Arrive early a.m. if you are in a hurry since they are super busy.They gave us 2 free tire caps as well since we had lost them on the way.We were traveling from over 100 miles away and they did NOT take advantage of us since they knew we were out of state from the plates.It was $15.00 to repair. They offer free air to everyone with a cool,easy to use digital air pressure gauge outside the store.The waiting room lobby is clean,has a TV and tons of magazines to peruse while you wait. So I'm the guy who gave a zero star review over this store's after the sale support but I realized I didn't explain what happened and now I have the receipts. Which makes me even angrier. I had new tires installed on a Jeep Grand Cherokee. Of course I went for the up sale and got the good ones. I was assured they were quieter. Then, I realized that when I drove sixty-two miles an hour on a smooth road all four tires were slapping against the pavement and making a lot of noise. I took the car back and explained what was going on and that I thought the wheels were out of balance since it appeared that the existing balance weights had been removed. The salesman told me to let him drive the car. He came back and said there was no vibration so maybe I had a problem with my axles and should pay a visit to the dealer. In other words; F@@k Off. I guess he figured it wasn't worth putting a wheel on the machine to check it even though there were empty bays. Maybe his ass knows better. So I went to The Other Tire Store in Holland and had the wheels balanced. Below are the results of how out of balance the tires were on their machine: Left Front Right Front 1.20 oz 1.50 oz Left Rear Right Rear 2.00 oz 1.00 oz I was told this was enough to feel something wrong on any of the tires. I'm no expert so I'll let them chime in. I should also note that the tires making noise and slapping on the pavement immediately went away after they balanced them. I also checked the pricing on the tires I bought and would have gotten a better deal at The Other Tire Store in Holland. The part that really got me was the damage done to my wheels. They are gloss black and a couple came back pretty scratched up. I've since purchased a new set of tires for another car from The Other Tire Store in Holland and could not be happier. As I mentioned previously, virtually 99% of my reviews are positive because I think people often will write to complain but, sometimes don't take the time to acknowledge a job well done. In my humble opinion, take your business elsewhere. read more

We have purchased Belle Tires from the North Holland location and they have been great at adjusting the tire pressure. Today I went in to get that done as the summer tires were put on by a dealer. Rick at Belle Tire was rude. Wouldn't even let me make an appoinment to get the tire pressure reset without me waiting until he got his work done and going in the back room to work with scheduled appointments. I understand waiting but it is how rude he was that was shocking. read more

I took my car in , my car had been making a grinding noise on left hand turns. One of their so called technicians, came out and said he didn't know , could possibly be a CV axle . Totally lazy or dumb or both. Took it to my regular mechanics, who are very knowledgeable and friendly, told be the rotors needed to be replaced. I'll never go back to belle tire and sure the hell don't recommend them. read more

Rick then recommended another tire from the same manufacturer that he assured us would be as good or better than the tires we were first interested in. Had an appointment on 4/1/22 to get two new front tires on my F-150 Lariat. I had purchased the truck in the fall of 2019 from a used car lot. When I had the truck inspected before purchase the front right strut was broken. As part of the sales agreement the dealership replaced the strut, but I didn't ask if they checked the alignment after replacing the strut. Fast forward to Spring of 2022 and when it was time to pull the truck out of winter storage, I noticed how unevenly worn the right front tire was. As part of the new tire installation Belle Tire promises a free tire alignment check. Brandon calls me up to the counter and says they have my two new tires installed and I'm all set. I ask for a copy of the alignment check. He says, "We ran out of paper, but the alignment checked out fine". It was at this point I mentioned the strut. He says, "well, they must have done a great job in replacing the strut because it checked out good". I said, "that's funny because the front right tire was wearing unevenly" He says, "the tire was probably that way when you bought it". I said, no it wasn't. He just shrugged. I asked if I could see the alignment. He said he would go see what he could do. After a time, he comes back and says there was a miscommunication, and it was "another" F-150 that checked out fine and if I provide my keys, they will get me on the machine and check. So, I must wait another hour to get what was in my sales contract. No biggie. I'm a patient person. Brandon owned up to his mistake and said that he wasn't going to charge me for the alignment - which I appreciated. He hands me the alignment paperwork and says, "we put paper back in it". I just chuckle. How awkward that must have been to be caught in an obvious lie. I allowed him to save face and thanked him and went on my way. After all the red flags I should have inspected the work immediately, however, I was running behind schedule at this point and just wanted to get on my way. After arriving home and while checking my tire pressure I noticed a rather large scuff mark on one of the rims that received a new tire. It was gouged all the way into the aluminum. These are not just surface scratches. There is also gouge marks on the edge of the rim. I was later told by another tire shop it was because they didn't put a protector on the clamp when they did the alignment. I'm at a loss as to what do about it. 20" chrome rims are not cheap to replace. There is no "buffing" out the damage. I have little faith that Belle Tire will make this right so I'm probably just going to take my business elsewhere in the future. My advice to anyone else reading this is to avoid them. This is not the first time I've been burned by them. The last time they cut holes in the wheel wells of my wife's Equinox to install new struts rather than take the fender wells out. Seems they like to cut corners where they can. read more

I always go to Belle Tire since I bought my tires there and get free rotations and alignment checks. Just recently I had them do those things as well as check my brakes. I paid just about 275 to get the front axel done. Honestly I would have done then myself but my I don't have my jack and I was already there. Ultimately if you're buying tires Belle Tire is fine but auto work is not the most cost effective. They are very knowledgeable however. This particular Belle Tire annoyed me because my car was being worked on for around 3 hours and I was waiting there. They did have a pretty nice waiting room with a TV and it has a nice location near a strip mall and Meijer, target and Dicks if you want to walk around while the car is being worked on. The waiting room is a plus since most auto places lack even decent chairs. Now these aren't arm chairs but they at least have some padding on the butt and back. I'll likely continue to return here for the free rotations and alignment checks, and since there isn't another close to me. But if you're looking for cheap auto work look elsewhere. read more

Wanted to purchase 4 tires, Michelin Defender LTX MS 275/60r20. Made a couple of requests, one being do not use a impact wrench as the lugnut have a aluminum cap so I would like it done by hand. Mike said that was a odd request but they would be careful and still use the impact wrench. I said I would take off the lugnuts but that was a no go. Told him that the wheels have a plastic wheel cover (Looks like chrome) but no, that didn't work either. I will not darken their door. I also will try to get in touch with Belle Tire Execs. Good shop!! Made an online appointment, got my alignment done in a matter of a couple of hours. Dealerships can never do that and they can't price competitively either. Belle didn't up sell over 1k worth of stuff I didnt need at the moment either like some car places/dealerships would. Great warranties at little cost too, making Michigan roads less painful to the wallet. 30 extra for unlimited alignments for a year!! Worth it here, definitely!!!!!!!! read more

Bought 4 tires from them in Sept. First time from Bell, in the past from Discount Tire. Had a flat Wed before Christmas, brought it in, it was repaired that day, but no time to put back on car. No problem. Called Tue after Christmas, was told I could get an appointment Jan 4, I asked if it could be sooner, was told that Thur at 1:30, but it might take until 2:30 before it might be done, all that was needed was to take a tire off and put it back on, 10 minutes at most. Told person I had purchased these Michelin tires for over 20 years, first time from Bell, in past from Discount, told them I never had this problem there. Person got defensive, saying he had worked there for 5 years so he knew what there service was, Told him that maybe was why he no longer worked there, asked for manager, was put on hold and hung up after 5 minutes. Tire companies have to realize all they are selling is service, the same time is the same no matter where you buy. Service the customers you have before you worry about getting more new customers that you will not be able to service. Should have checked their reviews, half complained about poor service, and this was from corporate site. My last tires from Belle. read more

The Holland location has always been wonderful to me, for tires or just the small stuff. I was recently in for a low tire on a Monday. They fixed a repair that had come loose and I was off. Well again on Thurs morning, the tire was low again. I went in and they let me know that the tire was not repairable again. I had purchased the tire from Belle, and they were 50,000 mi tires, and I had 60,000 on them, along with them all having repairs done over the years due to picking up screws. So now to come up with the $ to pay for the tires. They recommended the Goodyear CC 6mo no interest. Well it worked and we ordered new tires and I came in on Friday morning to have them put on. I was there at 8:30 and pretty much out the door by 9:30. GREAT JOB! But the other surprise they had for me was that a friend had called down to the store without me knowing and paid for my tires, so they all got to share in the surprise gift to me. I went in for a tire leak. Rick took care of the intake and was extremely professional and nice. The repair took no more than30 mins and I was on my way. However when I got on the freeway to travel to Lansing two days later, any time my speed got over 60, there was a definite vibration coming from the tires. It scared me to death thinking the tire was loose and it was going to fly off. Unfortunately it was 7 a.m in the morning and was unable to contact the Holland location until they opened at 8. I spoke to the manager Mike and he said I need to get it in to have the tires balanced. After speaking to him I was completely frustrated at his lack of interest and concern in the obvious error made by the technician Adam. I had to go to a Belle Tire in Lansing and spend another 45 mins to have all the tires balanced. According to the Belle Tire in Lansing they said Holland NEVER bothered to balance the tires. My TPMS sensor went off - a tire was leaking. I checked the pressure and though I had lost about 10 lbs of air, I could still drive - but it was getting late on a Saturday. I chanced it and went to Belle Tire - arriving 10 minutes prior to closing. Not a problem, they brought it in and went right to work. It turned out to be a small shard of metal, puncturing the tire then almost self sealing, making it very hard to find, so they ended up staying 10 minutes past closing. I'd bought tires at Belle for previous vehicles, but this vehicle still has OE tires. The charge? FREE. I could see them take the time to properly tourque wrench the lugs as well. A smile when they handed back the keys too - even though I made them stay late. Awesome customer service Belle! read more
