I reiterated my requirements. NO ONE called and when they did it was the automated system again to give me the SAME TIME SLOT! Again I called and said NO, NOT POSSIBLE. Someone called me back close to 11:00 pm in the evening (!) to confirm I was NOT available at that time the next evening. I said "well, am I receiving my products at the time slot I can?" at which point the man curtly answered "I'm working on that, ma'am". Next day,no call- AGAIN. In the afternoon hours a man called to say he'd tried to deliver my products in the morning: I COULD NOT BELIEVE IT!!! I contained myself while telling him that was NOT the agreement and it was for the afternoon, if any. Would he come or not? He said he would. Guess what; never did, no follow up, nothing. I talked to their sales department and they COULD NOT REACH HIM at all. It is the next day and I have heard nothing. Essentially, I have been at this almost all week, not received my items, and thoroughly disgusted with this abominable service. Their recordings for a prompt, easy, blah, blah service are false advertising! Your Desired Resolution: Deliver my products when I'M available, not when you want to!! I WORK. Be professional and treat people with respect, and stop promising a service you do not deliver- literally! read more

AWFUL. These guys started delivering for Amazon, and I use Amazon Prime. I live in a gated community with no front office. That's never a problem for FedEx or UPS, and other smaller delivery companies have been very nice and accommodating about coming back later or calling me so I can meet them out front. Dynamex has been terrible about every single delivery they've done. -They have left my packages in the front lawn, outside the gate. I didn't know until a neighbor found it. -One time I was at home and missed their call, and I immediately called back. When I got to the gate, the delivery driver YELLED at me and told me he would leave the package on the street the next time I didn't answer my phone. -I had a package that was supposedly delivered one evening when I was home. I didn't get a phone call or hear anything about it until I checked the tracking info on Amazon. When I called Dynamex, the only info they had was that it was left at the (nonexistent) front office. They didn't know who the driver was or why nobody called me, and told me to call Amazon and have them reimburse me. I've contacted Amazon and given them feedback, so hopefully they can take action to make sure these guys don't scare off their Prime members. But if you're thinking of using them.... Don't. read more

This delivery service is a disaster! Like many other reviews I had the pleasure of dealing with them after several same day / next day Amazon deliveries. Not one single delivery has been on time or even within 24 hours of the expected delivery. I've heard every excuse from "bad weather was moving in" to "our personal customer service with people before you took longer than expected." They don't have leads, supervisors, or management available after 5pm, and they have no ability to contact their drivers. So if you need to find a package that hasn't arrived on time... well, you can't. read more

I would give no star if possible. It said on Amazon that the package delivered Saturday at 12:22pm and claim it was signed for by my wife. No, my wife never step out of the door on whole day Saturday. What a bunch of liar. I do not believe why Amazon still uses them. read more

Dynamex left a small Amazon Prime package in my driveway, exposed to rain and 6 feet in front of the (closed) garage door. No way to see it as we backed out of garage. The box became an expensive speed bump. Maybe next time they can walk 10 extra feet and leave it on the covered front porch like every other delivery company does? read more

I don't normally review, but me and some friends have been having continuous issues with this carrier service for our Amazon delivery. Our orders change to "Out for delivery"... and that's it. No package. All I can do is request a refund, but come on, what's happening to the missing packages? What's going on? I really wish Amazon would drop this carrier or I could select my carrier for my packages. read more
