Can't say enough good things about the service we received at Greeners. We had recently purchased a used diesel pusher RV in Texas and drove it to Michigan. Shortly after getting to Michigan we were having problems with a check engine light. The guys at Greeners were able to diagnose the problem and clear the code in minutes. We had another issue with the dash gauges on the same RV about a week later. They were able to get the RV into the ship and fix the problem on short notice and at a more than fair price. Dont go here. They just messed up my car. My engine could blow. They daid i need to pay 2 grand for my belt but its a chain. So now my car is messed up. Have to tow it and het it foxed somewhere else. They had me pay $500 to get it checked. read more

I brought my chevy van conversion to greeners truck service for a tune up and I purchased a battery. basic service. tune up was over $600 and I was told it should have been 2 hours more but mechanic was bound to estimate given by service writer. (actually, I did not receive an estimate as promised). battery was 'installed' without latching drawer despite red sticker that said "latch must be engaged" . today I found that my front carpet is saturated with water, because I keep a rubber backed carpet between front seats I didn't notice until there was an odor of mildew. I checked and mechanic had failed to latch engine compartment inside the vehicle. from video I watched- the plugs are very accessible once cover is removed , I guess he wanted to charge 2 hours to remove and replace the engine cover. so, basic service- simple, ommissions that IMO show the mechanic has no standards. I was informed that previous mechanic, tech & service writer all walked out a couple months ago so any review before 2018 is not current staff. there was another issue, I was refunded the hour of service when they agreed they had not done the service. that also required follow up by a 2nd service center and the actions of mechanic caused replacement of a $100 part . polite guys, questionable skills. read more

On 7/13/2019 I took my car to this place to have my tires rebalanced. The guy who works the front desk took my car in the shop and examined my tires and later said that he could not rebalance the rims because my tread was in his opinion too low. I've been fixing cars for over 30 year and I know when tires need to be replaced. Basically when you put a penny to your tire tread and if any part of Lincoln's head is not being covered by the treaf, then you need to replace your tires. My tires still have adequate tread. Then he tells me that if I get into an accident the Department of Transportation will find me a fault for the accident because of my tread depth. I found this very comical. I called him a liar right to his face. I told him that as a police officer for over 11 years I have investigated hundreds of traffic crashes and testified in court about many crashes. I know the law about traffic crashes more than this lying goober will ever know. Again, I told him to his face that he was in liar. When he discovered that I was a cop he actually backed away with his tail between his legs. It's important that the person that servicing your car does not lie to you. read more

I took my 2006 F-350 Turbodiesel to Rian at the truck center here and was greatly impressed. I told Rian what I was looking to do and he walked me through several procedures. He took the time to explain to me what would be most beneficial. After getting my truck back, I was extremely happy with the quality of work. I took my vehicle to Greener's for a routine oil change. Fast forward a few hours to me on the side of the road in subzero temperatures with smoke billowing from my engine. The technician forgot to replace the oil filler cap, and oil spewed all over my engine. The cap had been left where the hood latches, so to get the hood of my car open I had to break the hood latch mechanism, and the cap itself broke as well. The manager Rob called me back first thing the next morning and ordered parts, saying it would be a day before the past came in. The parts didn't come in the next day, but the day after, although he did pay to have them overnighted to the dealer. I was finally able to bring my car back in, they replaced the oil cap, the hood latch, and cleaned my engine, but the whole mess cost me a lot of time and stress. They were great about resolving the issue, but this kind of neglect is inexcusable. read more

Have been going to Greeners for many years for oil changes. Recently had to have transmission coolant lines replaced. The first upcharge came when their normal vendor didn't have all the partsin stock, and I was notified, my cost was going up. In the process Greeners ruined the radiator. Their response was "it happens sometimes", and proceeded to try and charge me an additional $700 to replace the radiator too. I consulted a few other autoshops in town for quotes. Upon talking to other shops, they all said the same thing "if this was to happen in our shop, we would ask you to purchase the radiator, but the labor would be on us." Greeners would not own up or accept any responsibility for the further damage of my vehicle. I ended up having them stop all work, and had it towed to another garage. I was charge $120 for an hour and a half of labor, and given back a vehicle that was in worse shape than when I originally took it there. Talking with some of my coworkers, they have had similar experiences with Greeners, where one repair, turns into multple, and the bill kept rising. They will never have by business again, not even for an oil change. read more

I recently had issues with my Nissan Sentra GXE and drove it to Greeners because it was the closest repair shop to me. My car was stalling when I slowed down, and sometimes my odometer (RPM gauge) would go to 0 even though the car was still running. They told me that it would take them a couple hours to diagnose what was wrong, and would call me when they figured it out. Later when they called me, they told me it was my Mass Air Flow Sensor and said it would cost $532 to replace! The part itself it was $300 but labor was going to be $200. That part is right next to the air filter. I told them I would order the part, and install it myself. I got the part from Advance Auto Parts for $170 and installed it IN 5 MINUTES. They also charged me $90 just to tell me what was wrong, and the mass air flow sensor wasn't even the problem in the end, it was the IAC. So please, do yourselves a favor and do not bring your business to these guys. Their prices are ridiculous and their diagnosis' aren't even accurate. This was a TERRIBLE experience for me.
